I have paid double queen size bed room, but the roomwe stayed was one king size bed room. And I did argue for a change on the room, however, they replied me they don't have any vacant rom. It's really a bad stay. I need to get compensation back!!!!

To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. There was no parking available on the hotel grounds. We spent 45 minutes locating a safe place to park. Our room had soiled carpets and "banged" up furniture. The bath tub enclosure had traces black mold around the tub. Very disappointed, and not worth the "4" rating even on Hotels.com.

With the budget price for good location by Habor dr. 5Mins driving to Gaslam, 10min to little Italy and ocean view in the morning~free parking and free high speed wifi~what more can we ask~ The room was clean~shower was pretty strong and they clean yr room every day~ I would definitely come back next time when I go SD again!

We booked a second floor room but there were only basement level in the back which was dark and damp. The room smelled. The next day we went to the front desk with papers from hotel.com to say that we purchased a room on the second floor. The only dissapointment was we made our reservation a month prior to our trip and requested adjourning rooms, but when we arrived we were told we couldn't be accommodated.

Well over all it was not bad, but the price was a little bit to high for this level of hotel. I paid $200 per night for 2 nights. Well that me put it this way if I ever come back to San Diego I will not stay at this hotel if I don't have to.

The staff was extremely helpful in getting us in early as we flew in the same day as an evening wedding we attended. A good place to stay with the family. The room is a little bit smaller if you have more family members but it's fine for me. A maximum family member of 4 will be ok.

It was "OK" Bathrooms are old and quite small and the hot water takes forever to get warm. In general it needs a makeover but will do in a pinch.

Says you will have a bay view or pool view, all we got was a parking lot view. Beds where uncomfortable. Purchased ticket to include breakfast, but only covers a portion of your meal. Wanted a balcony but didn't get that either. Will only stay at the other Holiday Inn location next time.

I booked a week in advance of using hotel. The photos of the hotel showed some nice shots of the Holiday Inn Bayside. However, when we arrived I could see that those photos must have been done professionally as they did not represent the hotel very well. Our room was located on the 2nd floor facing into a driveway between the 2 buildings. It was disappointing […] when there were rooms facing into a nice swimming pool, courtyard area. Staff were very helpful. It is in a good location relative to the harbor & downtown is only 10 minutes away. $16 to rent a movie seemed a little excessive, but maybe I'm behind the times. Checked in early in order to use business center to print out boarding passes. Given upgrade to suite with fantastic views. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Holiday Inn Priority membership may have helped on upgrade.

I checked-in late at night and we got the room that was far on the back. When we tried to open the door, the key wouldnt work and someone said that it was the wrong room. We went to the office and she said that the room supposed to be empty. Then, we got the new room on the third floor but its scary.

My family of five was comfortable for an overnighter in our 2-queen room (one kid gladly slept on a self-inflating camping mat on the floor). Nothing remarkable to note besides the good deal on the decent room. We did not use any of the amenities such as the on-floor business center.

Although my booking was saying I have full breakfast the hotel gave me a voucher for $20 only. parking for the car was not available so I have to take the car somewhere else, the free parking was part of the booking as well. it is an OK place for one night only because it was close to the airport.

Hotel room was clean, nicely decorated. We had 3 teenagers with us and so added a rollaway bed. It isn't a large room, but adequate. It seemed very quiet to us too.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to an early flight out of San Diego. The staff we encountered were helpful and sweet.
