Hotel Sax Chicago - 芝加哥

We've stayed here a number of times when attending concerts at the House of Blues next door. It couldn't be more convenient. The rooms and lounge have an interesting, funky vibe and the service is incredible. We'll definitely be coming back again!

I really enjoyed the hotel, as it was a great location. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Very cute hotel, and will be staying again!

This hotel satisfied my needs as a business customer -- it was close to meetings, clean, quiet, and had a reasonable rate. I plan to return.

We traveled to Chicago for St Patrick's Day festivities and a weekend getaway. The Sax was ideal. Phenomenal location, great views, impeccable service. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Chicago.

Very nice and comfortable; service is very good. Not the best views since it doesn't rise as high as surrounding hotels. Way over-priced for amenities! To watch one in-room movie you must pay a price as if you are buying the DVD to own permanently. Have your fun out of the hotel because it costs too much to do anything nice in the hotel.

I stayed at the Sax Hotel on a Saturday night. Although check-in time was at 3PM, the courteous staff allowed me to check in at 11:30AM. I had booked the King Superior, but I was curious what it would cost to upgrade to the King Deluxe. The provided they upgrade at no additional cost. Finally, they were able to extend my checkout time to 2PM rather […] than 12PM. In addition to the wonderful staff, I loved the decor in the hotel and my room. As you can see from the pictures, it is a unique vintage-modern blend. The view from the 15th floor was also quite nice, albeit limited. The only blemish on an otherwise flawless experience was the lackluster upkeep. Just beside our hotel room door, there were leftover dishes and silverware, likely from the previous guests. We didn't notify the staff, but it was cleaned within a few hours nonetheless. The bathroom doorknob was also broken. The door would close but would not latch shut. Inside the bathroom, some of the wallpaper was peeling off. I personally like to sleep with a fan for white noise and breeze. A quick call to the front desk and we had a fan delivered to room within a few minutes. Although this hotel lacks the polish to receive a perfect review, I can easily recommend it based on the price, comfort, and excellent staff. 詳情

The hotel itself was gorgeous and the staff was extra friendly. The only negative I can even think of is that their doormen have no clue as to what are the best spots in town for nightlife. Stayed for a weekend getaway at the Sax Chicago. Fantastic place. Close to all the tourist attractions, great bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel was nice and clean.The only downfalls were there was no free Wi-Fi and the Workout room was in the Basement and seemed very creepy for a Woman traveling by herself.

This was our second stay at the Sax Chicago...I don't think I will stay at another hotel. The staff is extremely nice and the location is perfect.

The Sax Chicago has a more hip/trendy vibe than many Chicago hotels. The rooms while not large or opulent are extremely well kept and comfortable (we stayed in a king guest room). Some might find the hotel's decor a bit too "gothic" in it's feel and color palette.  I normally don't bother with reviews, but the service at this hotel was just outstanding! […] I felt compelled to comment on their professionalism and positive attitude. Unlike many experiences I've had with hotel staffs being very hit and miss, this was just an across the board clinic in customer service. Everyone smiles when asked for something. If they can't help personally they connect you with the person that can. After staying at more than 20 different hotels in Chicago over the years my experience during my stay really caught me off guard.  Bottom line, I would gladly stay at this hotel again. So bravo and thanks to everyone at the hotel who very obviously take such pride in their jobs. 詳情

Overall the experience was great. However, when we first checked in we were placed in a room that smelled like sewage. They immediately switched our rooms and the rest of our stay was great!

Most hotels have upgraded beds, not Hotel Sax where the lumps prevented a good night's sleep. Great location close to everything in Chicago, helpful staff, including concierge and doormen, but these attibutes just couldn't overcome the bad night's sleep caused by the lumpiness of the bed.

We stayed recently for a four day weekend to explore Chicago. The Sax Hotel was close to the major lines of public transit and in a safe part of town. Walking distance to many places. The decor of the room was great. Not your traditional hotel room look. It was fun and a bit funky. Our room had a snake-skin chair and the rest of the room was just alive. I loves this hotel!!! It's amazing! I enjoyed everything! Everyone was so nice! It's a great part of town! I'm telling you that you won't regret staying here.

We stayed here last year - love the rooms, it's in a great location and the staff is friendly. Can't find much to complain about at all, except when I called to find out if they offered Happy Hour specials, they said not really, but they did. There were drink specials and food in the bar before we left for our night out. Overall, a winner!

This hotel was a lot of fun to stay at....my girlfriend and I stopped by for one night to stay in Chicago and we were not disappointed at all. I wanted a Staycation...we call it that because we are locals and have experienced the city time and time again. But I must say not like this....In a word "WONDERFUL". Great Hotel, Location and Staff!

I used to live in the city, now I just come in multiple times a year to visit. When I decide to get a hotel instead of staying with friends, my two favorite places to stay are The Dana and The Sax. Room service was exceptional (ordered breakfast, which was delicious and came with 4! cups worth of hot water, for 3 tea packets of above average earl grey, in a high-quality thermos that maintained a hot temperature for 2 hours). This is an exceptional hotel in a sea of exceptional amenities (self-park garage within walking distance that offers $42 a night instead of $50-ish a night for valet, Smith & Wollensky (steak-house), House of Blues, Bin-36 (wine bar with great wine flights), decent bowling alley, just north of downtown) all within walking distance. 詳情

We were in town for just 1 night, great location Nx to the house of blues, bar Louie, and shops. The shower didn't drain well& the water wasn't very hot. Overall a good stay, would recommend it to others.

The room smelled strongly of fresh paint. While I appreciate the trendy design and decor style, vinyl curtains and Faux leather furnishings are not very comfortable or pleasant. I think charging for internet is tacky. Front desk provided complimentary usage which I appreciated. Bin 36 was over priced and not worthy. Very pleased with hotel sax, I live in Chicago and still don't mind getting a room every now and again at this property. Very close to shopping,restaurants,radio hall of fame...etc lodge here,lodge here,lodge here!

Beautiful, upscale, trendy hotel with excellent service. If you're going to the House of Blues for a concert, it's a 20ft stumble back to your room after the show ends. nicest guys outside place. pretty good location. good quick walking to most stuff. can leave car whole weekend parked except for museums, take bus NOT TAXI. Love Chicago. When is it gonna snow.

We visit Chicago as a family on a somewhat regular basis. We've stayed in many different hotels and consider The Hotel Sax one of our best stays yet! The staff was incredibly helpful. The room size was very ample for our whole family. Clean. Convenient location for all the venues we headed to.

Reserved a room last minute for New Years at a decent price. Easy parking and check in and out. The interior designing of the entire hotel was spectacular from the lobby and loung, to the halls , to the room. The Sax Staff was very hospitable and friendly throughout stay, room was Nice but bathroom had chipping paint and rust stains on ceiling above tub. Overall nice hotel just a little out of way from shopping district and theatres.

I came into Chicago for two nights on a train trip from Iowa to Michigan. The train was seven hours late getting in and it was great to have a room ready for me a short cab ride from Union Station. I'm a walker, and the Sax was very convenient for every destination I had in mind. I felt safe walking in the neightborhood even late at night. This is my favorite go-to hotel in the city. Close to everything, great decor, bar in lobby is swanky and always can find a great deal. Have stayed multiple times and haven't had a complaint yet.
