One of the very few places where you are right on the ocean. Home and workplace of famous Peruvian artist, Victor Delfin, his daughter Lillian Delfin converted a portion of this 100-year old home into a bed and breakfast. Surrounded by the stunning works of Delfin--larger-than-life sculptures and paintings-- wake up to a view of the ocean, friendly […] breakfast, and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There's a sitting area on the second level and a balcony where one can view a spectacular sunset. Grounds and rooms are meticulously clean. Unlike other B&B's, Second Home is quiet--no hallway conversations from other guests can be heard. Relax here or take a short walk to a little plaza in the heart of Barranco--cross the Bridge of Sighs to restaurants and bars, strolling musicians, vendors. A short taxi ride gets you to Miraflores and many other popular tourist venues. If you want a quiet respite away from the bustling big city of Lima, this is the place. This is a very unique Bed and Breakfast featuring the artwork of one of Peru's greatest artist's, Victor Delfin. From the room accomodations with 13 foot ceilings, to the breakfast kitchen with wood burning fireplace, to sitting on the hilltop overlooking the Pacific ocean - everything provides a great and unique experience compared to staying in a […] hotel. This is a wonderful artist's home, in an old dutch-style mansion with very high ceilings, spacious rooms, great ocean views, very friendly and welcoming staff, in the bohemian area of barranco which is also great for going out, wonderful stay overall.

Gorgeous mansion by the ocean where the staff makes sure your every need is taken care of. The rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. It felt like my very own penthouse with my own personal staff. Absolutely fabulous!

This is a beatiful boutique bed and breakfast right on the coast. It is about 20-30 minutes in a (very cheap) cab to get to Lima center, but there is a lot to do in the Barrato/Miraflores area, and this is really convenient to that. This place was fantastic - A++ location, great art all around you, hospitality, convenience, etc - it really connects you to the history of Peru and the city to be staying there, couldn't have been happier...helpful and knowledgeable staff, when do you get to stay in an art gallery?

Although I had seen a lot of very positive remarks about this hotel, we were delighted with our experience there. Our room was pleasant with everything we needed including a bottle of water and wash cloths (first time we had these in our Peru visit). But the best parts were Lillian, her information about Lima and Peru, her tour of her father's art studio, […] and, of course, the art. Victor Delfin's art decorates the whole house and the yard and includes a variety of mediums. And on top of that, we had a great view of the Pacific from the balcony. Our stay at Second Home Peru was fantastic! The owner was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The owner had two gentle and amazing dogs which were fun to be around. The owner was eager to please the guests and we would return again when in Peru.

We expected another motel, or hotel, but this place was much more. It's a beautiful house converted to a guest house surrounded by great work of arts. I would love to visit here again.

As soon as we walked in we knew we would love it. They treat us like family and that is what it is; a home opened to guests. The house sits on the edge of the cliff overlooking the pacific ocean in the Baranco area in Lima. Beautiful view from the backyard. They are strict as to noise so I do not think this is a place for kids or family vacations. Keep in mind that this is a very old renovated home. You can hear people walking on the wood floors but that this was never a problem during our stay as the other guests were very considerate. They offered breakfast in a very cozy kitchen outside the house. The location is very centric and guarded from noises of the city and people that do not belong there. Highly recommended. 詳情

Second Home was a unique experience being owned and operated by the family of one of the most renowned Peruvian artists. We wre given a tour of not only the B&B portion but also taken to the studio and private home of the artist. That was the most amazing part. A nice place to stay and a cultural tour at the same time. My boyfriend and I stayed here after completing the Inca Trail and found it to be a great place to unwind and relax after a 4 day trek. We had an ocean view room where we could hear the waves crashing and it was fabulous! Just so great. The art work was interesting and the staff was cordial. I found the owner to be a bit standoffish yet she was also […] quite helpful, so I guess I shouldn't really complain. I wish I could stay in a place like this in every major city around the world. Med tanke på att detta hotell egentligen faller inom kategorin Bed and breakfast, är det verkligen helt fantastiskt! Man bor alltså i den berömde konstnären Viktor Delfins fd hem, som nu drivs av hans äldsta dotter. Man får gärna en rundtur i konstnärens ateljé och galleri, och vi träffade även honom. Själva hotellet är mycket vackert med en spektakulär […] utsikt över Stilla havet. Man får gärna bada i konstnärens privata pool om man önskar. Rummen är rymliga och vackra. Till frukost får man helt färskt bröd, nygjorda scrambled eggs eller ägg på annat sätt, i ett väldigt charmigt gammalt kök. Extra plus för egen del är att ägarinnans två vänliga hundar vistas i området, vilket är trevligt när man saknar sina egan hundar! Enda minus är egentligen att det ligger i Barranco, vilket är en bit ifrån turistområdet Miraflores, taxi går snabbt 5-10 minuter, men att gå tog minst 30-40 minuter. Mycket lugnt och fridsamt i kvarteren runt omkring dock! Allt som allt rekommenderar jag detta hotell varmt, om man vill ha en annolrunda och smått spektakulär upplevelse! 詳情
