I would not stay here again. It is very noisy, the rooms are ridiculously small, no free breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. The staff was very nice but that did not make up for the other issues.

Went to participate in the Hollywood Half Marathon. We were only 4 blocks from the starting line. We were able to park at the hotel and everything was in walking distance. The location of the hotel was fantastic. While our overall stay was decent, I found the way the room was setup was a bit peculiar. Booked two nights for an employee, but had to cancel the second night, because he was unhappy with the extreme firmness of the bed. Also, he was charged $22 per night to park in a small area in front of the hotel (he has a higher-profile vehicle that wouldn't fit through the regular parking entrance). Even though he checked out after the first night, he was charged the parking fee for two nights, and had to call to ask that the second night's charge be reversed on his credit card. I think the parking fee per night to park is too high when gas is so expensive too. Cafe food was good for breakfast. I'd prefer glass drinking glasses as opposed to paper cups. Clean but in dire need of remodel/update (carpet, furniture, etc.) It DID have a microwave and mini-fridge, and the plumbing and heating worked. The bed was VERY hard. There was lots of street noise. The in-house coffee-shop is closed from noon until 5 PM (aka no lunch available.) Parking is sparse and spaces are not large enough for many vehicles. […] There is a small pool. For the area (Hollywood) the rates were reasonable, but of course they tack on $20 per night for parking. If you plan to spend NO time in the room (more or less) it's OK as a budget option. Everything was good at the Best Western Hollywood Plaza Inn. It was close to the Hollywood strip, just a 10 minute walk. Close to Starbucks for morning coffee, which was a bonus. The only thing I would really complain about was the internet service. Wi-fi was super slow like literally no internet at times so we couldn't check out anything we wanted. […] Either we had to wake up REALLY Early to check or stay up REALLY Late to get any internet services. We complained twice about internet services and they rebooted the system but it still was pretty bad. I think because so many others were trying to use it at the same time? I don't know.. The only thing I'd suggest is to walk to Starbucks to get a full satisfying Internet experience. That is the only thing I'd have to complain about. Everything else was pretty good. Not great, not awful. Good location for tourist in Hollywood, but some of the newer hotels nearby might be a better choice. It was New Year's Eve, so a fair amount of random reveler noise that was amplified by the interior courtyards. Also, about 4 a.m. somebody was running around on the roof, and happened to trip or fall repeatedly just above our room. […] After this went on for over 30 minutes, we called the desk, and were greeted with concern. This was rated as 3.8? Not even close! It's very loud because the parking is underneath the rooms and both nights we were awakened by arriving guests yelling and talking. There was a $20 might parking fee. We were scheduled for 3 nights, but left after 2 sleepless and unpleasant nights!

Great location for the Hollywood Bowl. Parking was good the pool was great the next day. Rooms were clean, if a bit small. It was nice to be able to walk down to Hollywood Blvd and Sunset. The pool was nice and relaxing the next day. Will definitely stay again for the next Hollywood Bowl concert.

If what you care about most is proximity to the 'Walk', Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, etc., this hotel fits the bill. The restaurant downstairs was the high point. the accommodations were satisfactory and the staff was excellent.

We were upgraded to a lovely spa suite after a mix up when the room we'd book wasn't prepared when we arrived. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from Hollywood Blvd proper, and so is decently placed. On the wall in the lobby is a helpful list of local attractions recommended by previous guests. The staff were quite friendly, and quick to assist.

Located 3 blocks from Hollywood Blvd. Access to Underground Rail at Hollywood and Highland. Good onsite restaurant. Washateria onsite. Free WiFi. But $20.00 a day to park car, no where else in neighborhood to park car and was the going price, no in and out fees. Le Oriental Chinese two blocks away, looks like a dump but great food. I booked this hotel at hotels.com. It doesn't said that you have to pay 22 dollars for park your car a few hours. Bad, very bad. Next time I,ll pick a 20 dollars more expensive hotel with parking included. Waste of money!

It was just accross the street from disneyland which was great. We didn't eat breakfast there, chose to eat at a different place after viewing. Overall a good value for the location if that is what you are looking for. We usually stay at Embassy Suites but although I like that hotel better I would stay here for the location alone.

Staff was very accommodating and although reservation was misfiled under a wrong arrival date, staff worked hard to retrieve it and got us situated quickly. If you're attending event at The Hollywood Bowl - location of this hotel can't be beat - within walking distance. Very convenient and comfortable!

Second room was very far away, very inconvenient as I was traveling with an elderly person who needs assistance - I asked the hotel when I booked for two rooms close together, but they were not able to accomodate. I arrived on a very warn day for October and the first place I headed for was the pool. It was divine and I had it all to my self! The staff were extremely helpful, very friendly, efficient and obliging. I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to the LA Hollywood Bowl and public transport was also just accross the road. The hotel was what you would expect for a 2.5 star. It could have been improved by having in-room safes as we had our passports, ipads etc. and didn't feel comfortable leaving them in the room so either had to carry them with us or lock them in the suitcases in the room every day. Location was good within easy walking distance to some of the popular […] LA sites. The restaurant was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and let us take our own drinks. The meals were great, large portions for a very reasonable price. My daughter and I spent 3 nights as a stopover on the way back to Sydney from New York. We loved the fact it had a refrigerator and microwave, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. We booked tours and our shuttlebus tickets through reception and they were very effcient. There is also a cafe on site where we had breakfast each day, the food […] was delicious and resonably priced. There is a pool and spa as well, that unfortunately we didnt have time to use. Best of all its only 5 - 7 min walk to the Hollywood walk of Fame and all the attractions including Ripleys Believe it or Not, Madame Trussards, Chinese Theatre etc. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others who want comfortable accommodation without paying huge tariffs. 詳情

The most disappointing was WiFi, that works very poorly, almost not working at all. As I need hi-speed internet connection every day, that was very disappointing. The second thing I didn't like was that the room was a little bit noisy. The room and car parking were Ok. Car parking is very comfortable.

I liked the hotel and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is if you have a room located to the rear you will hear people in the parking lot at night. Also the staff didn't advise there was a 20 dollar daily charge for parking so it was an surprise charge at the end. I must say though the room was very clean and everything worked as it should.
