Seneca Hotel & Suites - 芝加哥

The Seneca was great for a weekend in Chicago. Very comfortable and quiet. The location was so handy to great shopping and dining. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong staying there.

I was amazed that I was able to get a room (suite) this nice in the best location in Chicago! The suite had a full kitchen, a dining area, full living room, large bedroom, and 3 large closets. The furniture was a little dated, but it was very comfortable and the suite was very clean. The bathroom was a bit smaller than usual, but it's a charming old […] hotel, and had every amenity I would have ever expected. Francesca's on Chestnut is right downstairs, and an amazing Chicago restaurant! I love this hotel, and look forward to going back. Nice front desk staff and bellmen, too. We were there for a weekend visiting our son. Great old world style hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great! Eggs, sausage, and pancakes cooked to order. Very reasonably priced in January. Will definitely stay there again.

Awesome older hotel with great staff and service..got a one bedroom suite complete with seperate Lr/Din, fullservice kitch w/ dishwasher...Kingsize br and beautiful bath....my goodness a block away from the infamous miracle mile,shop and sightsee till you drop. All this at half the price of the surrounding hotels.

Everyone was extremely helpful in navigating our party to different locations. We loved being close and able to get anywhere for less then 10.00 cab fare. Breakfast was a plus. We all plan to come back to the Seneca and have already referred many of our friends to stay as well. Plan to be back in July for anather gift mart trade show and will definately […] stay again. I stayed in this hotel while attending a meeting at the McCormick Place. The location was convenient, just a short taxi to meeting. I booked at a great price and was pleased with my experience.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. I love to shop and being located J. Hancock Bldg. and the Water Tower Building was perfect. We came for a business trip and were very comfortable in the large suite. We ate at all three restaurants and were very pleased. We come for a trade show every other year and will definitely come back!

This was a great hotel - in a great area - for a great price. Several picky details: small bathroom with wallpaper needing to be glued down, but not a huge problem. The alarm clock in the master bedroom did not seem to work - nor did the phone in that room. The King Suite was more like an apartment - full kitchen with micro, toaster, full refrigerator, […] stove, etc. Small T.V.'s - but they still worked. Much larger "apartment" than we ever expected. European charm - with typically small elevators, quaint carpeting, etc. Very cozy and comfortable. We'd stay there again since the hotel and location cannot be better. 詳情

The first time my family and I stayed there, we were upgraded with the kids it gave us more room. We chose to stay there over the holidays again because we were there for the weekend we liked the location...the room was small and there were 4 of us and we got 2 towels!!! when i called for more, we did not receive any til the next day. Four people taking […] numerous showers with 2 towels was hard we like the fact that the hotel asked to reuse towels but this was ridiculous! we will most likely not be staying at this hotel again. 詳情

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seneca with a few small snags. The TV in the bedroom did not work, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The website also promised good quality terry towels, but they were thin and not good quality. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Having the small kitchen was nice for coffee in the morning. Also […] being 1 block off Michigan Avenue was convenient. Front desk personnel were wonderful. We got to Chicago 3 hours before check-in and expected to store our bags and came back later. They were very helpful in getting us into our room early and called to make sure everything was fine. Great location! Staff was warm and welcoming.

OK- my room did smell a little funky but everything was unbelievable for the price! AWESOME location, felt safe for a single girl, close to all public transport, shops, restaurants. Mini-kichenette a big plus if you like to pack a lunch for long museum days or keep some milk and juice for breakfast! Breakfast is included but who can eat bacon and eggs […] for 5 days straight? I'd just go down and get myself some toast and they were super accomodating! Chicago rocks!!! The front desk was so friendly. I arrived early and the upgraded my hotel room to a king suite which was amazing for the low price. It was set up like a apt with 2 bathrooms. I loved the location. It was walking distance to every place we came downtown for.

Lovely hotel close to The Magnificient Mile Clean friendly staff. The resteraunt pricy not alot of choice

this is our second last minute stay at the Seneca, I can't see why this place isnt 4 stars. Suite sized rooms, well appointed with every aminitie. Friendly, efficient front desk staff and knowledgeable helpful valets. a great stay especially for the price. We love coming here, its central to everything. very, very satisfied!!

never had to venture any further than the front door for dinner both nights. saved on cab fare big time. easy walk to shopping and the lake.

Had to switch rooms and the third one was a charm. Parts of the hotel have not been renovated in many many years and some of the smells in these unrenovated places are quite strong. The renovated room we finally got was great and the layout was just what we needed. The location of the hotel doesn't get much better - close to the John Hancock and water […] tower and within walking distance to the fantastic public transportation system (GREAT BARGAIN) We picked this hotel because it had suites with a bedroom , living room , dining room and full kitchen. We were very happy with our suite. The bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The living room was a great place to relax. The breakfast nook was good for eating and working on the laptop. Kitchen was spacious and well supplied. The one complaint: wi-fi worked fine but was not configured for maximum security.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the location was great next to Hancock building and Water Tower Place. Within walking distance of the theater disctric. Close to trains and busses.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 1 night leisure trip. Overall this was a great hotel. Clean room with much more space than we needed. (Including a sitting area, dining table, walk in closets and full kitchen.) There were two tvs (old but functioning). Lobby area was nicely decorated for the holidays and offered complimentary cookies and hot cider. […] The front desk staff was pleasant. The only negative aspect of this hotel was the cafe. I tried to order room service at 10am on a Sunday. Not only was the cafe too busy to answer the call all three times I attempted. (The phone rang for at least 4 minutes each time I called. NO answer, no "We'll be right with you" etc. I finally put the phone on speaker and walked away until I finally had someone pick up the phone about 10 minutes later.) I was told that they were too busy to provide room service. I have stayed at hotels of all star ratings around the world and have NEVER had this happen. The person answering the call could not even recommend a place close by to pick up our own breakfast (even though I later learned there is a fantastic Italian coffee shop a block away in the Hancock building.) Had I known that room service wasn't guaranteed even though it was advertised, we would have determined a breakfast location the day before or picked up food at a grocery and cooked in the kitchen. 詳情

Most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept in

The hot spiced cider with cookies for guest's in the lobbyis always a nice touch. The singing of Christmas carols by 3 young ladies and a cozy fireplace glowing. What could be better? The location and all hotel amenities were great with the exception of the breakfast which was only mediocre, but included in the cost of the room, so to be expected.

great location...you will compromise on comfort in regards to the furniture. Quite dated/cheap. BUT, the location is ideal for a weekend getaway, its clean! The space is great! They do need to work on the heating...way too warm. Crack a window but not everyone will enjoy the windy breeze! Service was not an issue! LOCATION and SPACE!

This hotel isnt modern but it is 1/2 block away from Michigan Ave. Nice side street location. Front desk and door people were very helpful. I would gladly stay here again.

Great location next to John Hancock and near Navy Pier. Good breakfast restaurant. Parking a bit pricey. Room was awesome! Stayed with two kids so the suite was perfect.
