Comfortable hotel. Strict adherence to 2pm check-in, even when rooms are available prior, is frustrating for International travelers.

It was really nice to be able to be right near the hub of Coogee but not have the noise. We stayed here to get access to the Comedy Club at Fox Studios, an easy drive to and fro with little traffic, so much better than the city. Also found that the evening prior and then waking up at this beach side of Sydney was an excellent change. The Medina in Coogee is a very nice facility. The one complaint that I have is that they absolutely will not allow you to check-in before the 2PM check-in time even if your room is ready.. This is particularly inconvenient when coming in on an international flight that arrives in the early morning.

Very happy with the room. The place was very clean and very easy to get around Sydney from there. Will definitely stay there agin on my next visit.

Staff tried to enforce policies that do not exist when challenged and dealt with manager problem sorted, Parking is confusing and substandard signage. Staff had forgotten to setup kids bed, claimed it was not paid for, when challenged they acknowledged it was on booking. Place was tired lights, shower not up to standard. Pool was good. Have stayed at the Medina Coogee on a number of occasions but wasn't entirely happy this visit. We reserved a twin room which appeared great until I had a lie down on one of the beds. The mattress was completely depressed on one side - the springs were broken and it was noisy to move around on. I complained, asking for a new mattress but I had to pack […] everything back up and move to a ground floor room - with a king bed not a twin. I found three fingernail clippings on the floor which looked as though it needed a good vacuum. Also, staff entering a room immediately after knocking is not good enough - I was given no time to respond and my privacy was breached. I worked for Hyatt Hotels for many years and have a good understanding of hotel management and would hope that my comments will be helpful in keeping up the standards that a good hotel sets. 詳情

Close to all local attractions , the beautiful Coogee Beach.Cafes shops .People very friendly. A must stay location.

Great location,clean comfortable and friendly. Proximity to beach,places to walk, to eat and to swim as well as opposite a supermarket-just.ideal. It doesn,t come better than this

Really enjoyed the stay at the medina....the studio apartment is really more of a hotel room with a toaster, kettle and microwave - but the location was amazing and the rooms comfortable and clean. The only downside was when booking on hotels.com we were told the checkout would be 2pm, but on the evening of last stay we received a notice from the hotel […] saying checkout was 10am. We managed to stay in the room hassle free until about 12 - but it was annoying to find out our check out time had been reduced. 詳情

Very dissapointed - The room was very small and dark - Expected beter for the price.
