We had driven over 900 miles and were so glad to get there. The lobby and room were spotless. The service was awesome. The facilities were awesome - so glad for the evening hot food and drinks. (So glad we didn't have to get in the car and drive somewhere else for food and drinks.) The hot - full- breakfast the next morning was also wonderful!! Overall stay was pleasant. Both evening food/drinks and breakfast were okay--nothing fancy. We did have one issue with the front desk. We asked for a late check out (1 hour) and the front desk didn't relay the message to the maid. The hotel stay was great. 30 miles form St. Louis. Very easy to get into and out of the area. When we first walked in it had a strong odor of cigarette smoke and that was uncomfortable to have to smell that. Ammenities we great. Overall it was ok.
