Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas South - 拉斯維加斯

Can't believe that "pet friendly" means we charge you an additional $100 a night if you have a small pet. Seems like it should say something on Hotels.com to make you aware of this charge.

Reasonable rates even on the weekends, very clean rooms, I took full advantage of the kitchen. Conveniently located close to the strip, a $5 cab ride.

Place is very conveniently located and ambiance is more than we expected. Able to rest, not worrying from noise and impersonal treatment of staff. Place to stay and still enjoy LV.

We stayed at the Courtyard, the Hampton Inn and now Residence Inn all on the same street across the freeway from the strip. Residence was in the worst condition, the first floor smells like a retirement home (muggy pee smell the entire stay). Breakfast was free but quality was poor. Nice shuttle service every half hour, big lobby. Rooms were very spacious […] and had all the comforts you could want except no King size beds. However, everything was aged and it showed. We were happy with the hyetel it was very clean and the breakfast and evening meal were excellent. we had our grandchildren with us and it was nice that they could have thier own room. We would stay here agayn

Air conditioning was noisy, but clean and comfortable.

This was a very vanilla place. The evening reception was not good - watery guacamole, limp lettuce, etc. but the breakfast was good. I room faced the road and power plant so I was not pleased. Be careful if traveling with pets, they charge a $100 non-refundable fee which is not obvious when initially booking.

When I made the reservation it said pet allowed. I was very surprised when I arrived and was told I had to pay an additional $100 fee (non-refundable) to have my small dogs in the room with me. When I went back to look at my reservation I had to dig into the 3rd screen to find that a pet fee was involved in their pet friendly claim. Enjoyed the tennis court and pool. The breakfast was better than your standard continental beakfast. The room felt like a little appartment. I was suprised to see a FULL sized fridge. Also pleasently suprised by the shuttle that takes you for FREE to MGM which is a great location to catch a taxi or bus.
