Garden House - 伊斯坦堡

December is not a great time of year to visit Istanbul - it rained but umbrellas were available and the staff very helpful and enthusiastic. Breakfast in the Garden room was an experience - especially when the electricity failed and we lost power to the coffee machine and the heating. But that was Istanbul and not the hotels fault. Avoid the local restaurants […] down the hill (hygiene very iffy) and go for either the hotel restaurant or the restaurants in Sultanamet near the mosque or even better the ones in Sirkeci. We had gone to celebrate my wife's birthday and the hotel was ideal for us as a couple - lovely room - but don't expect a bath - this is turkey and Turkish baths are a whole different experience - and one I'd recommend! 詳情

This is a lovely building and the staff are most helpful. The breakfast was ample and there are always snacks and drinks available in the lounge. It is in a peaceful area away from the bustle of the city. We were upgraded as the double economy room we had was damp and affecting my breathing. Our next room overlooked the courtyard and the trees which […] was pleasant. However, there is a problem with echoing noise in the corridors and people coming in late always disturbed us. ExcEllent hotel. We stayed in a junior suite and it was fabulous. Really clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Location was great just 5 mins away from blue mosque and many restaurants and sites. One of my favourite hotels. Good breakfast also. Also got a complimentary Vogel of wine and some fruit. You have to expect the little hotels in this part of the town are converted old apartments so the rooms are small and neighborhood is residential and old. Our biggest problem was thin walls so we could hear way too much of what was going on with our neighbors. Otherwise take your earplugs and enjoy the great location.

Very nice staff and outdoor lounge area/restaurant. Included breakfast was very nice. Room was a bit small but very satisfactory. Friendly service.

Our stay in the hotel was not good at all, the hotel staff were so unhelpful and scary. It has good location. The restaurant is the worst ever. Breakfast is ok. I just have no idea how is this a four star hotel.

This is a smaller hotel situated in the best of locations. This hotel is very close to all the major sites and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.

You can walk around and see all must see sights. Reception and all stuff really kind. We would choose this hotel any time. Thanks for every thing.

Cute, quiet hotel about 5 minutes away from the Hippodrome. Our rooms were on the small end but were cozy and very clean, and our stay was relaxing. The staff were wonderful for helping to book tours, cars, etc., and the location was convenient to the major sights of Sultanahmet.

The two best things of this hotel are its location (very close to main sights in Old Istanbul) and its staff (extremely cordial and helpful). Breakfast is also good, and the patio setting is great. Be aware that taxis do not easily find the hotel.

Service is very quick and friendly. Breakfast is very nice in variety. Rooms are bit smaller than appear on photos. Location is close to main landmarks.

Really nice and calm hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are neatly furnished, lovely decorated and very clean. Good value for the money, but some rooms can be a little small. However, the reception staff will happily move you to another room if possible. From the hotel you can reach Blue Mosque (5 min), Haga Sophia (10 min) and the […] Topkapi Palace (15 min) by foot. The area of Sultanahmet with all its neat restaurants and little stores is also within a 5 min walking distance. To get to the hotel from the airport take the metro and trolley instead of a taxi. It’s both less expensive (approx. 2€ per person) and faster given the traffic in the city. Take the red line to “Zeytinburnu” and from there the blue line direction of “Kabatas” and exit at “Sultanahmet”. From there it’s about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. 詳情

I cannot recommend this hotel too highly. In every way, they helped to make our few days in Istanbul enjoyable, comfortable and memorable. They are going to add on an extension in the next few weeks which should make it even more comfortable as they are doing away with 2 or 3 smaller rooms on the ground floor and adding a patio area. Hi, the Garden house hotel is very close to all of the highlights in Sultanahmed. Still a quiet place to have a rest. The manager, the receptionists, the cleaning stuff - everybody was very friendly and helpful. We loved staying at this hotel and our kids, too.

Garden House ist ein kleines charmantes Hotel ..nicht von der Stange, sondern unverwechselbar.

This hotels was nice and clean and is very close to the big cites. The food was ok but gets boring after 3 days. The hotel staff in the evening was much friendly and helpful than the morning staff.

Hotellet ligger kun 5 minutters gang fra den Blå Moske i den gamle og meget charmerende bydel, Sultanahmet. Jeg havde bestilt et singleværelse men fik et stort velindrettet dobbeltværelse. Mysigt familjärt hotell på bara några minuters promenadavstånd till Blå Moskén, Topkapi palatset och Haga Sofia. Ostört läge utan trafikbuller. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Rent och snyggt. Sängen godkänd men något hård för vår smak. Förtjänar sina fyra stjärnor enligt Turkisk standard. Vi bodde i en "Imperial svit" men det liknade dock mest ett vanligt […] rum på ca 20 m2 med plats för en mindre soffa med soffbord och ett hyfsat stort badrum. Dejligt hotel, - down the hill! Stille omgivelser, god service, rene værelser, frugtkurv og vin til velkomst og fri kaffe/te. Et hotel man kan føle sig hjemme i! Ligger centralt ifht. sporvogn, seværdigheder og lufthavn (Atatürk). Vi kommer tilbage!

Είναι μέσα στο ιστορικό κέντρο, σε μία ήσυχη γειτονιά δίπλα στο βυζαντινό ναό Άγιο Σέργιο και Βάκχο, τώρα Kucuk Agia Sofia Camii και κοντά στον Ιππόδρομο. Das Hotel Garden House gefiel mir besonders wegen der netten, ein wenig familiären Atmosphäre! Man kümmerte sich sehr herzlich um uns und stand uns bei allen möglichen Ausflügen mit Rat zur Seite. Die Zimmer sind sehr nett eingerichtet, der Frühstücksraum ist sehr angenehm mit einem Hof und Walnussbäumen. Frühstück übrigens auch sehr lecker (Gemüse, […] getrocknete Früchte, Oliven,....). Vor allem die Lage ist genial, in zwei Minuten steht man im Innenhof der Blauen Moschee, in zehn Minuten hat man den Eingang zum Topkapi-Palast erreicht und die Anlegestelle in Eminönü zu allen möglichen Vierteln ist auch fußläufig zu erreichen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist auch ein Spaziergang an der Uferpromenade am Bosporus-Ufer! Istanbul hat mich umarmt und Garden House war ein guter Start! Wünsche allen eine schöne Zeit!
