I travel to Riga quite often being Latvian by passport and heritage. Typically I do not stay in a hotel because also am thrifty. KS enticed me because of very attractive winter rates. Great location, in the middle of old Riga. Many museums, Dom cathedral, St Peters, restaurants, and shopping right there.The breakfast buffet was supper!!!

Very nice place. Felt very silent. Even though we did have people in rooms near us. Did we not hear any real noice. Only thing was that is seamed as there where a problem with heating of shower. But they worked quickly on it even during the weekend and got it working Breakfast was good in their restaurant beside. Different yogurt and cereals. Boiled […] eggs and toast some different cheese and meat. And vegetables. Maybe only thing to mark on. Is that the cheap furnitures looked out of place in the rooms with nice dark wood in the beam and other details. Got good wireless internet connection. In swedish Inget mer att tillägga egentligen. We were looking for a cheap hotel and that's what we got. Nothing wrong and nothing especially good. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and want to live centrally in Riga, this we do nicely! Just plan to eat breakfast somewhere else, because what is served at the hotel was not much to brag about...

Perfect location! Friendly staff. But a room was very dark - you need to turn on about 5 lamps to see something. Also there was a problem with shower - you have only 7 minutes to take it, because water doesn't run off!!!

The Konventa Seta Hotel is nicely placed in one of Old Town Riga's quiet streets. Literally everything worth seeing is within walking distance. Good hotel, room was nice and location was great.. only minus was that the heating in the hotel wasn't very good and so on cold nights you felt it! I would stay again, just take a hot water bottle with me.

For the money we paid this hotel was great value for money. The breakfast was quite good and was ample for our needs. Whilst the room was relatively basic, it had everything that a standard hotel room has (sans tea and coffee making facilities). I would stay here again if in Riga.

I recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Riga. Clean, friendly and in the middle of old town. We were very happy here. An extra thumb up for the nice breakfast.

Comfortable hotel in heart of Old City, very close to St Peter`s Church (Get lift to top of spire, magnificent panorama, not scary).2 minutes walk to House of Blackheads. A great hotel that is well worth the money. Ideally located for all the sights, and very helpful staff.

This hotel is an excellent base for exploring Riga, situated right in the heart of the old town. The hotel's public areas are very nicely decorated. The bedrooms are quite large as well. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, you can get to most of the Old Town's sights with less than five minutes walking. We all enjoyed our stay here very much Latvia is a very clean and well looked after city we will definatley be returning to the same place again next year. There is so much to see a must see is the Skyline its gorgeous ,Kiwi Bar sales lovely food and all the staff are very friendly and helpful .

Well located, western style hotel, easy to find by car and good for navigating the city by foot. Rooms were of a decent size, warm and comfortable. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Superb location. Only negative was the restaurant being closed for refurb. We were the only people in the bar which closed at 10pm so no mightcaps. Other than that superb

The hotel was great! It was situated perfectly and exceeded all our expectations! The staff were really helpful and the bar area is an excellent place to chill. It was clean and comfortable and we'd definitely stay again!

Only 2 remarks : Acoustic isolation : some walls are conducting noise Light in room : there were local lights but n ot a général Light enough toi Light all

what a lovely hotel and in a brilliant location for roaming around the old town. everyone was most pleasant and helpfull especially the reception staff who certainly knew there stuff. we had room 131 which was great but we did get the constant thump thump of music until 4.30 am friday and saturday night from a nearby bar. but this didnt spoil our enjoyment […] at all. i have been to a few east european cities now and i think this one has topped any of the others so far, i loved it and thanks to the Konventa Seta for making it better. 詳情

excellent hotel! good breakfast, internet access and good room. Free sauna upstairs is well worth a visit. Location good, right in the middle of city, without being drowned in city life. Walking distance from station, not that bad walk from ferry port to Sweden and to Estonia.

If your looking to be in the middle of RIga old town pay your money and stay here. two minutes from Kiwi bar. Breakfast included. Thank me later Cheers!

It is in a good location with short distances to all buildings of historical interest.

I booked this beautifull hotel for 3 nights on August. I stayed there in a double room with very nice view in the old street of Riga 118 as I remember. The staff was very friendly , the location is the best for travellers who want to see the Riga old town. Also the restaurant that the hotel has is very good and with tasty food , they give us free one […] glass of beer because we were client in the hotel. Ask about that. The apartment was conveniently located to the centre, and in a beautiful courtyard. The staff and locals were friendly and helpful. The train and bus stations were within a 10 minute walk from the hotle, along beautiful cobbled streets. A wonderful place to visit.

The hotel was in an excellent location within the city of Riga, making it possible to see the city 'on foot'.The 'outside'Dining Room for Dinner provided excellent meals at very reasonable prices. The hotel once we found it was in an excellent central location with lovely craft stalls outside and through a delightful archway into a courtyard just behind the cathedral. Our lovely room just lacked a fridge and air-con (but in July even though it was warm you did not really need it). It had lovely old beams above the bed and a television with a […] good choice of TV English stations. Our room was in the roof on the 3rd floor. We were able to open the roof light windows and there were blinds on these. There is a nice lounge area downstairs in the lobby and a free safety deposit box. There is also internet which costs 1 lat. Breakfast is served in the next door hotel in a pleasant room or you can eat outside. Be warned that it is expensive in Riga, but we were lucky enough to find a deal printed on the menu of a chain of lovely café bars called “Double Coffee” which were all over Riga, selling 2 pints of decent local larger for 1.69 lats (a real bargain) and very reasonably priced nice coffee and meals – especially the lovely omelettes. If you leave the main hotel entrance and turn right down the cobbled street you will find a very modern shopping centre, inside is an excellent supermarket for all of your supplies. I know everyone will tell you, but visit the 2 excellent museums – the occupational one and the one in the powder tower. We also visited the outdoor historic museum on the public bus. We also went by train to the Jurmala beach resort. You must also visit the Skyline bar which is on the side of the Radisson Blue hotel behind the freedom monument. I cheated and bought an iced coffee instead of a cocktail and it was half the price. There are 3 delightful squares with live music in each (in July). We would eat in a cheaper restaurant around the corner and then go onto the square for drinks to watch the entertainment and dancing. We managed to see traditional music and dancing one night. Very good for Old Town. Convenient to shopping as well. Hotel was clean. No tea making facilities in room. WiFi would not work. Had to pay for Internet access. After first night had to change room because overlooked all night bar. Breakfast more suited to continentals.Would recommend.

The location is great with the rooms located in several historic buildings in what was a historic fortress. The rooms are all fairly large with a desk and free WiFi. The beds were adequate and the room renovated and clean. Good location. Beds are the fold up variety if it's more than 2 to a room which wasn't ideal. Hotel kept in good condition, breakfast excellent.

Great location right in old town near everything and staff really friendly! Loads of nice restaurants etc near there with very friendly and helpful locals too! Train and bus station about 10-15 mins walk away.

Unclean room, VERY noisy and loud disturbance in the hotel. The kitchenstaff is bored / tired and not helpful at all.
