Bodega Bay Lodge - 波地加灣

We were upgraded to a room with a view overlooking the Bay. An added bonus was the estuary. The Inn prvided bonoculars as well. The room was perfect and the staff exceptionallly accommodating. We would love to go back.

Went for our wedding anniversary, as we were married in Bodega. We'd never stayed at Bodega Bay Lodge, but I was reasonably impressed with our stay, particularly given the rate we got on hotels.com. The room is basically an upgraded motel room, with fireplace, but in an absolutely beautiful setting. Breakfast service was haphazard and slightly overpriced […] (it is a hotel breakfast) but the view was lovely, the fireplace was lovely, and the breakfast itself was delicious (even if I question whether the orange juice was fresh squeezed). Coffee, corned beef hash, juevos rancheros were great. Other folks had delicious looking crab omletts, and I believe one of the biggest bloody mary's I've ever seen. I didn't have any spa treatments, but did use the small but well equiped gym, hot tub, and small but functional pool, all with beautiful views (nothing like being on the elliptical trainer with a view like that!). Dinner was delicious, but wine mark-ups were high (300%), and again slightly overpriced ($18 for half dozen oysters). The halibut with peashoots was amazingly good, and very inventive, so kudos to the chef for that. I would definitely go again. 詳情

Met all expectations. Very pleased with service and amenities. Breakfast was great. Didn't get to try the restaurant for dinner.

Very nice hotel located in remote area. Not a lot around the area. Restaurant very good. Wonderful rooms. Had both the pacific and bodega rooms. Both very nice and came with artificial logs and had beautiful views. I was sorry I only had one night. Wineries all a good drive to get too and were very primitive compared to napa. We absolutely loved the Bodega Bay Lodge, it was peaceful, tranquil, gorgeous spacious rooms with high ceilings, romantic, amazing views from balcony, great pool/jacuzzi area....all around wonderful. we felt like we were at a luxury cottage.

This place is AMAZING. The views were incredible and the rooms were perfect. We were there for my sister wedding and the staff was more than happy to help us with all our needs. From hosting the reception to staying the night this place was the perfect ending to a wonderful weekend.

We've stayed at the Lodge before and enjoyed the location, the beach, the restaurant, and the hotel itself. This time we were only there for one night but it had to be the most relaxing day of our trip. although we only stayed one night, and the weather was awful, the hotel was great and the staff very nice and accommodating. Gym was small but adequate, dinner at the hotel restaurant was good as was breakfast. Low key and unpretentious. Come when the coast is without fog and then it would be perfecct

Nice place to stay. The restaurant is excellent and highly recommended.

Except.for the smell of fresh paint the room was comfortable with a great view.

We loved this hotel. The location is incredibly beautiful, and the rooms were very nice. We loved having a fireplace and great views of the bay. Highlights included the spa (very low key but fun), sauna, pool, and the restaurant. We had a couple of meals at their on site place and it has a wonderful atmosphere with great service, food, and views (but […] very much a full city price). Lowlights were some construction on check-in (but not near the guest rooms), and the incredible proximity to they bay and its coast guard station meant there was a fog horn audible at night. It was faint enough that air blowing through a vent masked it, but woke us up a couple times. As icing on the cake, the front desk told us to head out to the bay because others were seeing whales, and we got to see several whales along the amazing rocky coast. It was incredible. 詳情

I really like this hotel for its location and its restaurant. Before check in at 4:00 we spent the day at Doran Beach just down the road. (Sonoma Country regional park with a day fee required.) Bodega Bay Lodfe is excellent. Very much enjoyed the room, service, and the restaurant, The Duck Club. Bodega Bay however was quite disappointing. Other than going to bodega Bay Head to walk along the cliffs and look for whales not much else to do.

Beautiful walks on the flat beach. More protected from the Nor Cal coastal winds and a great spot over looking Bodega Bay.

Nice accomodations--marble counters in bathroom, and luxuriously soft towels were a plus. Very clean room, too. Cozy bed with down comforter and a flat screen T.V. made our stay extra enjoyable. Gourmet goodies and alcoholic beverages were available for purchase. This is one of the nicest places I've stayed. Had the feeling of a Tahoe cabin, as did […] the office/front desk area. At check-in, they were not even aware if the room I had reserved was supposed to have a fireplace. Reviews said every room had a fireplace. And every room has a view, but mine did not. We went there for a romantic getaway and expected some sort of a view from our balcony but there was a small piece of garden view and if you looked a certain angle, you […] would see part of the harbor...and i mean a small part. I complained and was told that there were no other rooms to move us to. Later on after about a couple of hours, I went to the front desk becuase of the noise and told another clerk about our check-in experience. She changed our room assignment, put us on the second floor and there we got our view. She was definitely nicer and more accomodating. There were plenty of rooms vacant so I did not understand why we were not oroginally moved to a better room when we asked. But all in all, this hotel is very nice, and very comfortable beds. Nice fireplace...and if you get the right room, spectacular view. Nice short walk to the beach was very relaxing. Bodega Bay Lodge is truly a magnificent place. if exceeded our expectations. The staff was one of the most friendly and helpful staffs which we ever had. The place was beautiful, clean, scenic,and peaceful places in which we had ever stayed. Bodega Bay is beautiful in a fairly windswept way and close to Sonoma villages, wineries and the redwoods around occidental. Bodega Bay Lodge was a great "base station" from which to explore wine country. We stayed for three nights and spent two days exploring both the North and South Sonoma County Wineries. It was a beautiful spot, and was a treat to be so close to the wineries yet to be on the coast in a totally different micro-climate. Our room had a lovely patio with […] views of the water - perfect for enjoying breakfast in the room, or an evening glass of wine. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Did not use the spa so can't comment on it. I highly recommend this spot and would definitely return. fabulous! We only had one night here unfortunately, stayed 2 nights in Sonoma & 2 in San Francisco. this was our favorite hotel of our entire vacation stay. hope to be back again!

The Bodega BayLodgeis a nice, comfortable lodge and spa. It offers many nice touches, such as a wine reception for guests. While I was disappointed that the adjacent Bodega Bay and coastline weren't more picturesque, the hotel itself was lovely.

I looked over the hotels in the surrounding area during our stay, and from the outside at least it is certainly the nicest. It was quiet, couple-oriented, It might be boring for most children, although mine enjoyed walking the beach and grounds.

FROM CHECK-IN TO CHECK OUT EVERY MINUTE WAS A PLEASURE. THE VIEW , THE SPA, AND THE HOTEL STAFF WERE EVERYTHING WE EXPECTED AND MORE.

This place is a GEM - not one thing bad to say about hotel/stay. AMAZING views, close enough to walk to secluded beach, heated pool, delicious food and wine (get the 4/5 course pairing), staff excellent, perfect bed. Enjoy your morning coffee on private patio w/ocean view!!!

We had specific requests which the hotel was able to accomodate for us. Great views from the balconies, beautiful views from the Duck Club, beds were exceptionally comfy and they gave us extra logs for the fireplace (we came in on a rainy nite and it was fabulous to have to take the chill out). One of the prettiest places on earth. A must visit! The ONLY downside was the lighthouse fog horn. Great staff. Nice restaurant. Very peaceful. Highly recommended.

The room was very comfortable-we brought our son with us and the extra bed/room was perfect. We had a nice view of bay and ocean-even being on "ground" level. Our only surprise was a constant horn for the light house across the inlet-minor inconvience for such a nice hotel.

room upstairs was nice. view was good. The pool and jacuzzi need to be much larger. Dining room need a fountain and a better sound system. Food was good . Service good.

Nice resort in a nice location. However, more nickel and diming than other resorts we've stayed in. Restaurant was marginal, spa was extraordinarily expensive. Room, after being cleaned, smelled of more smoke from the fireplace than when we were using it.

The hotel was very nice, all amenities were above average. Loved the fireplace! The only complaint was the late time of the check-in. Four o'clock is rather late, and they would not let anyone check in earlier,. It was on a Sunday, so they were busy, but some rooms must be done before 4!

Every room is quite spacious, has an ocean view, balcony and a fireplace. The key component to a comfortable hotel for me is the bedding - high thread count sheets, feather bed, good pillows. I slept like I was at home. The bathroom as such I stay at a lot of 5 star hotels and have developed into a bit of a hotel connoisseur. I was very pleasantly surprised […] at the quality of the room. Nice, clean room. Friendly staff. Next door to Bodega Harbour Golf links, which was very convenient. Nice fitness center with new equipment.

the hotel is located a short drive to Doran Park where you can walk on the beach. Hot tub,pool and spa are very nice. The restaurant on site is wonderful with great views. Free wine and cheese between 5-6pm. All in all a top notch stay! The only con was no radio in room..only an ipod docking station.

My husband loved it. We have stayed there previously and enjoyed it, but this stay was outstading. The amenities were terrific,including the fireplace in the room,great bathroom,super beds and also the nice surprise of the iPod docking station.
