Nice hotel Pros: clean (better maintained than the other traveler inn in beijing, we stayed at both), large size rooms with sitting area, close to subway station, fridge, kettle, easy for transport to airport, no skimping on toilet roll, fast wired internet in room, wifi downstairs only Cons: Little noisy (poor window glazing?), reception staff do […] not speak english at all and look at you blank faced (possibly because hotel is aimed at chinese tourists as oppose to other inn), wet room (gets very wet), poos breakfast (again only chinese breaky, only toast available for western breaky, no cereal etc), expensive for location, pisture of naked lady breastfeeding on wall (kept being put back up despite us taking it down! lol) 詳情

I stayed at this hotel for it's price (reasonable) and claims for internet in each room. The internet was a LAN cable that was only 5 feet long. So basically you were confined to using the computer at the desk. You couldn't use it on the bed or in the chairs by the window. The room I rented claimed to have a "city view". If the city is the building […] across the street... then it succeeded but I was thinking that a city view would be a little more substantial than that. The staff is nice, but nothing special. They don't speak English if you need that. The surrounding area has very limited quick/cheap dinning options. A KFC across the street, a chain noodle house 2 blocks south, and 2-3 other chain like shops 3 blocks east. The subway stop is about 4 blocks east or 7 blocks south. A nice feature was the fact that they gave you an actual full roll of toilet paper, not the very very small rolls that most Chinese hotels provide. The shower was a nice shower head that provided plenty of water, but it's a Chinese style shower (no tub) so the water basically covers the whole floor of the bathroom since the drain isn't big enough to handle all of the water and (again typical in China) the drain isn't at the lowest point in the bathroom. The bed is firm but not unbearable. The air-conditioning wasn't very powerful but it worked, but it wasn't the quietest either. If you're looking for a place that's quiet, not fancy, acceptable by Western standards, cheap... then this place will work for you. There are no wow factors at all for this place but there was nothing gross or unsatisfactory either. 詳情
