"Great price for this cozy and convenient place"
Hotels.com 旅客於 2011年05月14日留下評價This place is likely to be run by a family. The receptionist (likely the boss) and his mother (I guess) did maintenance themselves. They are Spanish descendants (as told by the receptionist), which may be a plus for those who speak español, though they are not good at English. And they are cordial people indeed. Many reviewers commented this is a B&B or a hostel. But to me, except for the small shared shower rooms/toilets, this place is just a lovely hotel. They offered Wi-fi and HDTV (w/ remote), and there are channels in French and English (e.g. CNN, Discovery.) There is a washstand in the room, which is convenient for hand/face washing as well as tooth brushing. They emptied the trash can and tidied up the bed everyday. I am not sure if the covers of pillows were changed everyday because I saw some dust (didn't know why) and hairs (likely mine :P ) for one or two days. Yet the room is in general clean. The breakfast is simple and good enough for me, which includes a cup of beverage (coffee or chocolate out of a machine), muffins, croissants, yogurt, and fruits like apples and bananas. There is a 24-hr café with internet (Café Noir) just under this hotel. Salads, sandwiches, and desserts are sold besides coffee. Though it might be very convenient, but this store also attracts young people at night, and some may make loud noise which disturbs your sleep -- though not a serious problem to me. In summary, I would like to stay here next time I have a chance to visit Montréal. I make here a list of pros & cons:
* The price is great. * The room is clean and cozy. * The staffs are friendly. * Just beside the Métro Station Mont-Royal, and the buses of Route 11 can take you to the Parc du Mont-Royal. * Lots of restaurants on Rue St. Denis in the same block. * A 24-hr café under the hotel. * The shower room is kind of small (~ 2x2 sq. ft.) * To get hot water for shower, you have to turn the shower valve counterclockwise very quickly and wait for a few m

Quick, easy and polite check in. Room was typical HI style and quality. La Cage Aux Sport attached is a positive. Breakfast was good and fast.

"The Quality Hotel on de Carie, Mtl."

We were very satisfied with the Quality Hotel. Although there are not a lot of parking spots, we always found one in the lot. Also, parking on street. Room was fabulous. Lots of room and very comfortable as well as clean. Staff was extremely helpful. All in all, a wonderful experience. Would recommend and return.

Our stay here was great especially as we were worried about how long it would take to get to the centre of the city of Montreal. It was 25 minutes and very direct. Food options for breakfast are limited to an overpriced breakfast buffet.

C'est un charmant hôtel près de tout. Malgré qu'il y avait un peu de longueur à l'inscription tout c'est très bien passé. La cage aux sports adjacent à l’hôtel en fait une place de choix. Bref je recommande très fortement cet hôtel à qui veut passer quelques jours de loisirs ou d'affaire à Laval ou dans les alentours

Notre chambre était propre et les lits confortables. Toutefois, à notre arrivée, nous n'avons pas reçu nos deux coupons pour le déjeuner du lendemain tel que spécifié dans la réservation. Le personnel en poste insistait sur le fait que nous n'avions qu'un déjeuner d'offert malgré la réservation pour deux adultes. Heureusement, le lendemain matin, un […] autre employé du comptoir d'accueil nous a offert le deuxième coupon tel que prévu. Une autre erreur s'est glissée sur le type de déjeuner offert sur le coupon, mais on nous a gracieusement réglé la situation. Pour le service à l'hôtel, c'était très bien. Par contre, le service au restaurant (déjeuner) était vraiment décevant. Un bon 20 minutes après avoir commandé, il a fallu demander à la serveuse pour avoir nos jus d'orange et café... La nourriture est venu un autre 20 minutes plus tard. C'était bon par contre.
