5 mins walk to Train station, room is not small and clean with free but very good breakfast (in other hotels, the breakfast at least cost 10 euro per person). Very reasonable price and will consider stay there next time in Nice

Room small but clean & comfortable. It looked onto a courtyard, so no traffic noise but outside air conditioning units were rather noisy. Luggage could be left securely during the day. It was about 200m to the airport bus stop. Breakfast was rather basic with no fresh fruit or cold meats.

very small room, excellent breakfast, staff was great except for lady on duty when we arrived fri. morn 5/31, she was rude to my wife and generally unfriendly. 15 walk to beach was good. one block from train station puts this hotel in poor location, but walk two blocks south and neighborhood improves.

The hotel was very easy to find from the railway station and only about 15 mins by bus from the airport. Staff were all very friendly but Norbert was exceptionally helpful and friendly! Great location (only 1 min walk to the train station and direct bus link from/to the airport). Takes approx 20 mins to walk to the main area of Nice. The room was clean and convenient and the breakfast was good as well.

Old hotel in Nice near the railway station. Booked this hotel because it was on the bus route to the airport which we were travelling from the next day. Hotel was well situated for us close to the main rail station (100m) which had a direct bus link to the airport (bus 99) which meant we came out of the airport, got on a bus and got dropped 100m from the hotel. Being so close to the rail station we were easily able to explore Monaco and Cannes which are both only about 30 minutes away. Tram at the end […] of the road if you do not like walking, but only 15 minutes down to the old town anyway. Not the hotel to stay in if you want a nice view or want to be in the centre or in the old town, mainly for sleeping and as a base to start and finish your day. Continental breakfast was included in our price. Staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpfull. Compfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities in the room along with fridge. We caught the train from Paris and this hotel is just a short walk across the road from the train station so it was very handy. Room was a bit on the small side and we had a problem with the hot water on the first morning whiich they had fixed very quickly. They provide a free breakfast and a packed lunch if you require it which was great.

I didn't love or hate this hotel. I had intended to stay only in Nice to go to Monaco via train, but it was clear the hotel wasn't aware of the schedule times and halfheartedly told me that they knew for sure the train ran every half an hour. Hotel very good overall. Very central, 5 min from train station and ten minutes or less from stores and restaurants. However the Promenaide de l'Anglais is a good 20-25 min walk. FYI. And I am a fast walker. Staff was very very helpful and help me plan my stay of 9 days. Simply the best value you'll find, ever! Staff were wonderful, very welcoming and whilst the rooms are compact and the area is typical "transit" territory being near the station the hotel was faultless - good breakfast AND a worthwhile lunch pack with sandwich, fruit, drink and crisp. Excellent.

This hotel was made all the better due to the staff of the hotel. Helpful at all times. My only real criticism was the size of the room that was not obvious from the photos which I have no doubt made it more difficult to hoover. Other than that, book direct with the hotel, it will be cheaper.

The hotel was quite nice. The room was smaller than expected and although a suitcase stand was provided there was not much space to put it up. We only had one large towel in the room, and had to ring for a second one. (The tourist office rang for us, however.) We did appreciate the provided packed lunch. Excellent location opposite side of road to Nice main Railway station and a Multi Storey car park. We had a main road facing room with no noise disturbance at night. Excellent Services with nice room. Very close to the train station and town centre. It's just 20 mins train journey away from Monaco.For people who cannot afford the high hotel prices in Monte Carlo, this is absolutely value for money. Will come again in the future.

Yes, it is a little bit of a walk to the main area, but if you don't mind that (I didn't) then it is a great hotel (esp. for early morning trains out of Nice). But the neighborhood is dodgy and walking around at night wasn't the safest.

It's a decent budget hotels. Rooms are very small and the walls are very thin, and you have to walk for 10 minutes to get down to the beach and most popular restaurants. Slightly uncomfortable area at night, good if you're traveling by train.

Luckily we had two rooms at the hotel as our balcony door refused to open and despite asking a couple of times for it to be looked at it never did. The reception people were very friendly and helpfull, they gave good advices about dining, travel, train, etc., especially Norbert, he was really great and surprisingly speaking Hungarian, he was very helpfull. The hotel is on the good side of functional. Whilst the location is ideal for transportation, it is a 20 minute walk from the key attractions. The area is a little shabby/undesirable, but keeping to the busy main road at night was no extra bother. The service from staff was good, with most being multi-lingual for those with little French.
