The room and hotel were very nice. However, the price of the room and the high service charges/taxes did not include parking. On top of that, the suite that we were in did not have enough pillows or towels for us. They only had 3 towels for 4 people, and each bed only had 3 pillows. The condition of the fold-out sofa bed wasn't great either, as it had […] stains on there from who knows when/what. Finally, at 5:30 in the morning, a fire alarm goes off and we had to vacate our room to head to the lobby. It lasted 15 minutes. We stayed here to watch Thunder Over Louisville, great location, clean room, excellent guest services, will stay there again!

The hotel was great as far as location and room. The TV selection was lacking and the station guide did not coincide with the actual channels. No pay per view available either. I could not get good reception with my phone with the hotel guest wi-fi or even a good signal at all. Parking was good and they handled a busy weekend with little problems other […] than having to wait for elevators. We chose the stairs most of the time. 詳情

My next visit to Louisville will be soon. The Galt House will be the only hotel I'll stay with! All I can say is WOW!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Galt. Gorgeous hotel, beautiful area and view. They had a fun aquarium bar and nice restaurants. The top had great views. Would go back to Louisville again and would definitely stay at the Galt.

There was a fee for wifi and for parking.

Very convenient to all restrurants and theaters, love this location. Hotel is very nice and staff very pleasant. Stayed two nights and the one downfall was room service did not have time to clean our room.

Awesome place to stay, needs an indoor pool though!

Other than the counter lady being kind of witchy, the hotel was great. Room service brought us a fantastic 12 inch pizza that beat any local resturant in quality or price. Location is great within easy walk to both the river attractions and the downtown attractions. They did try to charge me for internet, but I had the bill from hotels.com which said […] the intenet was included, so they honored that. Hotel allowed guests intent on NCAA tournament afterparty to do so without volume limits and/or disruption until 1:30 am. Front desk staff appears to be overworked, and thus less amenable to troubleshooting guest requests. For example, the front desk ostensibly turned off their incoming calls during peak lobby times.

The room left something to be desired. There were blood stains on the sheets and hair on the sheets. The alarm clock was loaded with months of grime. I expected for it being a higher end hotel to receive higher end accomodations. Overall the room was fair. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was nice. It had an older charm and decorated beautifully. […] The glass wall elevators, the interior escalators, the decor in general was amazing. To be fair, we hoped to enjoy 4th St Live and got there so late and tired, it was not to be. Had to leave early so we would have been better off at a much cheaper hotel. Still, it did not have expected amenities for the price--no bathrobes, coverlets, etc. Lots of add-on costs: parking, tips, breakfast.

Great stay and service! Very easy to attend basketball game at Yum Center. Would stay again.

Great location within walking distance of all main attractions and very clean, Paid 12 dollars to park and slow elevators were my only complaints but overall a very good hotel!!!

My stay was satisfying. Clean rooms and lobby area. Few things that I would like to see change, there was no mini-bar, expand room service options, and luggage carts to use instead of the staff taking luggage. This hotel is located in the heart of Louisville and is next to Yum Yum stadium. If you are coming from out of town to a Cardinals game there isnt a better place to stay.

Downtown location. Older but clean and well maintained facilities. Workout facilites closed too early is my only complaint.

The Galt House staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and the downtown location was convenient to restaurants and other things to do. The hotel decoration and rooms are somewhat dated but it was clean. The first room assigned smelled like smoke but was labeled a non-smoking room. Our room was VERY spacious, more like a suite. The TV in the "living room" section didn't work, which was Ok this time since we watched the one in the "bedroom" The worst part of the room was the smell. There was a smell like a cleaning substance permeating the room. Our neighbors had the same smell. You kind of got used to it after being in the room […] for a while, but you always noticed it. My room was. Ice but as I am an older person, I would have like a more comfortable chair. We were in a room with two one double beds, one chair, no foot stool. No problems really. My bed was comfortable, the choice of restaurants was good too. We enjoyed the good chice of food at the Magnolia Cafe and had breakfast there the next day. My brother and I had a great stay. Very, very convenient to the KFC Yum arena for a concert, but a bit pricey. Very nice rooms!

Super nice Hotel, humorous deal occurred, got up to take a shower and brush our teeth,all the water was super hot, inclusive of in the commode, upon flushing it. Called for survice, mechanic found check valve stuck open in the adjoining vacant room, they fixed it and we had "cold water", so we could shower & brush our teeth. Hotel comped our breakfast […] & maybe our parking, for the inconvience, Interesting things can happen even to 70 year olds, on the 23rd floor of a high rise hotel ! A fun get away. 詳情

Our first time here, will definitely return. The World Famous Bourbon Bar was a first experience for us also, to see 150 different types of bourbon was quite something. Only wish we could have tasted them all. !!! Loved the gym on the top floor overlooking the river. Conveniently located to restaurants and sporting events. Just a fun, fun time

We had a lovely getaway weekend at Galt House. We were impressed with its beauty, accomodations, professional staff, and comfort. Two things that could be improved: "Thelma's" coffee was not good at all. Perhaps a name brand coffee shop could be placed in the lobby. Rooms and service were great - Everything was clean and worked well. Only complaints were it was a bit noisy at nights and the free wireless service is terrible - drops out frequently and is very slow. Worth the price I paid (half off the regular rates), but I don't think it's worth the regular price.
