Roaches, Black flies coming out of the sink, no room service, rude customer service, very hard mattress...need i say more!

I imagine this place had it's heyday in 1990 - doesn't look like it's been updated since. The room was comfortable and clean but a little dingy and banged up. We got a non-smoking room, but it definitely had the stink of a room that had once been a smoking room - my wife is asthmatic and it gave her some trouble. Kitchen needed an update ,but besides that this place was great .Close to everything 2 pools and a hut tub .nice lake on property next time i will stay longer

the first room they gave me the bathroom cabinet was falling apart, they gave me another room, there was hair on bathroom floor, the room had a bad odor, the television and appliances were dated back to the 1980 era, there is VCR in the room, who watch movies on VHS? you have a option when booking to have someone clean your room, we took that option. […] they came to the room, did not bring any clean towels, did not replenish toilet paper, did not vacuum carpet or mop bathroom floors. 詳情

The rooms are spacious and for the price, not bad. However the beds and bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned. There was hair and boogers in the bed (gross!). The dishes didn't seem clean so some we didn't use and the rest we washed before using. The pools were decent sized, but outdated and could use some touch up work. The hotel was in a beautiful setting. The rooms were clean and ideal for a family stay. I would recommend exterminating the rooms on a more frequent basis, since some of the rooms we reserved had a few ants and roaches. This can obviously have a negative impact on the quality of the resort.

The apartment was outdated and very uncomfortable pillows. The sink and bath tub kept clogging up.

I am very pleased with our stay at this hotel, it was very quiet, clean, comfortable, close to the parks, and had everything we needed such as kitchen supplies, etc.

We only stayed 1 night passing through, we wished we would have stayed 2 or 3, spacious 2 bedroom villa, very comfortable for the six of us. We really liked the Tiki Bar by the pool, we wished it would stay open later, we liked sitting out there at night. No surprise charges or extra fees, the price we paid to Hotels.com was the total.

Very comfortable hotel. Makes you feel right at home. The feel is definitely not one of a hotel, but a home away from home. The privacy is remarkable. My 2nd time staying at the oak plantation resort. But I'll continue to stay there each time I visit orlando.

This was our second stay @ Oak Plantation in the last 3 years. Our previous stay was great besides some ants in the kitchen. No big deal. The pools were beautiful and the 2 adults and 2 kids had a great time. This time the pools were just as great. The "Dive-In" movie where you watch a movie in the pool or pool area was also great. The kids and I had […] a great time. Now the problem. I noticed ants in the bathroom around the sink area. Why are there ants in the bathroom? While cleaning up a spill in the kitchen, I picked up a dead roach. That wasn't so bad. One night returning from a theme park, my wife noticed a pretty big roach (2 inches long) on the ceiling in the bedroom. I didn't have bug spray so I tried spraying with bug repellent. It started flying at me and seemed to disappear. I looked around for a few seconds, then my wife and kids started screaming "It's on you!!!" I started looking around my body and then they scream "It's on your neck!!!" I looked in the mirror and see it crawling on my neck and I flicked it off with my hand. I tried to pick it up with a paper towel while trying to crush it, but it started to crawl out of the paper towel. I dropped the paper towel in near the bathroom and when I went to pick the roach up again, I couldn't find it. The next morning I was helping my 3 year old daughter go to the bathroom and I see a roach on the floor on it's back. I tried stopping her from stepping on the roach but it was too late. She stepped near it's legs and they started moving and grabbing at her toes. She started screaming and ran out of the bathroom. I was able to pick the roach up with a tissue and flush it down the toilet. Then we noticed another dead roach in the living room. We were able to get switched to another room which was right next to the pool, really nice. I walk into the kitchen and the first thing I see is a dead roach on the floor. At first we were not very pleased because within 20 minutes after our arrival to the room, we killed three roaches crawling on the walls. After calling customer service, they transfered us the next day to another room in better condition We really needed to let the rooms get some air ,the smell we felt in both rooms was not very inviting. Resort has lost alittle of it's luster but overall still a great place to stay and with a living room and full kitchen in all rooms a much better choice that a hotel

The room was ok, it was an apartment, but as soon as i arrived i saw the bathroom really dirty, hairs everywhere and the wc awful. This was a wonderful surprise .One of the nicest places on the strip.Really enjoyed the ducks and peacocks.Great and friendly people Daniel at the internet cafe was a real gentleman.

For the price it was Ok. But the hotel needs some maintenance. The room confortable but it had roaches, bathroom not very clean. the pool area also needs a litlle TLC because the place with some maintenance will be nice place to stay. Don'tt think I will stay again.i

Lovely villa's had downstairs with lounge/dinning/kitchen area and upstairs bedroom/bathroom. Very spacious, excellent distance from Disney only 15/20 minute drive. We didn't go in the end but he made us feel very uneasy and told us it was part of our booking and package which it wasn't. We fell for it as rang and said they wanted to drop off a welcome gift and do a quick questionnaire which we didn't receive and didn't complete the questionnaire. We did not even stay the whole night. The place was roach infested. We checked in at 4p and were not comfortable to stay the night we left at 12 am. We did not enjoy.

My family and I highly recommend this Hotel. It is convinient to all attractions, stores, restaurants, etc.

Upon check in, the front desk wrote down my credit card information on a sheet of paper, when I asked for them to shred it they looked at me in shock! So the only thing they would do was let me black it out with a black marker! The hotel wasn't the cleanest but I was mostly interested in a place to sleep so it met my needs and I wasn't going to say […] anything until I pulled back my sheets and saw hair and what looked to have been dead skin on them as well! We had to wait over and hour and a half before we received all the correct bedding for our room. (Everything they brought was the incorrect size) Slept fine and then once I woke up I had noticed I had a few bite marks on me... about 20 minutes later I found that there were fleas in the room! That was my last straw so I called the front desk and they refunded us our money and we found another place to stay. But that took an entire day outta appointments we had that day! I was glad that we were refunded our money, but I wished that the staff and management had more consideration. They honestly acted it didn't matter to them or their budget if we stayed or they refunded us, which brought me the most dissatisfaction. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't have stayed there another night, but to not even care about your guest means that they don't care about the quality of their own resort and that definitely showed in the ENTIRE quality of our stay. 詳情

This is a spider, cockroach and ant infested place. Oh and dont forget the bed bugs! The place looked nice until I pulled back the comforter. The sheets were filthy with what looked to be blood. I had to change to 3 different rooms until I eventually just checked out early as the conditions were unbearable. I pay for housekeeping for 5 days and they clean only 2 times. One day when we arrive the front door is open. I call the office but they dont do nothing.

There was not any internet available unless you went to the office and sat and used one of the 2 machines they have there for guests. This caused major problems -- Thought they had wireless so that we could use computer in room. That was a big NO GO for me. There were roaches in the room. You could tell that they had tried to take care of the problem […] - these were baby roaches and it needed to get treated again before they grow big enough to have babies. People were courteous and when we asked for towels we received them in short order. Overall a pleasant experieince with oersonnel. Just needs cleaning and pest control along with a little updating. We stayed at this hotel for the 1st night of our vacation and everything was fine, the room was clean, no problems. Then spent 2 weeks else where, but reserved this hotel for the last 2 night of our vacation. Well this is where it started, The 1st room we went into smelled really bad. I couldn't breath and I got a headache it was so bad. We tried to […] open the windows to try to air it out since we are pretty laidback people and don't like to complain. After a few hours went by the smell was still there so we asked for a different room, wish they gave us with no problems. This room smelled like smoke but it was much better than the last room, so once we moved everything into this room we noticed ants crawling up the wall. So ok it was ants no big deal, We went to go get some Febreeze and Raid, which took care of both problems for the time being. So later on we were watching tv and i saw something in the corner of my eye so I looked down and there was a lizard staring at me, so my husband picked it up and threw it outside. Yes there is a full kitchen in the room but I refused to make anything there since there were ants crawling all over the dishes and silverware. If you want strange memories of your vacation and like critters crawling on you then book this hotel. If you want to enjoy yourself then find another place since there much better places in the area for less money 詳情

This place is ridiculously filthy! I had to be moved to 3 different rooms. The first room had black mold and mildew in the bathroom. Spiders were all over the place (One bit me on the leg). The carpet was so dirty that my white socks were blackened. The sheets were filthy!!! They were stained with what looked to be blood and I would hate to guess what […] else. I called for a replacement and would you believe that those were in worse condition. I then was changed to a room that should be condemned based on the amount of black mold in the unit. The last room was a bit better but not by much. The sheets were clean but the ants and mold and broken washer and dryer cancelled any good things out. I could not consummate my marriage as the place gave me the heebygeebies. We checked out early and came home as I could no longer suffer the place. The staff tried their best to help me but admitted that the problem is out of control and there isnt much they could do besides offer me a complimentary stay. I would not allow my dog to stay at this place!!! We left and have checked into the Hard Rock Hotel which is AWESOME! Please take heed and do not go through with what I went through. I am going to the doctor on Monday to have my kneee looked at as it is still swollen and sore. This place needs to be closed before someone dies from the conditions. A small child could easily become ill or far worse. As I stated the mold and mildew and bed bugs make this place a gross and unacceptable. To add to it, the place is very outdated with old fashioned tv's and terrible smelling furniture. I can say that housekeeping is not a priority as the floors were nor swept or vacuumed and nothing seemed sanitized. I am so upset that my honeymoon was ruined. Closeness to shopping, dining and mall, the curb appeal, the initial outside appearnce of the building and grounds were good. I felt the staff was approachable, accomodating and friendly. For these reasons I give the resort a 2-1/2 rating. Our unit could use a better cleaning, the decor needs updating, the mattresses need replacing and the worn appliances […] need to be replaced. The door frame was broken on arrival and gave a first impression that maybe someone had broken into the unit while the privacy latch was in tact. Thow the initial impression of the resort was very good, those things mentioned in the first paragraph can never be exchanged for a person's feel of security, comfort and cleanliness. The bath tub was making noises, the wall outlets were not covered not good if you have a 2 year old, the stove caught fire and almost injured my wife, customer service was the worst I have experienced from a resort trying to sell a timeshare. Do not go here because you will regret it. These people are cold!

My family and I took a nice long weekend vacation and stayed at the resort there in Kissimmee. It was nice to have a room with a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and livingroom. I read all the reviews before going and was a little skeptical. This place is definately not a 5 star resort, so if that's what your looking for, than I don't recommend it for […] you. We are not picky. It was clean. Check in and check out were quick and easy. We had family and friends come and visit us at the resort with no problems. The pools were fun and the kids had a great time. Yes, there is a VHS in the room. So what, we brought our small DVD player for the room, which we used once. How often are you in the room watching movies anyways. We had plenty of towels, bedding, and great service from the staff. I would definately go back again and recommend to family and friends. 詳情

The room was missing 3 light bulbs when we arrived at night & could not see in the room. One lamp switch was broken but maintenance came with pliers to turn it oon. I had to find the housekeeping office to replenisdh tolilet paper, kleenex & housekeeping never came, they said that was extra not in our package! I would not stay here again. I paid for a two room villa and when we arrived they was sold out. We had to split the family because they offer two 1 bedroom villas.

A bit strange place. A mix between a hotel and a gated community. Pool area ok but the bar closed very early. The room was more like a big appartment but not cleaned very good. We found both baby socks and toys. The kids liked the cinema-arrangement. The information from the front desk regarding attractions and other could be improved.

The hotel was the best deal by far that I could find. Only thing is....it's definitely due for a renovation. Everything is old and outdated which I guess wouldnt be so bad if it was cleaner. Lots of spider webs everywhere, spiders in or bed, rust in the bathroom and geez the A/C is terribly loud.
