The room was not bad, but the beds were.... Oh my they were hard.

For what its worth the hotel isn't bad for a little family get a way to visit the parks. The money we saved at this hotel over the 5 days allowed us to do more things than we could have if we stayed at a Disney hotel.

I was very impressed for the price. Hotel room was very clean, front desk staff very friendly. Location was good. Close to the Disney & Universal Parks, Continental breakfast was ok. It just gets very packed and it's in a farely small space.

The staff was great.. i really enjoyed my stay here. The Hotels not a 5 star facility, i guess you get what you pay for, they have a boat dock behind with a swimming pool. I would rate this hotel as a good place to stay for people looking out of economy accommodation.

When I read other people's review I thought they were kidding. This is the dirtiest, most unsanitary place I've stayed all my life. The room was full of cockroach eggs and bugs. The carpet was old with stains and dirt. Breakfast was HORRIBLE! I stayed in room 22. You could see where they patch the worn out piece of carpet. The water would not go down […] in the shower and the shampoo looks like it was already used. You could see where the words rub off the tube and the bottle was three quarter full. There was not even a microwave in the room. When I asked the person on night duty to put us in another room, he told me to report in the morning because 73 guests were checking out so there would be space. However, in the morning the man at the front desk was so rude. He insisted that I leave all my luggage in the lobby and wait till 4 in the afternoon before I can get a room. When I did not bring out the luggage and returned the evening the woman was even more rude. She told me they cannot give me a room because I did not leave my luggage in the lobby. I had a party of six includinfg 2 minors, there was no way I could walk around all day with them having no where to stay. I had to go to a nearby hotel. It cost me way more but it was more decent. If you are going to Orlando and need a clean decent place to stay try someplace else. The money is not worth it. I paid a lot more for the room than what some other hotels charge. You can get way better hotel at the same price, a little more or a little less. I stayed at another hotel for the rest of my trip. Pretty decent place and the food is great. It cost me a little more but it was worth the money. If you all want to have a good time stay away from this place. 詳情

the fisrt night was no good my neighbor was drinking they made a lot noise we call 2 or 3 times to costumer services .the police come to the hotel

The celings were full of cracks. Two lamps were broken and the stairways and parking lot was infested with wildcats and raccoons. I called the front desk bc I couldn't get down the stairs bc the animals were in every trash can they said they would send maitenece and never showed. We recently went on vacation to go to Universal Studios and Disney World. The taxi ride to Disney wasn't too bad of a rate from the hotel. The hotel offers a "free" shuttle that goes to Disney, Universal and Sea world..what they don't tell you is that they'll charge you for some locations and that it will be about an hour and half before you get to […] the parks because the shuttle stops at about 30 other hotels.The complimentary breakfast consisted of toast and muffins, but luckily Super Target is located right across the street so you can buy other food. Also, Medieval Times is about a 45 min walk down the road on a well-lit sidewalk. The hotel itself wasn't bad. However, our room at tiny little bugs that looked like ants that infested our sink area. I will say that the people behind the desk were great with helping us out. They let us check in early because our train came in early and they let us check out later than usual because our train left at 6pm. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if all you're looking for is a place to sleep at night while enjoying the theme parks and the rest of the area. 詳情

Stayed here for a week on vacation with my boyfriend, we were trying to put together a fun vacation on a very tight budget and this hotel was perfect for us. Cheap, free breakfast, across the street from a super target, has a free shuttle, and is right in front of local bus stops. Definitely made traveling easy. The shuttles for Disney are convenient […] (we could be there by the time the park opened, and could stay for night shows), but for Universal, plan to get there about 10:30 am and you have to leave by 7 pm. However its conveniently located so buying bus passes worked perfectly for when we didn't want to use the free shuttle. The service here was fantastic, the hotel managers were so helpful, funny, and welcoming, even provided band-aids for all the blisters I accumulated. I'd definitely stay here again just because the managers made traveling easy, carefree, and affordable. This place may not be the cleanest or best quality as far as rooms go, but it is a budget hotel. Don't expect 4-star, but it is sufficient. We didn't spend much time in the room, cuz we were out adventuring, so all we needed was a comfortable bed to sleep in, air conditioning, a shower, and a working toilet. We got all that for cheap, plus a free meal every day. Note the negatives: the free shuttles were always late by 15-30 mins every day, the free breakfast only has fruit on the weekends, and the water smelled really bad. Hotel's breakfast was not worth eating. We ended up skipping it every morning, plus that was one of the main reasons for choosing that hotel. Room had ants, and bathroom was unpleasant. Overall I would look around further at different hotels before choosing Howard Johnson again. There are too many different options in that location.

loved it. nice rooms and perfect location. everybody was very friendly. had a room with a jaccuzi. excelent. will recomend to my family. will be there on my next vacation.

Our recent stay was very nice. We had a king suite with a jacuzzi. Room was nice, but I did wish it had a sitting area, seperate than a desk or bed. Housecleaning came in and cleaned, but forgot to leave additional cups and such. The front desk did accomodate any needs we had, the overall stay was very nice. we will go back.

The place is outdated. Like many outdated hotels, the carpet has a filth that needs replacing and not just vacuuming. However, the service was excellent and the location was good for us, since we were visiting Medieval Times.

The hotel had garbage cans that were close to the rooms which attracted racoons, it was overall good for the price but a bit rundown, the location was good but the area has been hit hard with stores closing, price was good but fridge and micro were $10 a day extra so really you could have got a better hotel with larger beds. the beds were very small […] full size and they were very uncomfortable to adults. the pool was nice and by the lake, there was an ok breakfast, cereal,juice rolls & toast but again you could have got a hotel with a better breakfast included, the room was for the most part clean and the maid Nancy was excellent with the extra's needed for two kids.Over all ok for the money. this is a cheap, no frills just a bed close to Disney hotel. 詳情

I would recommend this plce hands down if you are coming to the area to see the attractions. It's a tremendous value. I would return in a heartbeat!

They hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was a little far from Universal Studios but it was close to the major highways and there were lots of restaurants and shops right near the hotel. For the price that we paid, the hotel was a great deal.

was told this was a remodeled section,,it was nice but not new,,bathtub finish was peeling off,,so you couldn't take a bath. told clerk at check out she said ok but didn't make offer to make me happy,,anything would have been nice,,,,pull out sofa was a bed that was very uncomfortable,, if you didn't mind sleeping on a bar, where was the mattress.. […] if this was a remodeled room i am glad i didn't get a normal room.. 詳情

Our stay last week at this motel was positive overall. A problem with our stove resulted in a quick response and repair from maintenance. Oddly enough, our main complaint was with the housekeeping staff, who didn't seem to understand instructions. I asked one maid to leave a bag of recyclables if they didn't recycle, which she confirmed they didn't, […] but then she took the bag anyway. I had a bag of plastic grocery bags under the kitchen sink to use for trash since for some odd reason they don't provide them throughout the motel. That disappeared the following day. Then on the day after just one day we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, we returned after a long day to find the suite had not been cleaned and replenished. When I called the front desk, they said they had us down for "no service," but they would send what we needed (towels, toilet paper, etc.) right away, which they did. It was also odd to have no microwave and exactly one casserole to cook with and dishes for three in a "fully equipped kitchen" as part of a suite meant to accomodate six. When I asked for more, they said they didn't have extras, but they had one disposable aluminum pan for the oven that they gave me. When we cooked we had to cook/clean/cook/clean transfering the cooked items to plates and bowls--good thing we brought paper plates/cup/bowls and plastic tableware. We also tried to "be green" and reuse towels, etc., but they were always newly replaced when houskeeping came. Everything else was fine, especially the pool and jacuzzi! Met some nice people there. Great location for anything you want. The nearby lake was so pretty too. 詳情

The hotel is a typical '70's hotel that has not been upgraded/remodeled since it was built. We were looking for a motel close to Disney for one night and this hotel fit the bill. It was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice pool was a benefit. It's not the Hyatt, but it's okay for a couple of days.

There were hotels that were closer to Disney World and more expensive, but this was a relatively cheap alternative. The Disney World hotels did not even come with breakfast, even though they were much higher in cost. The breakfast at Howard Johnson Express Inn - Kissimmee Suites was actually pretty decent. Replacing the dirty, old carpet will improve its rating to ** or ***. It would be a good investment.. My friend Mr. Chuck Young, the hotel manager, should attention to this.

We were only staying the night to attend a play so it was worth it for the money but it is a bit far from things. I was amazed at how nice it was for the price. The view of the lake is wonderful and the pool/hot tubs looked inviting. I would stay again.

Tried to give this a 4 star but would not take the rating so I am posting it. Very nice hotel close to shopping and food. Parks were ten miles out just a hop away. Will stay here again for the price was very good. Bathroom, beds and COFFEE pot was perfect. A good night rest after a long day and back up for more. Very good deal for the price, clean pool with a hot tub and a kids pool on the side. 10 minutes away from Disney World and free breakfast.

The hotel is very clean and perfect for the type of trip that we did. It was a park's day and relax at night type of trip.

This was great for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast had toast items, cereal, drinks, fruit, muffins, etc. There is a lake right behind the pool at this hotel.

The hotel was nice for the money but I kind of felt the we were our own maintains people. We had to take out our own trash on 4 of they days that we stayed. And the room had a slight smell when you first walked in after being out. I think the worst thing was the room looked nothing like it did on the computor. Considering what you are paying for, this hotel is quite nice. Even includes breakfast! If you are aware about the price, you won't complain. The only inconvenient was that, the sink of the bathtube wasn't fast enough. But I am pretty sure it was that room only. I would recommend it.

Howard Johnson was a good hotel for the money paid. The room was comfortable and nice.

it's one of the cheapest motels in the area, and it shows it... but if the only thing you're going to be doing in the room is sleeping, it's a wonderful place... it's VERY conveniently located, plus it has a beautiful area out back with a pool and a place to rent jet-skis to go out on the lake... but the rooms themselves look like they were designed […] and built by 10 year olds 詳情

room was nice and clean. We picked this hotel because it offered bbq grills and nice gazebo. The grill was not even usable, the gazeboo was taken over by people renting out jetskis. My husband had to buy a bbq grill and set it up in the parking lot. there is no playground and the gameroom is 2 old machines in an una/c room with a washer and dryer.
