The hotel is a typical seaside hotel catering for holiday makers and families. The staff were great could not do enough to help. The public areas are really nice and look like they have been recently updated, breaksfast was brilliant lots of choice and excellent quality. We were given a room at the back of the hotel initially and to say it was smll […] was an understatement there was brely enough room to get past the endof the bed but we spoke toreception who could not move us the first night of our stay but moved us to a sea view room for the second and third nights which was great fantastic views. Perfect hotel for a short break, the staff really friendly and helpful. Only slight thing that could be improved was the bed was a small double (very cozy)!

Me and My girlfriend wanted a weekend break before i joined the army so we went online and booked a hotel, this hotel, we found it was resonably priced and we ordered Bed and breakfast service for two mornings for only a little extra. Upon arrival the staff were kind and helped us, although we had to find our own room. In the room we found it "cosy" […] it wasnt too big nor too small and it had a seperate bathroom so that was good as we didnt get condensation on the windows etc. We had a nice nap then a warm bath and then we went out for dinner to a indian resturant called little india and then came back and went to sleep. In the morning we went to breakfast and were greeted by some very friendly staff and a gorgeous breakfast. The room service came around 11am and replenished our milk coffe tea etc (which was all free) and tidyed the room and we then went out in to town, and found loads of things to do, we came back and changed and went out to dinner to a resuturant called Days which was recommened to us by the staff and it was all you can eat chinese NOM NOOMM, we came back after dinner and got our heads down on our comfy double bed. In the morning it was a similar expierence greeted by friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. We then went back to our room packed and left before the 11am out time, we left our bags with the hotel as we wanted to go into town a final time. Overall i would rate our expierience Very Good and the staff were Very Friendly and helpful i would definatly stay there again :) Book now its quality. 詳情

After reading many reviews we were a bit concerned however on arrival we were pleasantly suprised. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but is clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely and helpful and we were upgraded on arrival to a sea view room at no extra cost. we had a panoramic view of the sea from our bed which was beautiful.We used the indoor […] pool of the sister hotel which was really warm and nice.About a mile walk into town but it is a nice walk.I would definitely stay here again and for the price we paid it was a bargain! 詳情

The hotel staff are extremely happy and provide an outstandingly pleasant service, I am well travelled and I have not come across this level of happy smiling people before, it was a pleasure to be there. staff very nice and hitel very clean , we had a lovely sea view out of our shoe box window. Only thing that the parking was a complete joke ! not enough spaces for the amount of guests.

Good Rates, Friendly staff, very well kept public areas. The room was small and needs to be updated, the mattress was not very uncomfortable (lumpy) I would stay there again but try the bed before settling on the room. Fantastic views from the front but not good at the side or back. Breakfast was good with a wide selection.

A dated hotel in a ideal spot,the showers in more than one room,go from normal to cold only to hot only!,if you get it on some sort of promotion then its ok,full price you'd be disappointed

It was a good night sleep and what a wonderful view as we walked out the hotel door and could see the sea!! very good price.

We had an extremely good 3 days last weekend at this Hotel. Room was fine, Staff were so friendly and efficient, Food was excellent. Will definitely be going again and recommending it to friends.

Apart from location not much to recommend. Very noisy. Emptying bottles into bins at 1am not appreciated. Guests returning from bar past 1 not hotels fault but not the place to go if this bothers you. Or you need to sleep and wake rested. Usual lousy pillows and sting on tea supplies.

The room was small and slightly jaded but the location of the hotel is amazing. Three minute walk down cliff path to beautiful beach and you can use the facilities of the two other hotels which is a bonus. Overall extremely good value for money.

I liked the position of the hotel, it's close to the sea and not far from the city centre. Couple of issues really annoyed me in this hotel. First I have had no telephone or internet connection in my phone, I felt like I am isolated when I was in. I was looking for a place to eat on the first day I arrived, and reception ushered me to Cumberland Hotel […] as a sister hotel; when I sat and ordered I have been asked to pay in advance for "security reasons"!!!! ; I have been told by some when I returned to London that this happened to Black people before in Bournemouth; so backward and not civilised at all, so dark skinned people watch out. I decided to abandon the hotels' facilities and hit the town, I loved Charminster Road which is packed with some good places to dine and spent some good time. I was driving, but I noticed that buses are not that good, so prepare yourself for taxi rides if you are going to visit places at night. Just to add salt to injury, I have been met with suspicion the last day I was at the hotel from the breakfast room attendant - Lopez - who ticked my name on the rooms' list and so loudly asked me how I will pay! when I finished and left the breakfast room he didn't notice that I left and he came running up to reception in a very strange way. 詳情

Arrived at the Cliffeside, parked the car, to find I had been moved to the Cumberland Hotel which was irritating for 2 minutes only as I learned it was only a 1 minute walk and, frankly, a lovely hotel. At the Cumberland they put me in a single room which had a dodgy plug socket - but moved me to another room with no questions which was very comfortable. […] Hotel bar is very art deco in style. Sat and had a drink by the outdoor pool. Really, a very nice hotel. Never stayed before but will certainly be coming back. good wifi connection in bar area. One downside - oh dear - they still charge you for using wifi in the room. SO not today. Come on. get hat right and all would be perfect !! 詳情

Staff were very good and friendly but the hotel and food need some help

The hotel description shows free wifi, but they have a hotspot you have to pay for. That's false advertising. It's only a few quid to get online for the night or whatever, but it's just a pain in the butt and makes a business trip that bit harder. Other than that, no problems. Reasonably typical hotel of the region.

Very comfortable room, decor a little tired looking. Bathroom looked newly refurbished - beautiful! Restaurant food lovely.

A very comfortable middle of the range hotel. Very helpful staff; good quality food in the restaurant. Satellite TV would have been good as would a better positioning of plugs for dryers etc. However for the price good value for money and would recommend to others for its convenient location and general ambience.

Lovely hotel, very clean. The room was fairly basic but bathroom was new and very impressive. I was very impressed with the hotel for what was a very reasonable room rate. The outdoor swimming pool will be lovely in the summer, although we unfortunately didn't get to use it as the weather wasn't great. We did use the indoor swimming pool at the sister […] hotel next door - this was lovely, clean and very convenient. Pretty much opposite the East Cliff lift so very convenient for the beach, although a 10 min walk from the main beach attractions and 15 min walk to the town centre. Quiet area. Hote looked great on the web great price ect, checked in staff were uninterested and looked bored. When I got to te room it had stained sheets, was filthy, and smelt awful. There was a lovely view of overflowing bins from he window. I went cmplin and the staff expected my complaint. I wa upgraded to the hotel next door the Suncliffe and had a geat stay […] the staff were very kind and helpful our room had a full seaview and was spotless. The location of tese hotels is great 5 mins into town walking so thats great they also have free parking. I wuld recommend the Sunciffe hotel but regretably not the Cliffeside, if anyone has seen the film Hostel, then tey would understand why! 詳情

Would not stay at this hotel again, they try to make out its something special, it is not.

I only stayed one night.The hotel is well situated between bournemouth and boscombe piers on the cliifftop.Terrific location with superb views.The hotel is a bit old with regards to decor,but very friendly staff . I would recommend staying for a night or two,but there are nicer places but not as cheap.Overall cheap and cheerful.

The Cliffside isn't the Ritz but then you get what you pay for. Our room had a seaview and was spotlessly clean although the decor was a little 'tired'. The staff were friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is very good, overlooking the beach and only a short walk from the centre of town. The dinner menu is varied and good value and breakfast […] is more than adequate. Guests can use the facilities of the 2 sister hotels next door so an indoor pool, evening entertainment, cocktail lounge and 2 further restaurants are available. The only downside is that on-site parking can be a problem as the car park is small but there is plenty of 'pay and display' parking opposite the hotel. My daughter and I enjoyed our seaside break and would happily return to this hotel. 詳情

The recpetionist was lovely, room was adequate but on a scorching summers day, the room had no air conditioning or even a fan!!! Far far too hot. Was lovely to sit out on the terrace overlooking the pool and sea with a drink from the bar, but coming back to the stuffy room was not something we looked forward to. FAR FAR TOO HOT!!!

Fin beliggenhet, nydelig frokost og vi fikk et stort fint rom med havutsikt, mer enn vi hadde forventet. Hjelpsomt personale på et hotell vi kan anbefale. God valutta for pengene.

Samen met m'n vrouw ben ik van mening dat dit hotel met een grotere lift en wat betere trappen(huis), er een stuk beter van zal worden. Wij hadden een twee persoons kamer (te klein) het twee persoons bed kon je er maar van een kant in. De TV is met een binnenatenne en vol storingen. De douche is te klein en de naden met schimmel. Er is geen ruimte voor […] je toilettas te plaatsen en geen haken voor b.v. je badjas. Het ontbijt is goed al was er soms geen croissants en yoghurt. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is te doen als je niet al te hoge eisen stelt aan een hotel. 詳情

Super kompromiss, wenn man für wenig Geld trotzdem in netter Lage am Meer nächtigen will. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und flexibel. Die Räumlichkeiten etwas abgewohnt aber sauber.

beliggenheden var rigtig fin tæt på havet. hotellet var ret nedslidt. morgenmaden var den dårligste på de 5 hoteller vi boede på. vi havde betalt ekstra for havudsigt. vi fik først et værelse med baggårdsudsigt, og måtte selv slæbe kufferter rundt på hotellet for at få anvist det bestilte værelse. der var havudsigt af et lille vindue, og værelset var […] så lille at det var svært at komme rundt. 詳情
