The Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa was amazing! From the time we arrived until check out the staff was friendly and accommodating. was told 500 yards from convention center it was 3 miles away. eztra charges added on not told on phone. they should be upfront on all cost.

The hotel was very nice. Traffic was not so nice. You have to make a lot of you turns to get where your going and it's very busy!

Every thing was Great at Westgate

We only stayed here for a weekend and we don't have small children. But found the room to be of ample size and very comfortable. The screened inarching was great and it overlooked a lake. Easy to get to I-4. Several restaurants with room delivery made it very convenient.

I got this hotel at a very low price and I honestly expected the images online not to match the actual room at all. To my surprise the rooms were VERY nice and exactly how it was displayed online.

Watch out for the hidden fees; ie, parking is $11 a night. The good rate I received from Hotels.com was swallowed up by the fees and inconveniences of this resort. Check-in is a long, arduous procedure. Their real purpose is to try to sell you a unit as a time-share. Resort too big and room too small.

Stay away. Far away. Hotels.com had a 4 star guest rating, but in reality this place is a 4,000 room nightmare built in 1984. Rooms do not seem to be updated since then. one point - although severely dated, the room was generally clean. The bedspread and threadbare sheets were clean, but probably 30 yrs old. The room was hot and musty. There is NO Parking! […] Had to park 4 buildings over and jockey for the only remaining spot, and walk through parking areas with "questionable activities" taking place. Seems like a gang hangout. I was worried my car would be broken into all night. They hit you with a $11 "resort fee" that is BARELY listed on the Hotels.com (fine print, ok...not cool) this is unacceptable. The very worst part is the staff - Check in is a frustrating cluster. It took 30 mins to check in. The staff was nice but clueless. The buldings are hard to navigate to. This place is 1* at best. Rooms were very clean, bed comfortable, plenty of pillows and great location. The resort seemed to have everything you might need on site - groceries, photo shop, restaurant, deli shop, bikes to rent, volleyball, pools and game room. This is a time share and you are pressured to sit through a 90 minute sales pitch if you stay here. There was nothing that mentioned this when I made the reservation.

We had an emergency and needed a hotel room at 11:00 at night and westgate's employees were extremely helpful

No shuttle to convention center even though we were told there was. Unexpected resort fees even though we werent using them, but they charged us anyway. Website says it is less than a mile to the convention cener but didnt say it was by going across an interstate with no access, so had to go 4 miles to get there. You can hear every noise in the halls and only one gate to enter late. Traffic backs up. Bedrooms don't get dark and the couch is more comfortable then the bed.

This was the best hotel i have ever stayed in. The service was outstanding and customer service was wonderful. Your staff was very helpful in every way. I strongly recommend your hotel to everyone i know. Thank you for everything. I must visit again.

Yes the resort was a little out dated with the furniture but everything was is good condition and good working order. When you arrive remember this is a resort (time share) not a hotel, you will accure a ammenity fee, this fee is to keep up the extras like paddle boats, tennis courts, and miniture golf course that you are able to use for free because […] of paying the fee . But all the staff were at your disposal to make this stay most comfortable. They have free shuttle service to local attractions if that is what your here for. You will enjoy yourself here. 詳情

The hotel was very nice. The check out time was too early. I paid for a room over the phone, which I had my hopes set on. Once I got to the room, it was not the room I thought I was paying for. I had to settle for a lesser quality room.

I was attending a convention; the convention center was very close but you CANNOT walk there and cab took 15 minutes because of freeway set up...weak but the price made up for that. Room was fine, MUCH more room than i needed (not to mention full kitchen washing machine, microwave, etc.). Great for families, wasted on me. Comfortable and clean, good […] value. Negative is how spread out the resort is...there are 9-11 different buildings, it's like a small town. Pools are not nearby many (my) unit. Hotel was beautiful, and room was nice. I was supposed to get a Jacuzzi room and didn't, that was a bummer. It took a half hour for check in when I did everything online prior to my arrival. We called for the front desk to get us a cab they said 15 minutes 45 minutes later we got a shuttle to the front and four cabs were just sitting there. This hotel is SO big that you have to get a shuttle bus just to get to the restaurant = annoying This hotel IS NOT 0.6 miles from the Convention Center as advertised. That is using GPS maps assuming a direct road to the cc. I thought I could walk. Instead it's a $15 cab ride each way b/c there's a highway in between! Excellent place to stay. Checkin a little long because not traditional hotel.

We went to Orlando for my daughters birthday and brought freinds with their children, also. It was the only place able to accomodate 13 of us. 6 adults and 7 children in one 3 bedroom condo type room w/ full kitchen and 1 large jacuzzi in one king room and a single jacuzzi n the 2nd king room and the 3rd bedroom had two full size beds. There was a nice […] big balcony off The living room and the one bedroom. We did not really get to enjoy the ammeneties as much because we went to universal studios. The only down sides for me was we went in an Rv and the security guards at the front were not friendly or helpful or understanding. This is a very nice property and the unts are in very good condition. You can find just about everything onsite or pretty close by. My only gripes would be that the TV was an old model and did not have the best picture quality. My remote batterys were weak and would work sporadicly. Stayed with a three friends for Halloween horror nights and found it so Convenient. Restaurants where five minutes away and So was te park. Great room and service was fantastic. Two thumbs up for me!

I had bugs in the bath tub so I did not use it Just took a shower and the toilet had pubic hair on it before we ever used the bathroom wich means the bathroom was not cleaned after the last guest :(
