We stayed at the hotel for three nights in February. The warm rooms were bright, modern and comfortable, imagine staying in an ikea showroom and you will get the idea. The ice bar, cold rooms and sculptures were all very impressive and an unique experience. Sleeping in a cold room, getting changed and using the communal changing rooms etc was all rather better than I had expected and was fun. My only complaint is that there are only two restaurants in the hotel, both of which offer a very similar and rather restricted menu. The food in both was expensive and very poor. You have little alternative but to accept it though as there are no restaurants or bars in the area, the nearest being in Kiruna which is a £90 (return) taxi journey from the Icehotel.
