We found Villa Lara through websites and really didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, we were enthusiastically greeted by Nallo - who made us... feel very comfortable. Everyone was wonderful (thank you to Alex, Pietro and Nallo) and very helpful in recommending places to see and eat. Villa Lara is up the street from the main shops but definitely worth the walk (really, less than a five minute walk from the piazza)...it was quiet and peaceful and gives a local flavor to a tourist town. Every night we would sit on the balcony and watch the sky in a relaxing spot - away from the craziness of the square. We would recommend to ANYONE who asked for a place to stay.
