At only $11 a day, this is a great place to park if you you need a hotel and parking when flying out of LAX

We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is absolutely beautiful inside and very pretty outside. All staff have been exceptionally friendly and helpful during all our visits. While the rooms and neighborhood are much better than the other Embassy suites LAX, (I should note that these are the only reasonably priced suite hotels at the airport.) we received no warning about the night-time construction, or the hot water shut off at this hotel. We stayed the Sunday night following thanksgiving, with 2 small children getting […] on a 7 AM coas-to-coast flight in the morning. No hot water was available between 10 PM and 6 AM, and audible construction was going on throughout the night. Hotel looked nice. The location was just ok in terms of being able to walk places. The pool was under construction, and teh internal courtyard was also. This was not indicated on hotels.com and when I called the hotel beforehand they also did not make me aware of this. This is an excellent hotel.

On arrival, the early shift desk clerk was less than courteous, almost to the point of being rude. However the gentleman on in the afternoon more than made up for the earlier person, as did the rest of the service staff. Great value. Relaxing, Comfortable beds/pillows; nice aftmosphere with the fish ponds/turtles/birds - it felt like a complete get-away […] within the walls of the hotel itself. Location was definitely a bonus - close to airport and freeways, we had no trouble getting around to Hollywood, Venice Beach, Manhatten Village, Santa Monica pier, Rodeo Drive. Staff at the reception was pleasant and make the crowd feel welcome. I left something in the room and called a day later to check. They found it and immediately put it in the mail to me. Very impressive service overall. Room was comfortable and the shuttle staff was responsible and polite. Can;t expect more.

The shuttle bus for this hotel is very very bad. You have to phone hotel to get bus (it is not told before we book it). We wait for the shuttle bus 40 minutes, but we took taxi finally to get hotel.

We had a great time at Embassy Suites - LAX. The hotel staff were very courteous from the moment of arrival to through our stay until departure. We enjoyed the breakfast and daily manager's special. we hae been staying here 3-4 times a year for the past 4 years and find that the rooms have not been kept current. One of the two beds in our room was very hard, the other suitable. There were fingerprints from a child all over the glass sliders. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. All staff we dealt with were great . Shuttle service was prompt and efficient. Would stay again when in LA.

Great location to the airport and great hot breakfast!

The quolity is very high and nothing to complain. Especially the breakfast was delicious. The only thing I should point out is too close to the airport and I should have reeturned rent-a-car before check-in.

I really do enjoy staying at the Embassy Suites. Each time I stay at this hotel, I experience great service. I really enjoy the happy hour & manager reception hour. Thank you for the hospitality. Best, Dana

When we arrived the room I had booked wasn't available. But the check in staff didn't tell me this until my family of 3 went into the room to find only one bed! On querying this issue the staff member appologised but couldn't give me the room I had booked as there were none available and no upgrades available or so he said! Our stay was great- plenty of room for the grandkids to unwind (they played hide-and-seek) in the suite. The lobby was wonderful- so pleasant and interesting, with the pools of fish and turtles. This hotel worked great for us to be close to the airport. The breakfast was great each morning. It is a bit of a drive to attractions but we knew this before we booked. The airport location was more important to us and there was no problem with plane noise.

Hotel is very outdated and woreout.The furniture is old,sofa was broken.Sofa'sheets was not changed from previous guests. Blankets was torn off.Doors are squicky.The staff in breakfast aria was not friendly and helpfull. Swimming pool was not clean.Never stay there again

The hotel was located within easy trip to LAX, Marina del Rey. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.

Very close to airport, has shuttle to airport. Courtyard is one of the kind, very quiet and relaxing. Swimming as well as jacuzzi are indoor and very inviting. Complementary breakfast and manager's cocktail's nightly. Setback-parking fee and in room internet fee.

We always stay at the Embassy Suites hotel and love it. The rooms are large and well designed. The free daily breakfast is great. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing.

My husband and I stayed here celebrating our 16th Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful hotel. It was like walking inside and feelling like you were still outside with all the amendities of being inside. The beautiful palm trees, and the gourgeous ponds with these huge gold fish and turtles swimming around. It was awesome. We enjoyed free cocktails from 5-7:30 […] I believe and the complimentary breakfast was off the chain. Omelets made to order, hash browns, sausage, bacon, french toast, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, cold cereal, toast, bagels, juices, coffee, tea. I know I'm forgetting something, but you get the picture. Only one thing I didn't like and that was the parking rate was a little pricely, but we were blessed enough to find parking on the street. I love this hotel. It is next to highway, near airport and you don't hear the noise. Food is great, staff is great. I stay here all the time for business.

The Embassy Suites El Segundo was great. The chefs are the best!! They were always smiling and accommodating even when the line was super long. The only hiccup I encountered was unclear directions as to where to stand for the shuttle. The best feature this place has to offer is it's proximity to LAX. Other than that I was expecting a much higher standard of service and cleanliness from an Embassy Suites property. I called the front desk to ask why I was told to park on the street instead of in the parking garage and was on hold, and I timed it, for twelve minutes. Another issue was […] that there was no policing of partiers running the hallways and lobby at all hours. Definitely not something I wanted my children to experience but they did. The hotel was beautiful and our rooms were terrific. However, I would not recommend dining in the restaurant. While the free breakfast was great, we decided to have dinner here after dropping off our rental car. What a mistake! The service was terrible. They dropped things off (bread, drinks) and never came back for refills. The restaurant had only […] a few diners so it was surprising that there was such a lack of service. Our waitress was not knowledgeable about the entrees. My daughter and I ordered the special, bacon-wrapped tenderloin, and it was dry and tasteless. Superb! We, the kids and I, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was a feast and the pool was just out of this world. Thank you. We'll do it again soon.

I gave the hotel a "4" on condition/maintenance of the room because we couldn't regulate the thermostat on our own. Apparently because of the age of the hotel the air conditioning is regulated at the same temp for all rooms. But it wasn't uncomfortable - I just prefer the room cooler than what it was. That being my only complaint, the hotel was very […] nice (mattress on sofa bed needs replacement though as it sagged in the middle and was uncomfortable). My family got a room on the first floor half-way between the pool and the complimentary food court - which by the way food was excellent. The service at the hotel restaurant was terrible, but food reasonably priced.. All in all i had a very nice vacation staying at the Embassy Suites! Hotel is very nice overall, and we had no complaints with these exceptions: Parking is way overpriced, but it is very easy to find a spot right in front of the building on the street. Breakfast however is a different story. The food is good with plenty of choices, but the area where it is served is not suitable to accommodate the quantity of guests. […] People are basically stepping on each others toes and it was a nightmare to get through the crowds, find food, and find a table. Plates were hard to come by, half of the stuff you wanted was gone at the time you reached it etc. They had to open part of the restaurant area to offer more seating, and the line for the hot breakfast prep (omelets, french toasts and similar) was endless. The wait was approximately 30 minutes in line to get an omelet. They should give out waiting numbers and rearrange this entire space to make it more convenient for people to actually enjoy their breakfast. This hotel was not up to the expectations of an Embassy, we were not treated very well and the hotel refused to honor the booking I made for a double smoking room. The manager on duty refused to provide me and my family with any reasonable accommodations. I was very unsatisfied with the whole experience.

Totally disappointed with this hotel! Rooms are too little and the hotel smelled moldy. We waited in line for 45 mins for the complimentary breakfast. The pictures on hotel.com were very deceiving.

The hotel staff, room sizes, and amenities were quite nice, but the age of the hotel was definitely showing. From the lobby to the rooms, the hotel needed a refresh on everything from the drapes to the interior fixtures. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. It was accessible from the freeways and in a perfect location. Upon arrival the staff were curtious and friendly. The clerk behind the desk went above and beyond to make sure we knew where we were going and how to get there. He even allowed us to look through a crate of lost cell phone chargers to find one that […] fit. The rooms could have used a bit more towels and the parking was awful. But that was small. My wife and I needed a place to stay as a layover between long flights and chose this hotel on the basis of good reviews and modest price. The location was excellent, the hotel was attractive, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Despite being almost within sight of the LAX airport we had no sense of the city around us.
