stayed for 2 nights. internet connection (daily charges basis)-- was horrific. Front desk gave a number to contact their internet service provider, when I didn't have a cell phone due to shortness of my stay in the country. (Did explain that the number was 1-800 toll free number). It didn't start with 1-800... This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel for business. It's super modern, clean and beautiful. The beds are super soft which makes it a comfortable and restful sleep and was walking distance to a lot of things, including my office!

Staff acted like they could care less and restaurant waitress had a really bad attitude, younger one with her hair in a bun. Overpriced for less than mediocre food. Hotel doorman couldn't even open the door for me leaving with two suitcases and a carry on. Big disappointment. My first stay at LOLA was comfortable and beautiful, and the walk to and from Penn Station was a breeze. On the downside, LOLA hadn't quite fleshed out all of the details of a smoothly-running hotel yet. Interior finishings were typical of an older New York hotel building that has been rehabbed to fit more modern design trends, but what was missing […] were the details - having to push through three unmarked fire doors to find my room because signage wasn't quite all up yet. Having to look up the hotel's front desk number on my cell phone because there wasn't any sort of of welcome book or speed dial button on the room's land line. Calling the front desk from my cell phone to ask about checkout times, only to have the line go unanswered. Turning to the hotel website (again on the phone) to discover that there was possibly a cafe on premises, but finding no further information about the hours it was open or what it served. Quite a little surprise, great value for the price

The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly, but the rooms were extremely small, especially the bathroom. Internet service is an extra charge of $14.00 per day. The lobby and hallways are all dark and dreary feeling.

Definitely a notch below several other Midtown hotels. The walls were thin, and I was awakened as soon someone in the adjacent room turned on the shower. The stopper in the sink didn't work. Bedding was limited to a duvet and sheet so regulating temperature was impossible except with the thermostat. Hotel was nice, room was clean and staff was really friendly. Location was a few blocks over from Grand Central and a 15 minute walk to Times Square. It was perfect for just a quick stay over in the city.

First time stay. Nice location on 29th near Madison. Rooms are small like many rooms in NY. However the room is modern and clean. The lobby bar area is very nice. As a business traveler there are mant restaurant choices nearby.

I stayed at The LoLa for business. Beautiful bar in the lounge. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the business destination. A great little Pub off the rear entrance. I will stay there again. Thank you

We had a great stay! Hotel Lola is so swanky! The staff was super friendly and the rooms were perfect for our 4 day stay!

The room was tiny, even for New York hotels, and the front desk staff could be a bit friendlier and more mindful of their customers. Still, the facility was clean, and the price was right.

Lola is a modern Midtown Manhattan jewel. The lobby is dressed in fabulous hues of purple steel gray and silver, and always seems ready to twirl. The rooms are clean refurbished and don a Philippe Starckish vibe with lime yellow accents to brighten up the NY sized funky rooms. Bathrooms are neat with glass, white porcelain, steel gray tiles and modern […] silver Grohe fittings. The rooms by the elevator can be a bit noisy. Staff is pleasant and the concierges are very eager to help you get around NYC on foot, subway, and even by helicopter! The wifi was not easy to connect to and is something the hotel ought to fix. We stayed in a jr. double and were upgraded to the king and loved every bit of our stay. We would easily stay @ Lola anytime we needed to be in the heart of Manhattan in a clean modern fun boutique hotel. 詳情

Are there better hotels in NYC? Sure. Are there better locations? Sure. Can you afford those hotels? Great if you can, but I can't. For me, I need something clean, comfortable, and well-priced. LOLA is a first-rate value -- a terrific combination of price and location -- and it was clean and comfortable -- staff was helpful too.

Great hotel, good location, very clean room but not very spacious! Overall I would definetly return to Lola in my next visit to New York.

The room was small - but newly redone so that was nice. The bed was very comfortable - but it was LOUD - from street noise. Not really sure why. Overall a good deal for the price.

They were incredibly nice and made me feel catered to. Definitely want to stay here again.

Typical tiny room NY Hotel. Very nice and friendly restaurant next door. Trendy lobby. Decent location. But there are other friendlier-tiny-room hotels in town. Lobby staff not the most helpful. Not bad, but I would rather try somewhere else instead.

Great hotel in a good location for sight-seeing and enjoying the best of NYC. Short walk to Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden and lots of shops. $5 in a cab to Times Square, less than $10 to Meatpacking District. Subway station just round the block from the hotel - all main tourist sights easily accessible from that station. Decor in hotel […] is good - extremely clean. Just stayed for the night before taking the train from Grand Central station to New Haven. Price is fine- hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. No complaints and would stay here again. Just a block away is Les Halles- of Anthony Bourdain fame- if you're not opposed to meat- a nice brasserie experience.

We enjoyed our stay at LOLA immensely. It is convenient to great dining, the MTA and tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.

Entering the Lola feels like walking into a nightclub--it's dark and glamorous. The service is excellent, the room clean. The only drawback to my room was its small size: the bed took up virtually all of the room's width and I had to squeeze by it to get from the room's entrance side to the window wall at the opposite end. Upon arrival my room smelled of smoke and when I asked to be moved I was told that they were full and could not until the next day. I was told that the manager would take care of it and call me. As it turned out I could not be moved the next day either and never heard from a manager. The walls are thin and I spent two nights listening to one guy snore […] and the room on the other side had an all night party.. Its just not that pleasant in the rooms. Loved staying at Hotel Lola. First time ever staying in the city and I thought it was a great location, great price. Very much what I thought a NY boutique hotel would be. Would recommend to others.

I read some horrible reviews but decided to book anyways since the deal was amazing. It's officially Hotel Lola now and i have to say its beautiful. I honestly dont have a single complaint. Good location Decent size of room but to expensive for what i got as a room Hotel is infront of a bar and i was up the whole night because of people fighting outside the bar My room didnt have a room number and had to locate my room twice Internet is not even free. We had a great deal on the price. However, the room was very small but very modern and clean. Walking distance to Penn Station. Overall great place to stay.

Located close to UN and 3rd Ave/Lex midtown corridor. Rooms were clean and stylish, although a bit small. A 15 min walk from Times Square.

Good location in Midtown Manhattan, subway stops close by. Modern and clean rooms, our room was on the small side but that must be common in Manhattan. Big bathroom, though. A large safe in the room, we were able to adjust heating and cooling by ourselves, big plus! The hotel needs to put hotel information folders in every room, ours didn't have one […] and consequently we didn't even know the number to reception, it wasn't even printed on the phone which is usually the case. Absoltely love this place,.. the Lobby is beautiful, the staff is overly friendly and helpful,.. its located at a good distance from Downtown and uptown NYC,.. I strongly recommend this to anybody visiting New York or times square

The location of the hotel is convenient, yet the room was small, the ceiling was not finished, the floor was not clean and not enough clean towels. Its too expensive to the services it provides.

I was extremely pleased with the LOLA. The property is well maintained and tastefully appointed. The staff was extremely courteous. Overall I couldn't have been more satisified. I will definitely stay here again.

Couldnt of asked for a bettter room for a night. Comfortable bed, good conditions, nice TV.

This hotel was decent. The room was tiny (just large enough for a queen bed) but I guess that is typical of NYC hotels. The hallway had a strong smell of smoke but it didn't smell in the room so it wasn't bad. The location was great, just a few minutes from Madison Square Garden.
