Having booked a budget room we were slightly surprised by the 'tiredness' of the accomodation, but once we had settled in we soon got use to it. A beautiful setting, but poor maintenance and almost non existing service.

Spend a couple of days at this relaxing place beginning of november 2011. Easy check-in and a small issue with the room was quickly fixed by the staff. Relaxing atmosphere and nice little pool close by. Good restaurant, they know what espresso is ***, but some of the tables outside could use a bit more light (or use the Maglite you have in your pocket […] needed when returning to your room/house in the dark). 詳情

Das Ferntree Rainforest Hotel besteht aus einem Hauptgebäude mit Reception, Lounge, Gästeküche etc. Die "Zimmer" sind kleine Häuser auf dem Gelände. Wir hatten eine Gartenlodge gebucht, ein Familienzimmer, im Hauptraum mit Doppelbett und im offenen Giebel, der über eine schmale Treppe zu erreichen ist, 2 Einzelbetten. Vor der Lodge befindet sich ein […] kleiner, gedeckter privater Sitzplatz. Die einzelenen Lodges passen sich durch Farbe und Bauweise perfekt in die Umgebung ein, man schläft mit den Geräuschen des Dschungels ein und wacht mit ihnen wieder auf. Wir waren begeistert. Zum Ferntree Rainforest gehört noch das Cassowarrie Café, dass morgens ein ausreichendes Frühstück bietet und abends mit leckeren Gerichten aufwartet. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Strand in und um Cape Tribulation sind zu Fuss zu erreichen. 詳情
