My daughter (9) and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at LAX for one night as we travelled from New Zealand to the East Coast of the US. The hotel was very welcoming, the room was enormous and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only negative was that we didn't know that the free shuttle from LAX to the hotel was "on demand" only - i.e. you have […] to request that they come and pick you up, rather than just having a shuttle circulating past the arrivals terminal on a regular basis. So we waited for 45 minutes as all the other hotel shuttles went past (several times). Finally, I decided to ring the hotel to check whether we were in the wrong place - and this was when I was told that they only pick up on request. Having to make the phone call at all was a pain as I only had my overseas mobile phone and making calls is prohibitively expensive - so I had to hassle with getting change from a shop so I could use the pay phone instead. I may well have missed something that told me we needed to request to be picked up, and they were very apologetic and the shuttle turned up very quickly after I contacted them, so I can't really hold this against them. We were very happy with our overnight stay. We live where it is usually necessary to stay near the airport the night before our flight and we think this will now be our first choice when we do so again. A nicer hotel for a better price than the hotels which are practically on the airport property.

Arrived late at night, friendly staff, check in and check out very prompt. Beds were so comfy. Free shuttle to airport a plus. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton El Segundo LAX. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. My only criticism would be that the pillows were too soft. Everything else fantastic.

Very friendly staff. Very clean hotel. We drove everywhere but it is. Right next to a metro stop (and I didn't notice until 2 days in, its real quiet). Wish breakfast was included but we made due. Centrally located, east highway access.

This is near LAX and right next to the Metro Green Line station at Mariposa and Nash. We drove there so I can't comment on the free transfer service to LAX. However, it is very convenient to I-105. Check-in was fast and friendly. We had our choice of what part of hotel we wanted. Parking is free The in-room amenities beat the suite we had at the […] Hyatt Regency in San Francisco two weeks before. The bed has softness adjustment which both my wife and I loved (Settings for each side of the king bead). The breakfast buffet looked good for $11.95, including eggs prepared to order, but we wanted to try non hotel food for our brunch, so I can't comment. The complimentary cookies were good, however. Extremely well maintained. I would say that this Hilton Garden Inn is actually better than even some of the proper Hilton hotels. If only this hotel has more shops around then it would be perfect.

So convenient for the aiport and having the metro so close by. the courtesy bus was terrific. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Very nice room. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice amenities. Good food. Free shuttle pick up to anywhere in a 3 mile radius.

Loved the comfort and the whole atmosphere of the hotel. I have already recommended it to others. Our only problem is that we were not there long enough.

Had a nice stay. very comfortable.

The staff was very accommodating and the room was perfect. My kids loved that they could adjust their side of the bed to the softness/ firmness that they wanted. Not quite as nice as Hilton Garden Inns that are not in an airport locations. Pricey for the location and amenities. No newspaper at room or in lobby?!

We only booked this hotel to be close to the airport for a flight in the morning. It was perfect. We arrived around 9PM and didnt feel like going out to look for dinner so we ate in the hotel. It was wonderful!! The food was great and the service too. The beds were amazing. My partner and I flew into LA because I was participating in the LA Marathon that weekend. Booked the room last minute at a great price. It is conveniently located, just a 10 min drive from the airport and we found good sporting good stores and restaurants in nearby Hawthorne and Inglewood. This hotel is in a very excellent location if you need to be close to LAX, LAX rental car locations, or Metro. It was my last night in LA before flying out the next day and I had a rental car to return, so it was perfect. Great hotel - good shuttle service to and from LAX - literally next door to the metro station, great room, cookies and fruit and coffee in foyer. Breakfast available but only okay

The complimentary shuttle from airport, to the local mall, or Manhattan Beach center available basically on demand- is a huge bonus. We were able to get a late check out, too, which meant that our layover between our East coast arrival 'til late night departure for Australia was literally a day at the beach.

This was a highly customer rated hotel and we found it to be exactly as advertized.

Very clean with fridge. They did not charge for parking. Close to the airport and a subway stop but in a clean industrial area that is well lit. Very nice base to have while visiting area or staying overnight before catching flight. Had a good wireless Internet connection.

We had stayed at the Hilton Garden in New Orleans and felt very pampered. In LA it was the same. We had just arrived on an international flight, and they were helpful and accommodating. I know that this is not a 5 star hotel, but the beds are great and the help is first rate!

Large hotel room with great price. Only complaint was that the shower was old and in definite need of a renovation/overhaul.

We had an super early flight and preferred to sleep a couple of extra hours close to the airport instead of driving from San Diego. The bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean, everything we needed for the few hours we stayed. Roxanna (front desk) was outstanding ! We had some trouble with the TV and with in minutes we had a replacement that worked perfectly. Our comped breakfasts were cooked to order and were excellant. Next time we need be in that general area, we are there.

Located just 2 miles south of LAX, the hotel seems like an oasis placed within a quiet enclave of corporate office facilities. The area is very safe and quiet. A hotel shuttle is available to and from the airport, as well as to local area points of interest. Parking here is FREE, so those with a car can access the freeway in 5 minutes and explore L […] A at your leisure. The nicely landscaped exterior invites you into a beautiful lobby, with a fireplace lounge and restaurant/bar area. The front desk staff both day and night, were always jovial and willing to help. The Business center is open 24 hrs with 3 computers and a printer. A Laundry room is also available. Rooms vary with a King, or 2 Queen beds. My room was very clean with a king bed. The mattresses are adjustable comfort, but mine had a permanent indentation on one side, so I slept on the other. The Air conditioner when turned on gave an odor of mildew that later dissipated with use. These two flaws were nothing to lose sleep over. The housekeeping staff was very efficient and friendly. The hotel was in the process of doing whole room renovations on the 1st floor of the west wing, and hanging new curtains in every room on the 2nd floor. This shows that the hotel is looking to be current and updated. I did not eat at the hotels' restaurant during my stay, but there are numerous fast-food to moderate to high-end dining places, all with menus to suit every palate, located 5 to15 minutes away. Some located at the end of Mariposa on Sepulveda, others on Rosecrans Ave, and others on Sepulveda in Mahattan Beach. When you come back in the evening, the front desk always has fresh baked complimentary cookies available for snacking. Many of the guests are returning business people visiting the various surrounding corporations and attending meetings held at the hotel. This Hotel is A MUST for those traveling to the area. Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, Quiet, and Comfortable. The beds adjustability was outstanding and the breakfast area was better than an IHOP for less money!! When coming back to the are, I will certainly stay again!! Well worth the money!!

Very clean room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only 1 minute walk to the metro station that connects you to most of the sightseeing points in LA.

A nice place to stay. The room was comfortable, the staff was pleasant and helpful, the pool setting was nice, the exercise/workout room was okay and on-site restaurant was fine. The A/C was the standard wall unit and if that kind of noise bothers your sleep, bring ear plugs.

I had stayed here before on business. It is a nice clean hotel with friendly staff. This tuime my family came down with me and we had a mini vacation. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

Going to this location probably means you're catching a plane at LAX or have business in the area. We've stayed at several hotels in the area and this one offers a lot for the money. Probably the best menu of amenities around. And beds are tooooo comfortable.
