it was fine - bed was fine - front desk recommended a Chinese food restaurant which was actually terrible. Perkins nearby was not too bad..

The Lady at the front desk was extremely rude when we checked in. I had booked this room through Hotels.com and in the comments, asked for a ground floor room as my husband cannot walk stairs. We got a 2nd floor room . She said they had seen the request on the reservation and then when my husband questioned her ,she said that Hotels.com never forwarded […] the request. She lied one way or the other. She refused to change our room although it was early when we checked in and I am sure there could have been someone to change with. Also, I always book through Hotels.com and they always get the request for a ground floor room to the hotel I book. I have never had a room that wasn't right before. 詳情

We recently stayed at the Econolodge in Grand Forks, ND. We were very pleased with the continental breakfast. The front Desk staff were very friendly. We loved the Microwave and fridge in the room..as we always find this handy with kids. We missed having a coffee maker in the room as we like to have a cup very early in the morning before we get mobile...but […] I must say that the cleanliness of the room was not the greatest. My son dropped his crayon off the back of the night table. I went to move the table to get to it...and pretty much left it where it fell. There was so much debris and wrappers behind the table that I didn't bother picking it up...although we never found a condom as we did in the last hotel room we were in but it was bad enough. When I pulled the covers back to get ready to go to bed...there were long black hairs on the pillows and hair on the linen....I had to question whether the sheets were actually changed??? and the best of all...my son went and opened the microwave and could not believe that there was a tupperware container with what looked like meatballs in tomato sauce....I think it might have been the housekeepers supper and they just forgot about it in the room as there was no lid..??? Otherwise for the amount of time we actually spent in the room...it was substantial...and we would stay there again if we were in a pinch..... 詳情

I was there to take a 6 hr exam on Jan 30th at Univ of ND. I flew in Sat and was to fly out on Tuesday. The hotel was extremely noisy on Sat nite to the point that I could not get any sleep. Apparently they were there for some athletic event in Grand Forks. The hotel did little to stop the partying noise-not sure what they did and if they could have […] done more. I am thankful that most of the rude guests checked out on Sunday so that I could get some sleep on Sunday nite for my very important eam on Monday morning 詳情

Not a bad hotel, but the tub had "holes" in it where the coating was peeling off.

Not bad for the price. Nice TVs, big rooms. Very close to UND campus, but limited options for bars and restaurants unless you drive around town. Good if you just need a room. Also free wifi was a real plus!

Good basic room. Clean, LCD tv. Fridge and microwave. Free wifi. Good value.

Not too bad of a place. Leaky bathtub, small TV's and I expected more out of the breakfast, but overall the place was ok. I would recommend for a one night trip or a stop-gap on a long road trip.

We were staying in Grand Forks for just the one night. For the Price, it was awsome. It was in a good location, parking at the hotel is really good because you can park right outside your door. Staff are very friendly. We felt safe. Rooms are clean. Im a very particuler person about my safety and cleaniness, and this hotel gets top marks.

The price is okay and we've stayed here several times but probably won't be back for awhile. The TV remotes rarely work and don't get fixed when reported. The toilet seats in two of the rooms were literally falling off and never got fixed, the same with burned out lights; all things we noticed on return trips when we were placed in the same rooms. None […] of these are major problems and our rooms have always been clean, quiet and fairly comfortable, but those irritating little "things" will probably keep us away. 詳情

The Econolodge in Grand Forks was okay for the one night that I was there. It was quiet and the surrounding neighborhood seemed fine - I'm not sure what it would be like when the university is in session, though. Hotel entrance/reception and hallways were clean as were the rooms. Maid service was excellent. While the breakfast area was convenient, it should compliment the muffin/chocolate donuts with cereals (raisin bran and some other kids/sweet cereal). The juice and coffee options were excellent.

would not stay there again room smelled tub taps running woke up coverd in red marks .booked room for 2 nights stayed 1 not a good weekend getaway!

Hotel staff was very friendly but that's where the positives end. The room was terribly outdated, with dingy lighting and a mattress that needed to go. The continental breakfast didn't even offer milk or cereal -- rolls and bad pastries was it. Stay somewhere else!
