Quiet hotel rooms, good restaurants, Resort atmosphere, but tailoring to Business Customers. I am a repeat customer.

We spent our vacation touring various towns in Costa Rica in the Pacific Side but wanted to make sure that we are close to the airport for our departure. Very, very nice first class hotel which is priced accordingly as one would expect. The on site restaurants are extremely expensive and not worth the price. Wine and not very good steaks for two were $178 USD. They are trying, but it just doesn't work, so have dinner elsewhere.

Having visited Costa Rica many times, I have seen a wide range of hotels. You can't go wrong with the Real Intercontinental. Located in Escazu (the Beverly Hills of Costa Rica), with a modern shopping mall within walking distance, you will be treated to fine dining, well-appointed rooms, and impeccable service. By the way, you can charge your $28 taxi fare and pay your departure tax at the hotel and charge it to your room. This is a very good hotel--just the older part is not 4.5 star is the only reason I didn't give it a 5. Still, a relaxing stay compared to other nearby places. Good location right across from a large shopping mall with some good food choices. We had a maintance issue with our tub and they fixed it right away. Great service.

Hotel near San Jose but difficult to find for out of towners. Great hotel facilities with 3 restaurants on site, great room and comfortable beds. When we got there the room wasn't ready, then they gave us a smoking room and it was not until the 3rd one that we got the room reserved, but it may have been our luck! room price was good good but anticipate alot of add ons as far as cost .maid service exceptionally poor.
