Our stay was very nice. The entire room was absolutely clean and lovely. The bed was comfortable and soft to sleep in. The TV was big and had some great channels. The bathroom provided us with basic amenities. The only down side was our refrigerator was not turned on so we had to get a repairman to come in and fix it for us. We selected this hotel because of its location, free breakfast and large, suite rooms. It was easy to get to, comfortable, clean and reasonable. The best part was the desk staff. They were friendly, happy to make recommendations for dinner and seemed very concerned that we had a good time. They even asked how the restaurants were when we returned! "would definitely recommend"
I've stayed there once before about 5 years ago around the same time of year which is New Years Eve. I really didn't find anything bad to say then or now. Maybe the only thing is I wish the Mohegan shuttle came to the hotel like before which has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Other than that I am a completely satisfied customer. I am very picky […] when it comes to hotels and find it to be clean and very comfortable. Your not spending $600.00 dollars a night and your breakfast is included. What more can you ask for? This hotel is located alongside a highway as part of a complex of strip malls and big-box stores. The staff is friendly and attentive and the rooms are clean. The room smelled funky, when I complained to the front desk, they said the hotel was filled. They offered to spray the room with air freshener. For the money I spent I was expecting more. "Hard to find but worth it"
Once we found the entrance among the weeds on the road, we were glad we did. We didn't use the pool but we were spending the night at Mohegan found that it was quite close. I like the suite setup because I had to go to work in the morning while my husband was able to sleep in. Chocolate chip cookies, good breakfast setup. This hotel served as a rest stop in between locations on a business trip. It was a nice big room and more than satisfied my needs. The TV was too far from the bed. My only complaint is that the spot light in front of the hotel shined right in my room and there was a hole in the curtain probably from previous guest trying to block the light out. "cleanest chain hotel I've seen!"
I was very impressed by the cleanliness. I've never been too picky about which chain hotel I wound up in but that has changed. This Marriott was infinitely cleaner than any 3 star place I've stayed in the past year or two.
