"Perfect Location But Slightly Noisy"
I really liked this hotel for the perfect location near all the Dupont Circle bars/clubs. It's extremely convenient at night since all you have to do is walk back a few blocks. Also, the room was both comfortable and trendy. I stayed for a conference. Comfortable, clean, and a perfect location. Great food too (except the hashbrowns served with breakfast one day). Problems: There was no pool offered (at the hotel or close by). This was very disappointing because the hotels.com description included pool access at another local hotel. I had to book the 5th night separately from the first 4 in order to use a hotels.com rewards booking. The hotel was very clean and modern. The location was wonderful. The only downside was the bathroom - very contemporary, but flawed design. The shower had no door and the shower head couldn't be adjusted, so water went everywhere. This is a consistently good hotel. I usually stay here when in the DC area. It's right on Dupont Circle, which is a fabulous neighborhood. The staff are nice and friendly. "Wonderful hotel in wonderul neighborhood"
An upscale hotel that was recently updated in a modernist style. A decent restaurant that is not too pricey and a block from a metro station. Nice walk up embassy row and easy walk to The Phillips Collection. The hotel is impeccable and the staff friendly. The only minor problem I would point out is that I had made a reservation for a room with two […] beds. When I arrived the room was not ready and I wandered up embassy row. The room was ready when I returned but they asked if I would take a room with a king bed. Since my friend was not coming I agreed, but said i would do so if they would put me on a high floor with a view. Instead I got a middle floor with no view. So much for being agreeable.
