We spent 5 days at the Maruba. The setting was beautiful, lush tropical gardens, 2 pools, hot mineral tub, spa .... The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was good - especially the coconut pie. The location is remote and we felt stranded without a car. We booked tours, daily, from the maruba: Excursion to Lamanai , cave tubing/ zoo/zip line and […] Hol Han. Tours are expensive but fortunately the groups are small. Our guide Dave was knowledgeable and professional. His enthusiasm infectious. I enjoyed the mood mud massage. The therapist was skilled. I had a good laugh seeing myself painted and adorned with flowers ... I got jungle-ized. 詳情

This is a great quiet get away to relax. The grounds were top notch. For us, it just wasn't our taste, as it was very dark and damp being in a jungle setting. Our room was like staying in a basement, with all cement walls. It was beautifully done with lots of tile and decorations, but it was just a bit to fancy for our taste. We were happier with cabanas […] on a Caye with a beach. It was nice for a change of pace, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time there. a 3 night stay found this resort had the best food from our entire Belize week-long trip. Staff are extremely attentive, the ambience outstanding, and quiet. Just what one needs to unstress.
