Beautiful location, impeccable service. Very friendly staff , very clean. We will definitely return. Our reservation was mixed-up and the reception staff went out of their way to accomodate our situation. We stayed at a villa, and there the internet reception at times was not the best, also the TV's in the rooms are outdated (old style cathode ray tubes) […] but who cares? we did not go to Poet's cove to watch tv! We went there after camping for 3 days on Salt Spring with our two dogs. They ended up upgrading us to a villa which was fantastic. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We spent the majority of our time at the pool and hot tub enjoying the gorgeous view. The restaurant could step it up a little. For the price we payed, it should have been amaxing […] but I would say it was pretty average. There isn't much to the island but what a great place to just kick back and relax. 詳情

Great resort, awesome marina and location, amazing views, phenomenal hiking in a serene setting. Food quality was great. Highly recommend this island and the resort. Only one comment aside from the above, resort staff although friendly would benefit from some further training.

My husband and I wanted a weekend away, and we were looking at various gulf islands, and we choose Pender Island solely because we had found the Poets Cove to stay at. The rooms were gorgeous, comfortable and clean. They all had beautiful views of the cove, and a warm fireplace for those rainy days. We really enjoyed waking up and going for a morning […] swim outdoors in the warm pool. Breakfast was delicious, but dinners were over priced and nothing special. This is an excellent resort - the dining, the spa and the resort are lovely. It is a bit of a drive to the central shopping area on Pender but other than that, it is truly lovely. A wonderful getaway.

Google earth led us in the wrong direction completely . Stated that the hotel was 5 mins from the ferry at Otter Cove . It took an hour to find the hotel.We subsequently discovered from Reception that this is because Google list all the staff accommodation (4 houses apparently) as Poet's Cove. I wonder why the management don't get this corrected. We […] chose to eat dinner in the bar. It was very noisy. The level of sound from the piped music was excessive and a party of 7 ladies who had obviously over -imbibed were all shouting at each other over the music. The staff did not seem to have a policy to deal with this and actually made the music louder in an attempt to drown it out. For our main course we ordered the "special" and were presented with something entirely different . The waitress' explanation was that ' the chef had run out". It would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to make a fresh selection. We had breakfast in the restaurant -good ambience ,nice views but do I really need lettuce under my poached egg? 詳情
