We were impressed with the efficient check-in and the type of accommodation. The pool area is very large and there are activities almost everyday for any size of family. It is only a short drive to any attraction or you can go on the free shuttle. It has specific drop off and pick up times. You only need to reserve at no cost. I reserved the room for the weekend and had tickets bought for the Christmas parade at magic kingdom. When we got to the hotel they could not find our reservation and after an hour they finally called hotel.com and they said they forgot to fax the paperwork even though we were sent an email confirmation that everything was taken care of and that there […] is no need to call and confirm and that the email was confirmation enough. We ended up missing the Christmas parade because the time wasted just trying to check in. Tickets for magic kingdom that night was almost sixty dollars a person and we had four people checking in that night. I paid for housekeeping at extra cost per days(6 days bookings), but need to ask for new towels every days. No towels at all in my room and got them at almosr 10 P.M. at night. to take a shower. We stayed at this property for one night. We paid a very competitive price for the night for a 2bdrm villa. The villa seemed very old but it was clean. I don't think I would stay here again, it was just not a nice place. The only perk was that it was spacious for a large family. We asked to be moved to another room... It was so filthy and dirty that it was hard to believe someone cleaned it ever. Besides the poor maintenance, the bedding is Florida's most uncomfortable, totally outdated. I believe those mattresses were at least 20 years old, expired with rusty springs. ac was not working,beds were uncofortable

Overall was a nice place just needed a kitchen remodel. Stayed here during 4 nights during Thanksgiving week while my family and I went to the Disney parks. Close to shopping, Wal Mart and Super Target are right down the street. Several fast food restaurants near by also. About a 15 min drive to the Disney Parks. I emailed the manager and said that I read bad reviews about the resort and I wanted the cleanest and most updated room available. He email me back and assured me that I would have a clean nice smelling room. When I arrived and checked in they told me that my room was upgraded to "The Savannah" at no extra charge.The Savannah is a larger nicer unit right next to the pool. It has vaulted ceilings and a loft bedroom upstairs with a balcony. I stayed in building 1 on the 2nd floor so if you stay here request building 1 which is pool front. The other buildings on the back of the lake look older and run down so make sure you request a Savannah room. Our room was clean when I arrived, the living room furniture was clean. The pillows on the bed were small and hard and the mattress was a little firm as well but not too bad. My two small kids slept on the pull out sofa downstairs. I was happy to see that I did not see any bugs anywhere and the place smelled clean. The shower head leaked and the water pressure was weak. I had to hold down the leaver on the toilet to get it to flush. The water had a funny smell and taste to it but that is Florida water for ya. The bathroom was large and had a nice large walk in closet off the bathroom. The kitchen appliances were from the 1980's and need to be replaced but all worked. We did not use the washer and dryer but they looked clean. We did not use the pool but it is very nice and there is a poolside bar. It was a great little place the cleaning staff should learn to knock better but my stay was great.

Enjoyed the stay. We had a small mishap and the management took care of everything very quickly and were very caring. I would highly recommend this condo. The rooms and furnishings were a little dated, but clean.

The bed sheet were dirty & have some kind of bugs on it, we could not slept even thought the mang send us clean sheet like n hour later after we requested themL my fiancé have to do the bed because there was no nobody available at 11 pm to do it! After it the mouse of walking people on top of the bedroom was a nightmare! Never again will go there!

This is was suppose to be the vacation of a life time. We waited 13 years for this vacation. We arrrive at 2 p.m. after driving 430 miles to get here. We waited 2 hours to get put into are vacation villa that was a 800 sq. ft. apartment. No outside light. The location was in the middle of little cuba. I didn't feel stay leaving my family here. When we booked the place, we were excited to have two bedrooms and a kitchen. When we got there, we were disapointed in the maintenance of the place. It's not horrible, but its not great either. It did not feel like the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The layout, space and price were the saving graces, and it is close to Disney World.

Roaches, Black flies coming out of the sink, no room service, rude customer service, very hard mattress...need i say more!

I imagine this place had it's heyday in 1990 - doesn't look like it's been updated since. The room was comfortable and clean but a little dingy and banged up. We got a non-smoking room, but it definitely had the stink of a room that had once been a smoking room - my wife is asthmatic and it gave her some trouble. All in all, a pretty inexpensive and relatively convenient place for a last-minute trip, but I wouldn't go out of my way to book it for an extended family vacation. 詳情

Kitchen needed an update ,but besides that this place was great .Close to everything 2 pools and a hut tub .nice lake on property next time i will stay longer

The rooms are spacious and for the price, not bad. However the beds and bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned. There was hair and boogers in the bed (gross!). The dishes didn't seem clean so some we didn't use and the rest we washed before using. The pools were decent sized, but outdated and could use some touch up work. The hotel was in a beautiful setting. The rooms were clean and ideal for a family stay. I would recommend exterminating the rooms on a more frequent basis, since some of the rooms we reserved had a few ants and roaches. This can obviously have a negative impact on the quality of the resort.

The apartment was outdated and very uncomfortable pillows. The sink and bath tub kept clogging up.

I am very pleased with our stay at this hotel, it was very quiet, clean, comfortable, close to the parks, and had everything we needed such as kitchen supplies, etc.

We only stayed 1 night passing through, we wished we would have stayed 2 or 3, spacious 2 bedroom villa, very comfortable for the six of us. We really liked the Tiki Bar by the pool, we wished it would stay open later, we liked sitting out there at night. No surprise charges or extra fees, the price we paid to Hotels.com was the total.

Very comfortable hotel. Makes you feel right at home. The feel is definitely not one of a hotel, but a home away from home. The privacy is remarkable. My 2nd time staying at the oak plantation resort. But I'll continue to stay there each time I visit orlando.

the equipment in excersizing room, and fitted sheets need changing

This was our second stay @ Oak Plantation in the last 3 years. Our previous stay was great besides some ants in the kitchen. No big deal. The pools were beautiful and the 2 adults and 2 kids had a great time. This time the pools were just as great. The "Dive-In" movie where you watch a movie in the pool or pool area was also great. The kids and I had […] a great time. Now the problem. I noticed ants in the bathroom around the sink area. Why are there ants in the bathroom? While cleaning up a spill in the kitchen, I picked up a dead roach. That wasn't so bad. One night returning from a theme park, my wife noticed a pretty big roach (2 inches long) on the ceiling in the bedroom. I didn't have bug spray so I tried spraying with bug repellent. It started flying at me and seemed to disappear. I looked around for a few seconds, then my wife and kids started screaming "It's on you!!!" I started looking around my body and then they scream "It's on your neck!!!" I looked in the mirror and see it crawling on my neck and I flicked it off with my hand. I tried to pick it up with a paper towel while trying to crush it, but it started to crawl out of the paper towel. I dropped the paper towel in near the bathroom and when I went to pick the roach up again, I couldn't find it. The next morning I was helping my 3 year old daughter go to the bathroom and I see a roach on the floor on it's back. I tried stopping her from stepping on the roach but it was too late. She stepped near it's legs and they started moving and grabbing at her toes. She started screaming and ran out of the bathroom. I was able to pick the roach up with a tissue and flush it down the toilet. Then we noticed another dead roach in the living room. We were able to get switched to another room which was right next to the pool, really nice. I walk into the kitchen and the first thing I see is a dead roach on the floor. This time the ants were limited to the living room couch, but after a day there were so many that I ref 詳情

At first we were not very pleased because within 20 minutes after our arrival to the room, we killed three roaches crawling on the walls. After calling customer service, they transfered us the next day to another room in better condition We really needed to let the rooms get some air ,the smell we felt in both rooms was not very inviting. Resort has lost alittle of it's luster but overall still a great place to stay and with a living room and full kitchen in all rooms a much better choice that a hotel

The room was ok, it was an apartment, but as soon as i arrived i saw the bathroom really dirty, hairs everywhere and the wc awful. We didn't go in the end but he made us feel very uneasy and told us it was part of our booking and package which it wasn't. We fell for it as rang and said they wanted to drop off a welcome gift and do a quick questionnaire which we didn't receive and didn't complete the questionnaire. We did not even stay the whole night. The place was roach infested. We checked in at 4p and were not comfortable to stay the night we left at 12 am. We did not enjoy.

My family and I highly recommend this Hotel. It is convinient to all attractions, stores, restaurants, etc.

Upon check in, the front desk wrote down my credit card information on a sheet of paper, when I asked for them to shred it they looked at me in shock! So the only thing they would do was let me black it out with a black marker! The hotel wasn't the cleanest but I was mostly interested in a place to sleep so it met my needs and I wasn't going to say […] anything until I pulled back my sheets and saw hair and what looked to have been dead skin on them as well! We had to wait over and hour and a half before we received all the correct bedding for our room. (Everything they brought was the incorrect size) Slept fine and then once I woke up I had noticed I had a few bite marks on me... about 20 minutes later I found that there were fleas in the room! That was my last straw so I called the front desk and they refunded us our money and we found another place to stay. But that took an entire day outta appointments we had that day! I was glad that we were refunded our money, but I wished that the staff and management had more consideration. They honestly acted it didn't matter to them or their budget if we stayed or they refunded us, which brought me the most dissatisfaction. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't have stayed there another night, but to not even care about your guest means that they don't care about the quality of their own resort and that definitely showed in the ENTIRE quality of our stay. 詳情
