We were very pleased with Hotel Uppsala. The location was convenient to everything in the old town, the hotel was clean and comfortable. We found the included breakfast more than adequate. And the price was right!

just off the pedestrian zone ; perfect for a stay in town ; good breakfast buffet, parking facilities, friendly helpful staff, just good !

Value for money

Hotel Uppsala is very easy to find: literally on the same street as Uppsala Central Station and just 4 blocks away. It is a short stroll to the Cathedral, Castle and University areas as well. The Pipes of Scotland pub next door has a fantastic selection of beers and great food, too (the front desk of the hotel gives you a 50 kronor coupon for the pub […] upon check in). A nice modern hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Only a 10 minute walk from the bus and train station. Friendly staff. Complementary and usably fast WiFi. Good breakfast selection including bacon and eggs. Great pub style bar/ restaurant with a huge selection of beers from around the world including some excellent local brews. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is very clean and the self service breakfast had quality options. The value was very good with an additional hotels.com discount. I stayed in the room with 2 infants and had no problems at all. TV size is good and channels offered was also good including cartoon channel. Also has a DVD player […] which is good for a hotel at this rate. A very short walk to both the train station and to the walking street for restaurants and shops. Would stay here again. 詳情

I stayed at the Hotel Uppsala whilst over in Sweden on a business trip. I found the rooms to be well furnished with thoughtful additions such as a microwave and DVD player that I wasn't expecting. The breakfast was superlative and served over an extended period that would have fitted with almost all customers. Everything was great especially the scottish bar. The bad was that there is only one iron in the hotel and for some reason the managment is too cheap to buy a decent one.

Don't hesitate to stay at the Hotel Uppsala. The staff was very friendly to us non-Swedish speaking Americans...and the breakfast was excellent every day. We will be back.

The hotel is pretty basic, and fairly expensive, but that's just prices in Sweden. Breakfast was very good, and the staff - very friendly. I was in Uppsala for a conference, and, based on what other people had to say about other hotels - Hotel Uppsala seems to be among the better ones in town.

Booked this hotel, along with a couple of others based on the good reviews on here - on Sunday nights this hotel seems to be by far the cheapest in the area. Clean? The hotel is spotless. Its other areas I felt a bit let down. At reception the staff were not unpleasant, but especially for Sweden I was disappointed that I was not made to feel more welcome, […] and I was not greeted with a smile. The area is about as lovely as you will find anywhere, so the key restricted access to stairs (at night) and the lifts (24 hour) seemed way over the top. As for the rooms, as far as I can tell they're all identical. I stayed in a single room, which was huge, but felt rather awkward - there wasn't nearly enough furniture to fill the room and the bed was miles away from the tv. Very clean, but just didn't have that special touch you'd hope for. The bathroom too, clean - but not really pleasant; and the un-separated shower meant you are easily left with standing water by the toilet and sink. Breakfast was pretty good; simple - but the system there works. Maybe I'm being too negative, it isn't a bad hotel. I just feel there are better hotels in the area in the same price range. Worth staying in on sunday nights, but better out there for other nights of the week. 詳情

det var väldigt bra hotell, rejält prisvärt, med tanke på läget, jättelätt att hitta dit.rummet fick man 3 timmar innan incheckning sånt kan man ju aldrig klaga på, dock var hotels information felaktig. incheckning var inte kl 14.00 utan 15.00

Rommet vårt lå dessverre ut mot en meget trafikert firefelts vei, slik at lufting på natten utgikk. Det ble dermed høy temperatur på rommet. Frokosten var ok, men grunnet lav kapasitet var det ofte fullt, slik at vi måtte vente på ledig bord. Mycket centralt, trevlig personal och jättefin frukostbuffe, lagom standard på rum,samt lugnt nattetid.

Hissen fungerade inte med mitt nyckelkort, så jag fick, gravid i 8 månaden, släpa min väska upp 5 våningar. Det kanske hade gått att lösa men jag orkade inte engagera mig i det just då. Kaffet till frukosten var fasansfullt, annars var frukosten helt OK. Som tur var så fanns det vattenkokare och pulverkaffe på rummet.

Bodde nyligen 2 nätter på Hotel Uppsala, hotellet ligger bra till, väldigt nära centrum. Har bott här tidigare och varit nöjda. Vi är väldigt resvana, och inte de "gnälliga" typerna, men efter ha bett om extra städning (städningen var dålig under sängen och i badrummet, något som kan missas en gång) och dels var personalen nonchalant om det + att efter […] extra städning så var det ingen skillnad....... Då vart vi gnälliga och ville ha kompensation, för det förstörde delvis helgen. Återigen nonchalant personal, men framförallt det som verkar vara standard i hotellbranschen nu när man har missnöjda kunder är att ge bort gratis frukostar, något som vi tycker är ett slag i ansiktet, för när vi bor på hotell har vi ändå "gratis" frukost och inte söker vi upp ett profilhotell bara för att äta frukost....... På tal om frukost så var den faktiskt bra, förutom baconen som smakade gammal och återuppvärmd! Så, visst hotellet var billigast i Uppsala när vi åkte dit, men nästa gång är det värt en extra hundring för att slippa bli irriterad! 詳情

Rummen och andra utrymmen rena och prydliga. Erhöll två vouchers som användes till husets rödvin i baren. Tyvärr totalt odrickbart.

Wir waren bei einem Kurzaufenthalt in Uppsala für zwei Nächte Gast im Hotel und haben den freundlichen Service, das sauber und nützlich eingerichtete Zimmer mit genügend Platz für ein drittes Bett und das reichhaltige, gute Frühstücks-buffet genossen. Weitere Pluspunkte sind die Nähe zur Zentralstation bei der Anreise mit dem Flughafenbus/Zug, zu vielen […] Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsstrassen, Cafés und Restaurants. Das Pub gleich beim Hotel war abends meist voll, aber wir durften dir Drinks mit in die Hotellobby nehmen, das Personal war auch hier sehr entgegenkommend. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen empfehlen wir dieses Hotel gerne weiter. 詳情

Bra läge nära centralstationen. Bra personal i receptionen. Men, rummet var en stor besvikelse. Kändes som jag kom in i ett litet konferensrum. Dessutom så fanns det en pentry i rummet så det kändes nästan som ett ungkarlshotell.... Fick veta i receptionen att jag tydligen hade fått "arbetsrummet" av någon anledning....??!! Trodde iof. att man skulle […] behöva be om ett sådant, inte bara få ett...?? Dessutom var möblerna rätt så snuskiga. Bra personal och bra frukost, fast mitt rum var under all kritik.... 詳情
