The room was very small and the water from the sink and bathtub did not drain. One chair had pretty bad stains.

Very friendly, a guy name Victor went beyond his job, he help with are luggages and very helpful by giving information about the town. Next time am in town i Wilson be staying here again

Budget hotel with good rooms for 1 or 2 nights. Nrighbourhood is ok, everything yuo need is nearby. Only problems sre the beds, they are to hard. Breakfast is simple but will do.

Room was clean, motel was clean and inviting. Internet was a bit weak but liveable.

Every time I opened the door to my room there was a strange ordor. The carpet in the hallway was stained and the cont. breakfast was pretty minimal. I could not find a coke machine in the hotel.

The hotel was fine, and the Manager was efficient! There was a bug in the room (I was on the first floor); I called the Manager, and he came and took the bug out. Very efficient!

This hotel was okay. We needed a place to stay while we where there for the Enchanted Circle Century. The service was accommodating for sure. Breakfast could have had some fruit and boiled eggs to make it a complete breakfast.

It served its purpose. My only major complaint was that their television system had several channels off. That one was Fox News so I couldn't get my news was a put off. I asked them about it. Housekeeping could have been better. We had to ask for additional towels when they should have known two people were in the room.

requested nonsmoking but got smoking room, room was right next to exit/entrance.

ok, so I know smokers are not popular people, but when I specifically book a smoking room, which was $10 more, I expect a smoking room when I get there and NOT have to stand outside in the corner in the back to smoke a cigarette. I was very unhappy about that!!!!

Room was hot and stuffy and a/c was crappy. There wasn't anything around it and we would not stay there again.

Was very comfortable, good place to stay in the area and very convenient to get to, quiet and clean, friendly employees.

The motel was as expected for a cut-rate place to stay in a tourist area. Outside was dingy and the part of town was a little grim. But the room was amazingly clean and we had no real issues.

Overall, a clean motel. It does need some updating. Rooms were small for the price. I have paid same price for much more room. Breakfast was limited. I have seen again other comparable hotels have a more varied breakfast.

My wife and I stayed just one night here on our way to climb Wheeler Peak. The room was clean and spacious, but there was no fridge. It's rather far from where all the action is in downtown Taos, but that means that it is quiet. We left too early in the morning to sample their continental breakfast, so I can't comment on it. If you love the smell of cigarette smoke, this is the hotel for you. This is a clean, friendly hotel in which I have stayed many times over the past few years. However, this most recent visit didn't go as well as it could have. The hotel is almost SMOKE FREE with the exception of three rooms on the second floor. Now these rooms are not at the end of […] the hallway near the door, but in the middle of the hotel. For three days all we could smell were cigarettes. WI-FI did not work.

The room was organized but the sheets had stains on them, the mattress was very saggy, and the lobby was not as described in the listing. We did not even stay one night after seeing the room.

You get what you pay for is the moral to this story. The rooms were cheap, but we expected the service to be good. We were wrong. We have visited Taos at least 10-12 times in the past and this is the worst hotel that we have ever stayed at in Taos. When I reserved this hotel their rating was 3.8 - not bad, but not the best. This motel is exactly what you are paying for. The room was kind of small and there wasn't a refrigerator in the bedroom, but those are not criticisms, just observations. This place was inexpensive compared to other places in Taos and it was clean. Don't go for the breakfast. I read the other critiques before I went. The food's really not worth mentioning. […] We took some fruit with us as a hedge and bought some McDonald's hashbrowns and coffee instead. I didn't notice any of the smells that other guests talked about, but the place does look a little bit dirty from the outside, or maybe it just needs a coat of paint. Curbside appeal nearly non-existant, but condition of 2nd floor accommodation better than expected. Kudos to housekeeping. Quite fine for passers-through or skiers with limited budgets.

Great location! Centralized if you want a choice to travel to all four ski resorts within the Taos area. All resorts are within 20 miles from the motel. The ski rental place next door made it convenient to rent the skis and just go... I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, the front desk person also doubles as the cleaning person.

Room ok, outside below average. Price not that much lower than some nicer hotels.

The hotel was as expected. It rained quite a bit while we were there, so it was muggy outside. The air conditioner in our room did not cool it off very well, so I wasn't very happy about that. Otherwise, the room was clean and pet friendly. Also, the breakfast was very limited in selection, but it was fine, especially for the price we paid.

The breakfast was pretty sparse--coffee, cereal and toast. Would have had some juice but the machine was broken. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking lot was clean and well lit. It's a decent a 2 star property

Satisfied with my stay. Certainly not fancy and could use a design update, but the staff was good and price was fair. Location was convenient for where I wanted to be in Taos (south end).

Very pleased with the stay, in general a clean room, though a daily vaccuming of the room would have been nice.

Nothing fancy - but beds were comfortable, room was clean, bathroom adequate, plus free wireless internet access and continental breakfast - over all excellent value for money. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Staff was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient. As others have noted, the side door to enter the hotel was not locked, so anyone could just walk into the main hallway from the street. This was a little unsettling, but once inside we locked up tight and forgot about it.

Convenient location. Since pets are allowed, there were some animal odors from the hallway but not in the sleeping room itself. Staff was very helpful.

The breakfast buffet was weak however.

The motel is a little older but clean and very convenient to historic downtown Taos and Taos Pueblo. The free breakfast selection is very minimal so I would recommend going to Michael's Kitchen downtown for food. We were driving across country and this motel suited are needs (affordable, clean, convenient).
