Rooms were recently renovated so they are in good condition except for the chairs which definitely show plenty of wear. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Shower had water saving head so it wasn't such a satisfying experience. I ended up taking a longer shower because of the reduced flow. Gwinnett Mall, Best Buy and Fry's Electronics are close […] by and I needed to shop there so I accomplished my goals during the 2 day stay. Management needs to inform housekeeping when the guests have checked out before entering the rooms. Their policy is once a week service from the day you check in. I was there for only 2 days and they tried to enter my room when I was in the bathroom at 8:00 am and again at 8:15 am. There are other hotels in the vicinity and I chose this one because the rooms have a kitchenette and you can make simple meals. 詳情

Plus points: All hotel staff that I encountered (front desk, maintenance, housekeeping) were very nice, friendly and helpful. The free laundry facility for guests was an unexpected bonus! The room was clean, excellent "thirsty" bath towels and a nice large bathroom. Kitchen area was attractive and had a full size refrigerator. Minus points: EVERY room […] has a queen size bed so the number of guests in a room really is limited to two. No cots to rent so when our grandaughter spent a night with us, grandpa slept on the floor. The mattress was VERY firm, not much difference between it and the floor. The front desk was great this time. They usually have one girl who is extremely rude, but the manager, Chris was there and everyone was very accomadating. The air conditioner is a little aggravating, you go to bed and it has a sensor, there is no movement and it goes off, then it gets really hot and wakes me up and I have to move around for the air to come back on, this is extremly aggravating and interupts my sleep. Upon checking in, I thought that there was going to be an issue. The desk employee stated that I did not have a reservation for a room and did not have a room available for me. Once I showed her the reservation confirmation, she was able to provide me a room; however, her aditude was poor and the key card did not work when I arrived at the room. That […] was immediately fixed and the room was fine from that point on. And to her credit, she did call back later to check on me and the room. This extended stay property is well stocked. I have stayed at others and been disappointed that they didn't provide as much as this hotel. Other places will provide burners but no pots or diswashing powder but no dish liquid. If I compaired Candlewood Suites to Homewood Suites facilities - then I would have been expecting at least a contintental breakfast for their guest, which Candlewood Suites does not offer. Comfortable stay at a clean and roomy hotel! I was a little apprehensive about staying here, as I am acustomed to lodging at the Marriott. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the service, cleanliness, and comfort of this hotel. I will be staying there more often.

Excellent place- newly remodeled and very well stocked. The room had everything we needed to cook a meal and store the leftovers. Comfy bed, clean, great value for everything you get. This is the place to stay in Gwinnett!

It will probably be a better hotel when the renovations are done, but my room was above all the renovations. It smelled like paint, there was a mess everywhere, and the work was going on when I woke up & when I returned to the room. Also, if you have pets, find another hotel. Candlewood allows pets, but the dog walking area was sort of gross.

Candlewood Suites Atlanta, which is in the suburbs in Gwinnett County has all the same ammenities of a Holiday Inn without the complimentary breakfast. If you are willing to stay in a hotel without breakfast, it would be very hard to find a place that is as good a bargain as Candlewood Suites. The hotel was well maintained and easy to find. It had a problem from which many hotels seem to suffer. Even though our room was non-smoking, there was still a strong hint of smoke in the air and my wife is very sensitive to tobacco smoke so the stay was not as pleasant as it should have been. Also the room type that I thought that I was reserving was […] not the room that I wanted. I had to pay a higher price than I expected to stay in the room that I wanted. I have only stayed at Candlewood Suites twice and this is the second time that this has happened. Is this a pattern? Check in was hassle free. Room was spotless! Everything in room worked perfect. Bed was very comfortable and experienced a great nights rest every night. Parking was ample, had no fear of issues in the parking lot. To be honest, I would have stayed longer if I could have. Will be back!

Very good hotel at the price. No problems with security, staff was pleasant. I parked a Porsche confidently, and would gladly stay there again. There are no food accomodations; however, a block up and a block up from the hotel is the Georgia Diner, which is very good and open 24/7.

All things considered, this hotel is worth only its 2 stars. It is an older hotel and although it was fairly clean, it could use some renovations. The kitchen cabinets were really worn out. The toilet didn't flush well, it had to be flushed twice. The kitchen sink wouldn't turn off completely without a smackdown. The AC unit was really loud. The coffee pot handle was loose, and I thought I was going to spill my coffee. There were random hairs all over the bathroom. Don't gross out, but there was even one in the bathroom cup. The elevator smelled like smoke. There were price tags left in the drawer. It just seemed like the cleaning was not thorough.
