We really liked this hotel. the value was appreciated among more expensive hotels in Chicago. Very close to all attreaction and the tour bus. Will come back. On the down side, they were doing work on the exterior of the building wich was quite noisy but you can't fault a hotel for improving the look. We'd go back in a second!

The most disappointing this about this hotel was condition of the room and the construction going on. It got down to about 39 degrees while in Chicago at night. You would want to come to your room and warm up. Not at the Knickerbocker. THE HEAT DIDN'T WORK and they wouldn't switch us to another room. They said they would have maintenance come look at […] it which they never did. 2 night stay. The room was always cold and I had to stay bundled up in my room. The valet prices are 10-20 more than other hotels in the area and the hotel bar and restaurant were not very impressive. The hotel has a decent price point and it is why I chose this hotel. I travel a lot for business and try be responsible to the company by not spending more than $175 a night no matter where I stay. If you go to Chicago - it's worth the extra investment to be comfortable somewhere else. This hotel is on my 'Wont Stay Here Again List'. 詳情

The hotel was great. The concierge was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and places to see and go. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel immensely and will definitely stay there again when we return to Chicago.

Everything was great except when the housekeeper woke us up 2 separate times early in the morning as she entered our room. These second time she knew we were there. (3 hours before check out) That was pretty annoying. Also the fact that there were men taping something to the floor also early in the morning outside our room. we were not told prior to […] our stay that there were renovations happening and were put in a room facing the front where the work was taking place. you can hear everything through the hall doors. but other than that... The only thing was the shower it had the one that just comes down on top of your head... And the one on the wall just sprays you in your face.. So showering was a challenge...

The hotel is located in a great spot! Room was a bit small, but we spent more time out in the city than in the room anyway. Was not a big fan of the shower, it had one of those rain showers. Not enough pressure for me. I would most likely stay here again.

From the first to the last person we met, everyone went our their way and was friendly. Staying walking distance from everything was amazing. Would visit again if back in Chicago.

Having recently stayed here for three nights I would recommend Millenium Knickerbocker to anyone traveling to Chicago. Located at the top of the Magnificent Mile, the hotel is perfect walking distance from the shops, Navy Pier and the river crossing, as well as easy access to Millenium Park and beyond. The hotel was conveniently located within a mile of the Art Institute, a walk on Millennium Mile, and shopping if that was your thing. Great experience at the Millennium Knickerbocker. Nothing negative to say - in fact I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stay. Great location, great staff. Good price. Took my girlfriend to spend the night in the city to celebrate her birthday and I was looking for a hotel in the Gold Coast area. Got a good deal on this site and knew the Knickerbocker had a good reputation. The room wasn't big but other than that it was a perfect place for what we were looking to do. Good service, clean rooms, very nice hotel. With […] that being said, their price for valet parking is crazy. Although I didn't use it, it was listed on their website and this site that parking was $56 a day. Now I know city parking is crazy to begin with and I have come to expect to pay anywhere from $35-$45 a night but $56 is too much especially considering the abundance of parking options in the city. I'm not one to usually go out of my way to save a buck but in this case I parked a block away (near 100 E. Walton condos) and saved $22. If a car wash was included then it would be worth it. 詳情

The Knickerbocker staff was great in general except for two issues: in April 2013 the front facade was being renovated, so there was scaffolding across the front of the hotel; and WIFI is free in the lobby, but they charge about $10 per day to plug into their network from your hotel room.

First, you can't beat this location. Right next to the Mag Mile, close to the lake for a nice job, and walking distance to a ton of great restaruants, clubs, the river, the Hancock, etc. for such a classic hotel, I was surprised at how large and nicely appointed the rooms were. Must have been remodeled recently, and they did a great job. My only complaint […] was something as simple as a coffee bar in the morning. most of the high-end hotels have a self-serve area with some drip coffee and go cups. Not only did they not have that, but each morning it took over 10 min just to buy a cup from the restaurant. They had to walk back to the kitchen, then didn't have change, etc. Way too long for something that simple. I don't need coffee in the room like some places, but a simple bar near the door each morning would be a great addition. Overall great location and great value. 詳情

The hotel could use some upgrades. The view was horrible despite being off Michigan Avenue. I did not like the rain showers with attached bathing wand. One plus with regards to this hotel is the location.
