Although the hotel was under remodel I never heard noise or had any dust issues in my room. This is the first time I have stayed in this hotel, but I will definitely stay here again. It's under construction for rennovation of some of the rooms but overall, it is a very old building. No automatic doors (very inconvenient if you are carrying suitcases), slow elevators, and old TV. They do have wi-fi and airport transportation and it is close to the airport.

Convenient, but...huge renovations make for a "The Shining" look throughout the hotel. Reasonable rates, and hopefully worth a look after the renovations are complete.

I needed a safe place to stay near O'Hare Airport, as I was arriving at 1am and renting a car. This hotel was easy to find, and only about a mile or two from O'Hare and Thrifty rental car. I only stayed one night...as I was then driving to central Illinois to be with family...so for a short stay, it was perfect!!! We stay here everytime we are in Chicago awaiting an early morning flight. It is not the Hilton but the atmosphere there is so warm. We always arrive early and allowed an early check in. The staff is so friendly.

The restaurant associated with the hotel is, apparently, a bar. When we arrived at about 1 am after our flight from the West Coast, there were four clearly drunk people stumbling out of the restaurant and into the hotel lobby ahead of us. The clerk eyed them but turned his attention to us and did a good job helping us get into the room we had reserved. […] We had to walk through the bare corridor (subfloor exposed, etc.) to get to the elevator, but no problem. Then, at 3:50 am, there was a huge commotion in the parking lot outside our window. There were at least a dozen people, sounding like they had just left the bar, talking loudly about starting a fight. It went on for a while, voices getting louder, the participants seeming to ENJOY waking up the hotel patrons. Then, a yell of warning: "The cops!" What seemed like about seven police cars -- plus one ambulance -- descended on the scene. We heard a siren and more loud voices. The noise went on for quite a while, and it took even longer for our adrenaline to subside. It seemed like a great location to get some shut-eye after arriving late at O'Hare, but we'll drive to our actual destination next time. 詳情

This Hotel was not what we were expecting, it was worse. Breakfast starts at 7am so those who have to get to an early flight are left without eating. Our son develped a fever and we had to walk to a neighboring hotel to get medicine because it wasn't provided at Best Western. It was loud all night. Hotel is in total renovation! we had no idea.. should have been told to us. No compensation, breakfast isn't even on location. We got to the hotel after waiting 1 hour at T3 to take a cab (it was 9:30pm when we were waiting outside) and got to the hotel at 11pm. I even called the hotel! We stayed at the hotel for a few hours before our very early flight and when we arrived found that the entire bottom floor was under renovation. It was totally gutted down to the studs an covered in plastic. The entire hotel had a strange odor to it and was extremely old. Due to a travel gaffe, I had to scramble and look for a value accommodation for 1 night. I chose BW at O'Hare after Hotels.com extended a 20% discount for Mobile reservations. I arrived at the hotel. The place is old and dingy. The entire first floor is undergoing renovation. The elevators were too small. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and they […] have a shuttle every 30 mins to the airport. As soon as you arrive, you have to let the front desk staff know that you need a ride from the terminal though. The breakfast spread was OK. I decided to skip the restaurant around the corner and went to the McDonalds on the other side of the intersection. Overall, a quick no frills, stay-for-one-night-only place. Nice visit. The hotel was under construction on the first floor and created no discomfort for our visit. Close to the airport with free shuttle service. Overall completely satisfied. Will stay again and looking forward to seeing the completed remodel.

The 1st floor was being renovated (my room on 3rd floor) - but the entire hotel had a feel of being really dated (60s?). This, perhaps, was also the reason that the sound insulation was not great - a problem when you are an airport hotel... This hotel is being renovated, but there are few excuses for the problems we had here. The parking lot is poorly lit. The lobby has half of the tile removed, with a 2 inch drop-off at the edge. The restroom in the lobby has a toilet, but the ladie's room does not have a sink; I had to wait for the men's room to wash. The bottom of all walls have been […] cut out, exposing beams. Some have been sloppily covered with taped up wallpaper, but others are open. The room smelled funny when we opened the door; we had to leave the window open to air it out. Yes, jet fuel was more pleasant that the room! The air conditioner made as much noise a truck, we were unable to leave it on and get any sleep. The elevator did not work. If it did arrive, the doors would not close; this did not make it inviting to jump in and trust that you would reach your destination. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and when its finished being renovated it will be even better and reasonable

it is a dingy place with mold in bathroom. breakfast was bad. personnel is friendly, but that does not compensate for dingy linens and overall run down property. they are too expensive for the quality they provide. I would not recommend it.

The staff was extremely helpful and polite.

It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under rennovations before we had booked the hotel. We had people meeting us at the hotel and it was not viewed as a very nice place because of the rennovations. The entire first floor was tore up. In going to the reasurant for the continental breakfast we had to walk thru a hallway that was trashed […] with paper napkins and other debris all over the floor which we suspect was from the Bar that was just before the dining room area. I think it might be easier if I list the pros and cons. A little background, my husband and I stayed there as we were attending a conference nearby and didn't want to pay the heftier hotel cost. Pros:- Next to two restaurants. Shoeless Joe's is really good and Pine Grove is just OK. -Got a coupon for a complimentary continental breakfast at Pine Grove […] or $2 off. -In a great location. It's not far from other restaurants -Area was safe as far as we could tell. -The bed was comfy, but the pillows were too soft for my taste. - Had a microwave and mini fridge Cons: -Renovation was happening on the lobby and first floor. -Didn't want to use the workout room because it too was being renovated. -The air conditioner was pretty noisy and didn't blow all over the room it seemed. -The door to our bathroom didn't close all the way. -The elevator smelled like smoke and was old. -Rooms aren't very large. I think this place will be better once the construction is finished. Also, these are not big rooms, but they do have a fridge and microwave, which are a big plus for me. 詳情

Hotel was under renovations so lobby area very unpleasant but the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Not too good, but not bad as well... if you are staying in a transit, do stay if getting in cheap. I still feel the money I gave was not worth it.

Our family always recommends Best Western as we have stayed in many during our travels with great success. However, the Best Western at O'Hare was not up to the standards we are used to. We were not informed at time of booking that the entire first floor was being renovated due to water damage, that there was not an onsite breakfast ( the restaurant […] next door hosted a stale roll and coffee venue, no fruit or beverage bar) and that the pool was non-operational on one of the hottest days of the year. I will say that the coffee offered in the lobby of the hotel was excellent and sometimes that is all it takes to save the day. I suggest anyone booking a room call the hotel direct prior to arrival and find out what the true state the hotels is really in. 詳情

The hotel is under renovation, which would have been good to know prior to making a paid in advance reservarion. The bottom floor was torn up and the entire hotel & my room smelled of mold. In addition the carpet was terribly dirty to the point where I could not walk on it barefoot. Disgusting! I would have moved to another hotel, but since I had prepaid […] that wasn't an option. The hotel was not gorgeous but simple and clean. I was satisfied with the service, hardware, etc. We felt sorry for the flood damage, and sinecerly wish all the best to them.

Wow, this hotel was a little tricky to find, but worth it once you got there. The rooms were very comfortable, loved the mattress/bedding - slept great! Nice place, minus the huge parking charge.

We stayed at this Best Western twice in August, due to pre-pays, but were shocked to find it was under a massive construction project for renovation. Hotel was decent, once we got switched to a renovated room and carried our luggage up two flights, because the elevator was under construction.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. I needed to keep my room two hours beyond the standard check-out time, and they were willing to accommodate me. Most hotels I've stayed in would not have been willing to do that. I would definitely stay here again.

I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. We didn't plan on staying here, however, our originial hotel was pathetic. It's elevators weren't working and we needed it for a wheelchair. The first floor was under construction, so they decided to move us to this hotel. It was well worth the price, considering we definitely didn't pay the normal cost.

I have stayed here quite a few times. The staff working at the hotel are Very Good. They have fixed up the hotel appearance. This time, however, they had a group of young travelers and the room above me was loud well into the middle of the night. I would stay here again, however.

The service and hotel service HORRIBLE. The receptionists was dressing like she h=just got of bed, very rude and unprofessional. My room was hot and the air didn't work had to call a few times and complain about it the carpet was wet and had some weird smell. I would NEVER EVER stay at this place. Horrible service, horrible rooms, etc...

Very close to airport, quiet, clean rooms. Very comfortable. Just needed a room for the nite.

This hotel was what you should expect for the price: it was not the best hotel I have ever stayed in by any means, nor the worst. It was clean and safe with a quick drive to the city. I was quite happy with it for the price and convenience.

We were pleased with this hotel. We were on a 8 hour layover at O'Hare between flights and decided not to sit in the airport. Best Western offered 24 hours shuttle and a reasonable price for being near the airport. Check in check out was fast. The service desk employees were friendly and worked efficiently. We did check in and out at an unusual hour […] so there were no lines or waiting. The shuttle bus operator assisted with the luggage and took us right up to the terminal. The only negative was a humid/musty smell when we entered the room which may have been the result of the room being closed up on a very hot humid day and night. 詳情

I had stayed here and written a not-so-great review prior. This time the only real glitch was they had the wrong room. I reserved two doubles and they gave me a single queen or king (not sure)...but the room was very clean, the kids and I could sleep on it and it was fine. Excellent experience coming & going with convenient meals/services/area. Only issue was A/C stayed on all time & blew mostly on us. But will stay here next time!!!
