The title pretty much summarizes my experience. Singapore is expensive, and finding an average hotel at convenient rates with a good location was my primary decision concern (traveling with family). my engineer is overall satisfied with it. so I have no complain. will recommend hotel to others. , except the restaurant on the same floor of reception does not serve really good food. , consider ing singapore is famous for its good food. I took my engineer for dinner there and was disappointed.

Landmark Village Hotel is probably ok for the price, but I'll look for something else next time I go to Singapore. There was a little bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling and some white towels were not immaculate or were too worn out. Landmark Village is not a cheap budget hotel. But its not expensive either. Its great value for what you pay. The hotel is fairly clean, although my bathroom had a hair or two that belonged to someone else on more than one occasion. The beds were wonderfully hard and comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. The housekeeping staff were a bit nosy even when a "don't disturb" sign was place on the door. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The coffee was terrible, but then coffee at the Fullerton wasn't all that much better either. The restaurants are about adequate. But the really interesting street cuisine starts right outside the hotel's Arab street entrance. Be prepared for less than satisfactory service. Most places are family owned and operated, so the food is great, but the service is... well... fickle. I had to kick a fuss about bad service and an obviously clueless chef at a small Mediterranean hole in the wall... but i was assured that the real chef had called in sick and they were making do with a stand in. But they were nice enough to not charge me for the less than edible meal. That's one of the remarkable aspects of Singapore... if you have a complaint, people generally take you seriously. The location is great if you wanna traipse around the older bazaar type scene. Lots of great little small places to eat and drink and watch life go by. There's a big mall at about a 5 minute walk, if you're the nasty mall-shopping type of tourist. The Suntec city convention centre is a pleasant 15 minute walk. All the touristy hang outs in the marina bay area are a short cab ride away. The cabs are cheap and the cabbies are absolutely charming... they'll give you the lowdown on anything you're interested in! We experienced great difficulty finding the hotel - so did our taxi driver. Problems - enterance is not in the street of its address. No easily visible street number on building. Very comfortable stay. Close to most Singapore points of interest and very close to bus and railway communications if visiting sites like Singapore Zoo. Nice hotel, Helpfull and freindly staff. Really clean and it dose have a pool, allthough I didnt have time to venture up and in it. Close to the City centre approx 25 Min walk to the Quey where you have loads off night life pubs, clubs, restaurants etc.. The location was fine only 5 mins walk to mrt and bugis markets. The hotel is getting a bit old and we could smell the cigarette smoke from the room next door. The staff were friendly. The location is in the region of little india and most of the people and restaurants are suited to them. We would probably stay again only if passing through like this […] time. While the Landmark is conveniently located for most things, the place is old and out dated. there was a consistent and very noticable musty / wet smell as soon as you get off the lift. Room was ok but again old and tired. There is much better value for money. Don't do it!!

Good location close to little India and the subway. The rooms keep a fairly good standard. I found it a little hard to find the entrance to the hotel as it is somewhat located on the backside. The downside was the expensive wireless internet. If you just walk out on the street right outside you can connect to free wireless services instead.

I have stayed in many hotels, but this definately rates as one of the worst! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms. The corridors seem to be used as meeting places and the noise, at all hours, is terrible. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Good hotel. The best thing about hotel is its location. Very close to underground station. The room was quite big with more than king size bed. From outside the building looks bit dull but it was good from inside. The only thing which wasn't great was its bar..but anyway we were drinking and eating out so didn't bother us that much.

Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, liikenteen melu ei haitannut. Hotellissa kuitenkin haisi homeelta/tunkkaiselta, varmaankin johtui kokolattimatoista ja nokka vuosi meidän perheellä koko ajan kun olimme huoneessa.

가격대비 너무 별로 였어요.인도사람이 90프로 이상이었으며 조식도 인도 음식이 대부분 이어서 음식도 입맛에 안맞고 주위에 쇼핑몰도 없고 환경도 별로였어요.가격대비 절대 비추입니다.

ホテルは、MRTブキス駅から徒歩3分程度の距離にあり、シティ観光に適していた。ホテル玄関前にセブンイレブン、ホテルの隣に病院、その病院の1階にカフェ、ホテルから徒歩8分程度の距離にショッピングモールがあり、利便性は非常に良かった。F1観戦のためにこのホテルを利用したが、ゲート1までのアクセスは、ホテルから徒歩15～20分程度で、途中、緩い登り坂があるが、歩道もきちんとある道で歩きやすいし、あまり利用者がいなかったせいで、ガシガシ歩けてよかった。ホテルの周辺には、不満はなかった。チェックインは、2時から。チェックアウトは12時まで。チェックイン前でも後でも、荷物は無料で預かってくれた。ホテル施設の老朽化は、否めないし、外観を見て、まずガッカリした。部屋もバスルームの補修部分などは、悲しい感じだ […] けど、清掃はきちんとされていたし、居心地はよかった。部屋は、広め。シンプルで必要最低限の設備であった。 ビジネスホテルに毛が生えた感じ。 また利用したいかどうか、といえば、全然利用OKです。 詳情

ブギスの中心に位置し、地下鉄の駅も近く、充実したホーカーズにも歩いていける。 食べ歩きを中心にするには最高の場所にあると思います。 従業員は、特に問題はありませんが、よくいえばあっさりしています。 部屋に関しては、スーペリヤの部屋に泊まりましたが、相当長期間リニューアルしていないようで老朽化が激しく、スイッチ類も壊れ、換気も良くなくほこりっぽいです。 場所だけはよいので、部屋の快適さにこだわらない人には、料金が安ければお勧めです。

Det er et godt hotel beliggende i det arabiske kvarter. Kvarteret med Moske og mange fine gamle huse har en fin charme. Ved at benytte de lokale spisesteder i området får man dels en fornemmelse af lokalebefolkningen og man kan roligt spise på disse nærmest "gadekøkken-steder". Det er hurtigt og billigt.

ランドマーク ビレッジ ホテルは、アラブ人街にあるので、オーチャードを中心に考えると街の外れという言い方もできると思います。 しかしブギス駅にも近く、バスも走っているため、交通の便は悪くありません。 チャイナタウンもバスで１０分ほどです。 ちょっとしたショッピングであればブギスで揃います。ホテルについては、今回エクゼクティブルームを利用しましたが、 海側の部屋はラッフルズ方面の高層ビルの夜景等が見え景色もよく最高でした。 次回もまた利用したいと思います。

周辺にモスリム街中華街があり地下鉄も近くホテルビル内でも買い物可能。とても便利。

The hotel is somewhat old fasioned (80es..) and is integrated in a sort of shoppingcentre (small stall like shops, goldsmiths, watchmakers, gemstone sellers etc). My room was ok. 酒店的設施不值這個價格...房間設備較舊,冷氣過涷,沒有LCD電視, 晚上聽到別的房間的水聲；酒店入口大堂隱蔽難找.... 唯一可取是地點近MRT, 交通方便。

Recommended for tourist who are looking for cleanliness and convenience. This hotel has complimentary shuttle services to Universal Studio which runs on scheduled hours. Need to book one day ahead with the reception. Bugis MRT station is just diagonally opposite. Bugis MRT is just a few stops away from Orchard ( plenty of shopping ), Raffles Place ( […] the Merlion ) and City Hall. 4/30から3泊しました(クラブルーム)。 エアコンは故障しているしセイフティーボックスも故障していました。修理に半日ほどかかりました。朝食も18ドル/人も払いましたが、内容はとてもひどい物でした。二度と泊まりたくないホテルです。

the location is good but the service is poor. Expect the manager, other staff are not helpful at all. One of them is extremely impolite, and not professional. It ruins my journey to Singapore! The location is good, travel from Clarke Quay to hotel at night by taxi is less than SGD10! good for party animals!

Hotel ligt centraal gelegen voor alle bezienswaardigheden binnen loopafstand te bekijken. Hadden een clubkamer geboekt daar dit inclusief ontbijt was, ontbijt was in de zogenaamde "Executive lounge" op de 18de verdieping, een tip van ons, ontbijt gewoon beneden op de 3de verdieping daar de keus daar veel uitgebreider is. Pas propre. Draps à peine changés(dans notre cas, juste retournés d'un jour sur l'autre!!). Pas renové. Moquette sale, carrelage de sdb cassés. Odeur d'humidité. Hotel vieillot.Nous avions pourtant une chambre "supérieure". Le service et le personnel sont très bien mais le point noir de cet hotel est la propreté!
