My husband & I stayed last weekend at the Inn at Sonoma. It was lovely light filled space with beautifully appointed rooms, a large fireplace & patio, a nightly wine hour and a delicious, home made breakfast. Ooh... and the freshly baked cookies that were available morning, noon & night... We walked one block to town for shopping, wine tasting & great […] restaurants. Sonoma is much more quaint than Napa, and frankly, if you desire to visit both Napa and Sonoma, this is the hotel for you! Not only is it reasonably priced, the quality of the Inn is beautiful. It was a very nice place with a hot breakfast and fresh baked goods for breakfast. A short walk to the town center and tons of restaurants and bars. The front desk closes at 8 so that was a bit odd so if you are going to arrive after 8 be sure to call for arrangements to check in. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. Some colleagues and I spent a day in Sonoma before our work in SF, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Sonoma. It's located on the main road, very convenient for walking to restaurants and shops. The rooms are pretty, each with a fireplace, and the breakfast is terrific. The Inn at Sonoma is located about one block from the historic and attractive Plaza (town square). Surrounding the square are a number of fine restaurants, a fabulous bakery, cheese shops, a theater, a number of shops and the ubiquitous winery tasting rooms. A Spanish colonial mission and barracks are preserved as state historic sites. The Jack London […] State Park is in nearby Glen Ellen for your hiking and educational pleasure. The Inn is a comfortably sized smaller hotel with immaculately clean rooms. Each room has a private balcony. The Inn is not new with the latest updated trend du jour features but more like an established hotel that has been very well maintained and comfortably and tastefully appointed. The breakfast buffet is an anticipated focus with freshly made quiche or fritatas, fruit, toasting breads and cereals, and, on several occassions, freshly made pancakes. The evening features a complimentary wine, cheese and fruit buffet. The Inn at Sonoma is not pretentious. It is genuinely attractive and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful and gracious. From the start this hotel was very welcoming. Homemade cookies greet you as you come in. The staff was very friendly and helpful--giving a personal orientation to the hotel and where things are located and how they are accessed. The room was immaculate and welcoming--even had our name listed on the welcome card in the room. Evening wine, cheese, crackers […] and vegetables were served 4:30-6, and a wonderful breakfast was served cafeteria-style. Over-all a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the Sonoma area. (Note: the drive to the hotel is immediately beside the Shell Gas station. Could be easily missed. This was a gem of a find. It is a quaint & small hotel centrally located to the Sonoma Plaza (the heart of Sonoma). The room was lovely with an electric fireplace, a large and comfy bed, well decorated, and with a balcony although the view from the balcony isn't of anything beautiful or spectacular but at least you can sit outside on a nice day when […] you don't feel like going anywhere. The Hopmonk Tavern is practically across the street where you can find some craft beers and good food. This is a great location. If you want to walk to dinner there are more than enough places to walk to in a safe neighborhood. If you are a runner or walker your can't beat the location. The staff has to be the nicest most friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast is always good . And ,10 minutes before its over they are still replenishing. This cozy inn is the perfect place to stay in Sonoma! It is just steps from the square where there are tons of shops, restaurants and cafes to explore and a short drive to beautiful wineries. We had a great time at the Inn at Sonoma. The proximity to the plaza is great, just about a block away. It is on a busy street, but is set back enough that you don't hear any traffic or anything. My wife and I were looking for a winter get away, and decided to head to Sonoma and Napa Valley. We picked this hotel based on the reviews, and everything was just as we'd expected. The location is great: just 2 blocks from Sonoma Plaza. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very nice. We did have a couple of complaints: (1) our bathtub drained very slowly, and it's never pleasant to stand ankle deep in shower water, (2) the jacuzzi/hot tub on the roof did not look very clean and was quite small, and (3) the AC/heating system […] was a big problem. When the system was turned off, the room became very stuffy, but when the AC was turned on, the system was VERY loud and kept me awake, plus I think it was broken because unlike every other thermostat I've ever seen, this did not have an "up" and "down" button with degrees on it. Neither my companion nor I could figure it out. The upshot was that neither of us got much sleep, alternating being hot, cold, and unable to sleep because of the noise. Overall, I was a bit disappointed because I'd heard great things about Joie de Vivre hotels. Not sure I'd go back considering the many choices of lodging in Sonoma. 詳情

Walking distance to Sonoma Square. We enjoyed a beautiful evening

Perfect for visit to wine country and first time B & B users. Great breakfast,and wine and cheese in the afternoon. Short walk to downtown Sonoma, can't wait to visit again.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel is well situated. A short walk to the plaza but away from street or plaza noise. Breakfast was yummy. Wine tasting was enjoyable.

Breakfast is to die for; the hot tub/sun deck was a nice touch and the rooms were very comfortable

I'm not much of a B&B type, so was nervous of our stay here. I was surprised at the private, comfortable quality!
