This hotel is under reconstruction, thus is a total mess!! Plastic sheets drape the entire hotel from ceiling to floor, leaving a cave of passageways to get from room to lobby. The swimming poll is CLOSED!! The gym area is CLOSED!! The breakfast area is CLOSED!! Breakfast is served in the BAR next door - no CHILDREN at the bar!! BEWARE!! Well...I travel frequently for work. I travel to a lot of remote areas. Gillete is probably one of the largest metropolitan areas I travel too. The location of this hotel was fantastic but there is a Days inn and a Candlewood right next door I would encourage you try those before hitting the Clarion. I received my room key and too my suprise there was someone already in the room when I got there! I have traveled an average of twice a month for the last four years and this is the first time this has ever happened. When I went back to get another room and key the same desk gal was there. She was apologetic once I got her to get off the phone. She never told me where the room was in the hotel where the closest stairs were, where the elevator was, if there was breakfast and when...etc basically zero info was conveyed. As far as the room goes it was fine except for the coverlet had crusty spots on it. GROSS!!!!! and the toilet was not fastened to the wall or floor or whatever properly as it moved and banged against the wall everytime it was sat on.So...I will not be booking at this hotel in the future... 詳情

We had a king suite. The room was very small and disjointed. The bathroom was tiny and old. The carpet in the room was not laid correctly and had many lumps in it. Overall it was a disappointment. Friendly staff and the lobby area appeared to be lovely. The complimentary breakfast had powdered eggs and turkey sausage. It was also disappointing.

This is a newer hotel. It has a great pool and exercise room but it is in an open court area. If you have a room facing the court area, it can be noisy if they have an activity going on (wedding the night we stayed there). Very good breakfast with plenty of room. Easy access to the highway. We liked this hotel and would stay again.

The Clarion Inn in Gillete is a good option for clean, comfortable hotel. Although we were not close to our original destination (Sturgis, SD) we were able to book a room on time, and had a great experience at the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was good, although the selection could be changed from time to time. Overall our stay way great, the front desk staff was more than friendly, and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Breakfast the next morning was more than satisfactory, and the room rate was very reasonable!

The hotel looked nice on the outside and in the public places. All 4 rooms we reserved had very noisy ventilation fans. All rooms could not control the water temperature in the shower either, it would fluctuate from cold to scalding. The breakfast in the morning was edible, but that's about it and the cleanliness of the breakfast area was disgusting. […] The one person running the buffet couldn't keep up with the food demands and cleaning. Mattress extremely broken down. Air conditioner disfunctional. Left at 2am because neither my wife or I could sleep. Worst hotel we stayed at between DC and Washington State. Hotel must buy new mattresses to stay in business.

Stained carpet and upholstery. Strong pool smell in the room. Tattered furniture. Non absorbent towels. Dark and gloomy. But convenient location to I90 (something had to be good). Very dark restuarant with indifferent staff.

The staff was nice, the pool area was nice for big and little kids, and the rooms were decent. Our air conditioning did not work, and Maintenance came to look at worked on it, but said if it did not solve the problem we should call down and they could switch us rooms. We called as he suggested, and they offered us a better room, but the kids were asleep […] already, so instead they brought up a couple fans that made the night bearable. I have always enjoyed staying here, I come on business so I bring my laptop with me - the internet service was so bad and slow, I will think again about staying here. As far as bars go -- I was put in 1 room that had no connection, moved to another that had 2 bars- I don't enjoy having to go out of the room to use the internet.

"When we pulled up to the hotel I was a little unsure as it didn't appear as nice from the outside. However, our room was clean and comfortable and our kids LOVED the pool area. The breakfast was very good as well.
