This is adequate if somewhat musty lodging for a night between flights, but one would not want to stay there for a week in order to see Sydney. 1 night stay connecting from late night domestic arrival to early morning Europe departure. Check-in swift. Reserved Deluxe King room only to find on entering the room it is a small double room. Due to full capacity there was no other room available so had to make do with what I had however the offer to 'make-good' with a free breakfast was accepted. The hotel is well located, the free Shuttle does not operate often enough so you will need a taxi if you have a time issue. Local area has nowhere for shopping or dining so once inside that's it. Have stayed here previously and found hotel excellent. The restaurant is extremely good and even though our plane landed at 9.30pm we were still able to get a meal. Bed so good wanted to take it with me. Best night sleep for ages. Will stay again for sure.

Convenient for the airport but is quite a way from other areas. The breakfast was good though pricey. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Cheaper rates than most of the Hotels in Center and Circular Quay area. And just 10 min walk from the train station and 15 - 20 min trainride to Central station and Circular Quay. Service ok and nice Room.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. The front desk service was efficient and friendly. We stayed here after an early morning international arrival. Stampford Hotel is very close and convenience located closed to Airport. The guest room is very spacious and kept clean. The front desk reception and concerier service are so professional, friendliness and helpful. We definately will recommand to everyone.

I really hate to say this, but I came down with a vicious case of food poisoning the day after spending the night at this hotel. The only thing I ate that my travel companion did not was a chicken caesar salad from room service. We were forced to seek out accomodation near sydney airport when our flight got cancelled. Stamford was one of the closest hotels and within walking distance of the airport. I always stay at this hotel when I have an early flight because it is convenient and the staff are nice. They seem to consider themselves to be a five star hotel, but I stay in many five star hotels in other parts of the world and this does not measure up. It is not luxurious in any way. The room is large, but the bathroom is old fashioned, with a shower […] over the bath tub. The decor is dull. It seemed to me that it was not possible to watch TV except from the bed - I may be mistaken about that, but was deterred from experimenting by the signs warning not to lift or pull the television. I found the bed and pillows quite uncomfortable, would be fine for anyone who likes a very firm mattress. There were only three hangers in the closet. I was very unimpressed when my room service dinner arrived on a tray with a paper mat and with a paper napkin. There was no salt and pepper - apart from the cutlery the only thing on the tray was a basket of good bread and butter. The hotel charges for everything - the shuttle,( which does not start running until 5 a.m., useless for those of us who have a 6 a.m. international flight), paying by credit card, and I found that the small chocolate bars in the mini bar were an outrageous price. I stayed this week in a five star hotel in Dubai and there was absolutely no comparison. It was a staff member who referred to the hotel as being "five star" so I don't know if that is its official designation. If so, it does not measure up. I consider it to be the best among the choices near the airport though. I love to get a room with a runway view. You have to adjust to the occasional freight train rattling by under your window, but I don't mind that. 詳情

Fantastic accommodation we had 5 rooms & everyone was very happy with their accommodation no compliants from anyone would recommend especially if you need to be close to the airport. Was only 10min walk to train station to get into city so was no hassles with this either

Stayed here night before a departure from Kingsford Smith. Nice hotel, looks like it used to be really nice, but now just decent. an excellent stopover point en route to perth from hawaii,large room and very comfortable,just what a traveller needs after a very long flight.

ONly down side was bed was a little saggy but I was so happy in the large room with 2 double beds...I had 2 small children and we were all so comfy there...Nice staff too...very close to airport ...was overall just great...You do not stay in this hotel to see sights though so I put the surrounding area but as low...actually it is not really applicable... Very efficient check-in. Reception staff friendly and courteous. No problem to change to another room as I do not like being on a high floor. Check-out also effortless. Have stayed here many times and will always be my first choice of hotel close to the airport.

Choose this hotel if you just want somewhere to place your head for the night! The room we were allocated needed upgrading, had cracks in the walls and chipped furniture. There is a shuttle to the airport at a cost of $6 per person per trip and is nothing more than a worn noisy mini bus. Bed was creaky and uncomfortable. High charge for internet access. Restaurants on the property were very expensive. Absolutely nothing nearby. Had to take a train into town to find a decent restaurant. On the other hand, nice view of the airport and Botany Bay, and the train station was only a 20 minute walk.

We selected the hotel for its convenient location, and it definitely delivered on that front. THe shuttle service works well from and to both terminals, and the hotel staff was most accommodating. We found this Hotel was great but a little pricey.

Very close to the airport so convenient from that point of view. Clean and comfortable except for pillows which were very hard but okay if you like hard pillows. Unfortuneately I don't. Situated in industrial area so nothing to see or do in the immediate vacinity. Internet access ridiculously expensive - don't even bother.

I needed the hotel as a close hotel to the airport because I had an outgoing flight very early in the morning. The Stamford is actually in walking distance to the domestic terminal, which was a big plus for me (I didn't expect it). Overall I had a very great experience there.

A very convenient hotel for the airport. The room was very sound proofed, so no aircraft noise was heard. The breakfast was plentiful, although glasses for juice were in short supply. The check in and out process was very efficient. The room was comfortable & quiet. I woudl stay there again.

Fairly ordinary hotel with a high price tag. Room was a good size but the lighting was shocking, could have done with a torch. The room seemed to be in the throes of a refurb - grout on bathroom walls, lights not working in the bathroom, holes in sheets. Had a wheelchair accessable room even though we didn't need one, this meant that the water went […] everywhere in the bathroom because there was no shower curtain or screen. The shower head was very difficult to use and there was nowhere to hang clothes or toiletries. The wardrobe space was taken up by a plastic chair and there was no ironing board. Would have asked for a different room or changed hotels if we were staying any longer than one night. Dinner in the restaurant was OK, but again nothing out of the ordinary. When we checked out we were charged for services we did not use. Shuttle bus from the international airport was convenient and reasonably priced but after waiting for a while for the bus to arrive we had to sit in the bus for ages while all the drivers chatted and had a smoke. 詳情

The Stamford is a great hotel with modern rooms and facilities and an excellent restaurant. They offer a green room service where by if you decline the daily room service and reuse your towels they will give you a 20% discount voucher for the hotel restaurant. The hotel was very nice, and the staff extremely helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that it was too far from Sydney attractions. We took the train into downtown Sydney, and it got to be expensive.

Staff was very helpful, room service was very very prompt, location by the airport was perfect. The discount with the three nights booking icing on the cake.

Nice room, very quiet - must be good good sound proofing as the planes fly right over the top. Comfy bed - great place to get some sleep after a long flight.

what can i not say about this hotel. my new wife and I were on our honeymoon and they pulled out all the stops for us. Reservations at great restaurants, bottles of champagne in our room, chocolates, balloons and cards.
