Metro Hotel and Cafe - 佩塔路馬

this was a great and funky little place. it was very quiet, so much so I was worried about being too loud.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was like a mini trip to France with the interesting design and decor, patio, cafe with the most delicious coffee (gratis), and very friendly and accomodating owners. Walking distance from charming downtown Petaluma with yummy restaurants, entertainment, and quaint shops. Would stay her again and again.

OMG we all LOVED this hotel. I would travel 2 hours again just to stay here. The hotel is super charming, modern, clean and has lots of fun, inviting personality. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are a bit small, but have all necessities. We had a large fluffy pillow top mattress, iron, ironing board, and lovely bathroom. We loved […] this place and even more for the price. Petaluma is a very cute town as well! It was a 15 minute drive to our winery in Sonoma and 15 minute drive home from Napa. Charming hotel, very comfortable beds. The only thing is the showers are half size claw foot tubs and they were a little difficult to stand in, being slippery from the newness and the sticky pads didn't stick. Just be careful if you are a clutze or a very tall person. Very steep tiny stairs to get up to the room, watch out if you are in stilletos! I booked this hotel because I wanted something different and interesting and I got just that. The staff was very nice and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable even though they were going through some renovations at the time. I would go back there any time before going to a big chain.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. It has a French Country theme, that followed through from the common areas to the guest room. Our room was very private, and included a fenced outdoor deck. What a wonderful and unique find! We loved the Metro Hotel and how different it was from any chain hotel we could have selected. One of the owners is from France and has brought that influence into this hotel. It is very cozy, very clean, and very charming. Definitely different! The Metro Hotel is cool; plain and simple. My husband and I were so distracted by all the neat knick-knacks everywhere we actually wished we had stayed longer to explore. I very rarely need mementos but the Paris Metro t-shirt in our room had my name all over it. The parking lot was full but we also arrived close to midnight and there was plenty of […] safe street parking right in the front of the hotel. After-hours check-in was a breeze and our room was super easy to find. The room was awesome; heck, the whole building was pretty awesome. Even though it is French shabby-chic (think euro-cool not French floral) our room was crazy clean and there was even a flat screen TV. Everything from the chalk-board headboard (with a French greeting written on it no less,) the lifesize goose nightlight and the clawfoot tub made me happy. This hotel may not be for everyone and I very rarely feel the need to write a review, but this hotel rocked. I'm actually still smiling as I write this. Oh yeah, and at less than half the price of most hotels in the area and no 2 night minimum, this hotel is totally worth staying at and driving into Sonoma or Napa. If you want the convenience of a big box hotel, this one is not for you. But if charm, personality, gracious fits your needs, you'll love Metro Hotel and Café. The outside appearance put us off a bit, but as soon as we entered, we felt like we were back in a small village in France. The room was decorated in French flea market, including an old claw-foot […] tub. But the convenience of a flat screen TV and wi-fi made the room perfect. The room was large, comfortable, and spotless. We loved the vine-covered patio with a bright-red bench. The hotel provides Peet's coffee, fresh brewed in French style. This was our first stay at the Metro Hotel and we enjoyed it! From the outside of the building, I never would have picked it. However, I read good reviews and decided to give it a try. The lobby is artsy and inviting. We loved the decor. The room was very comfortable and smelled so nice! (I don't know what they did to make it smell so good...wish I […] knew!) The bathroom claw tub/shower was easy to use. The only negatives we had were: 1. The man at the front desk had a strong accent and did not understand our needs for more towels. He kept bringing the wrong size until I physically showed him what I wanted. Then he went and got the correct size quickly. 2. The bathroom is poorly lit. We would definitely stay here again! This was such a great little hotel. I loved the look of everything! The only thing not so great is the way sound carries but it is not to bad.

Wonderful stay. Nice local hotel, next to great thai rest., easy access. Clean and comfortable. Will return.

We enjoyed the Metro. It has a sort of French neighborhood hotel look with lovely old posters in primary colors and hundreds of small and large objects d'art throughout. It's whimsical charm includes very little interaction with staff. It's pretty much self-serve. The Metro seems to be a work in progress. Bits of furniture, and decor laying around […] both inside and out, waiting perhaps to be transformed into part of the "shabby chic" simplicity of the hotel. The rooms represent that finished look and are simple, lovely and clean. The beds are wonderful! It's quiet, with lovely, if cluttered, garden areas and is right downtown with a couple of good restaurants nearby. The price is right; If you don't need the precision and conformity of a modern hotel, the Metro is definitely worth a try. 詳情

We loved this quaint, quirky, warm hotel. It is conveniently located just blocks from downtown and it is clean and surprisingly quiet. The only thing we would like to see different is that coffee service begin at 6am rather than 8am.
