"Surprised Location"
From the description we were given, we expected to be on the ocean side of the busy street but was not. The condo was nice, and very peaceful. We had a beautiful view of the ocean although it also was of a busy street. When we booked it also said that there would be a breakfast included, but there was not. It will be nice that Hotel.com would give the check-in instructions. If I had not read the review, it would be very frustrating to find out the rental office and the property are in two separate locations. Definitly call the rental office before you get there. The staff at AB Sea Rentals provided ok customer serivce. I had called prior to my stay asking about ammenities however, after our arrival, I called the Rental facility and reported the hairdryer missing they stated they would call me back within a few minutes with a response. The pool and hot tub were very nice. I like how the hotel was right on the beach. I was wishing that the condo had supplied trashbags and papertowel and dishwashing detergent. "Little Things Do Matter..."
The hotel location was great because it was located off the seawall and we did not need to cross the street to get to the beach. The features of the hotel like the pool area and access to the beach were very convenient and nice, however the room we were in #2102 was not great..it was ok. To tell you the truth, the room was a little small for 4 adults […] and a toddler. I can't imagine 6 people staying in one room. The owner should really invest in a couple new things. The queen bed was rather uncomfortable where the middle sunk down so you couldn't get a good night sleep. The sleeper sofa wasn't much of a sleeper because you were laying on the coils, which made it not sleepable. My family had to squeeze into the twin size bunk beds. The kitchen appliances (eg. blender) was cracked and leaked, the utensils were all worn and limited, the cookware all scratched up. We were really questioning the cleanliness of the linens. For a room that supposedly was "newly remodeled", the owners could have spent a little more on the little necessities to make it more comfortable and less on granite countertops. We were reprimanded to remove our wet clothes from the balcony...where else do you dry wet clothes??? And yes, you have to pay an HOA (Home Owners Assoc.) fee of $25 upon arrival. Why??? There was no washer/dryer in the room.I would NOT spend as much as we did per night again. If it wasn't for the beach and pool, we would have been very disappointed 詳情Expedia 旅客真實的評價

Beach front condo. We stayed in 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit that also had 2 bunk beds and sofa sleeper. Full kitchen. View of the beach. Very nice pool with 2 hot tubs. Condo had owners and renters and everyone was nice. You can rent chairs and umbrellas from office area. Read some bad reviews and dont understand why. "A B Sea Rentals is nothing but a filthy hassle."
First of all A B Sea Rentals are misleading when they say you have "private access" to the beach. All of the pictures are misleading and truly a person does not know where they are staying; which condo they are renting. We thought "oh boy, we have finally arrived, only to be told we had to turn around and back track almost all the way to the main highway […] leading off of Galveston Island just to get our room number and keys". The person at the front desk of our particular condo was very nice and congenial to us personally, but had no affiliation with A B Sea. She also complained of the issues that most of the customers had that came to her through A B Sea. A B Sea Rentals does not answer their phones and the messages they have for you to leave a message are so rude that you don't even want to leave a message. The room was great, although the manager and associates of the management company are by far the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever come in contact with. If you plan on arriving after the posted office hours, be prepared to sit in your car without room keys because the emergency contacts will not answer their phone. "Rental Agency"
The Condo was great and really thank the owners for allowing the opportunity to stay in their beach home. The ocean front was absolutely beautiful and waking up in the morning with the sun coming up and the waves oh my. Now for the problem....the rental agency has a lot to be desired, surprise extra fees, and made to believe that things are to be true […] that are not so. I have my doubts that I will ever use the same rental agency again. That is sad because I would have liked to stay in that condo again. 回應者：Galveston Condos by A B Sea Rentals We do our best to keep the site as informative and up to date as possible. There are no surprise fees. I've disclsoed this list of fees to the site for all to see. I've even copied and pasted directly from the site. Some properties do require parking fees which are collected at those properties. The fees are disclosed on the sites. All reservations are required to pay the per reservation Insurance fee $25 which is due at the property. Some unit types require the guest to pay the cleaning/laundry charges which at this time is only the three bedroom units. The $200 security deposit is waived if you provide your credit card number at check-in. "Need a new mattress in bedroom!"
The room was very nice and clean. My only complaint was the mattress in the bedroom. It was horrible, and I had restless nights. Other than the mattress, the room was excellent. "Maravilla Condo Nice, Grounds and Pool Run Down"
Would have to say will not be back until the pool and grounds have been renovated. Pool was full of mildew and algae, needs a good scrubbing! Our individual condo was clean and well maintained. The Galveston location is good. The set up for key pick up is a bit inconvenient, have to go to another office to pick up, but will say that Norma was very nice […] at A B Sea Rental. "Will never use A B Sea Rentals"
The hotel is not A B Sea Rentals first of all. You do not get told until after you pay that there is a cleaning fee and a bunch of other fees that you have to pay when you go pick up the key and you don't have a choice to cancel. The place to pick up the key (which is AB Sea) is on the other end of galveston. If you don't pick the key up during the […] time they are open you are out of luck. The people there are not nice and talk to you like you are stupid. Will NEVER use A B SEa again they where horrible. I think hotels.com should know that they are dealing with a rental company and not the hotel itself. 回應者：Galveston Condos by A B Sea Rentals The facility is on the East Island End and is not a Hotel. It is a privately owned Condo. This particular owner requires that the tenant pay the cleaning fees which is very clearly disclosed on the policies of the sites. So there is no surprise, it clearly states what the cleaning fee is. The only other fee which is also clearly stated is $25 for Damage Insurance. We've provided information on the sites which states to "Call" the office if arriving after 4:00 PM so that we can give you the late arrival instructions. Since your information is not shared with us through the booking agent we cannot contact you. We do have policies in place for after hours arrivals so you are in no way "Out of Luck!" Also it is clear in the instructions that you must come to our office to pick up your keys. If you drive straight to the property you'll be upset as they cannot check you into the unit as they are not affiliated with our services.
