"VERY OLD"
The rooms desperately need renovating. Everything is worn out and 30 years old. No sound proofing at all! Security walks the halls at night with their two-way radios blaring. I won't stay there again.

"Greensboro Clarion Hotel"
We have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was fine. Our trip last weekend was a different story. We had trouble getting in our room and had to have a maintaince man come help us. There was a screw missing in the door. He fixed it and there was still trouble getting in the next day. The toilet seat fell off. and he came to fix that too. There […] was a hair show going at the hotel on that weekend and parking was horrible. I waited 20 minutes twice to get a parking spot. It was wall to wall people in the lobby. We were less than pleased and will not be back. 詳情
"not a great stay"
The hotel was old and contained a bad smell. Additionally, there was hair on the bed's sheets, ants in the bathroom and the window curtain had cuts in it. I was very disappointed with my stay, and will never stay here again.
"Lazy and nonaccomodating staff"
I think the staff was confused with who was on vacation. I felt like i was doing all the work and they were just sitting around with their friends hanging out.

I was totally disappointed with everything except the front desk. I had to have the sheets made on bed, they were dirty. Not maintained for the quality of a Clarion. The cost was not indicitive of the value. I would never recommend this hotel.

Check in was at 3PM could not check-in until 5PM, because there were no clean double bed rooms available!
"Ants, spiders and mold"
When we checked into room 115 we thought everything was fine except for the dark, dingy carpet. It was late and we were very tired. A couple of hours later a trip to the bathroom revealed ants crawling around on various surfaces. I went back to bed. At around 3:00 am my wife was awakened by something crawling on her. She was upset and called the front […] desk. They offered us another room but we did not want to pack up and move at that hour. When we got up the next morning and took showers, we discovered mold on the shower curtain and a spider crawling around on our overnight toiletry bag. The next night we stayed in room 440. We decided to order room service and discovered that the phone did not work. I had to use a cell phone for room service which was not even being offered due to being short staffed. We had to go down to the restaurant and pick it up. We wanted to watch a movie but that part didn't work either. The next morning we found the shower head in 440 was leaking and spraying toward the ceiling. Needless to say, we will not be back to this hotel. 詳情

"Clarion Hotel-Greensboro, Wendover"
Check in was fast efficient and friendly. Hotel staff was very friendly, but we had an issue with the lock on our room door. We were told several times the engineer would be sent to fix it. An hour later no one arrived. We were in town to attend a funeral and had to leave, to return later.. When we returned, 7 hours later, we went to the front desk […] to ask if the lock was fixed and we were told "I have no idea, we told the engineer". Low and behold when we went to the room. The lock still did not function. The manager opened the door for us and apologized, and then the engineer finally came to change the batteries on the lock so that we would be able to access our room ourselves. The problem was reported at 3:30 p.m. and was not resolved until almost 11 p.m. We had a problem with the TV in the room, once again the staff was very nice. When I asked the front desk what station to get a certain network (ABC), we were "I have no idea. Look at the guide in the room". However, there was no guide in the room, an no attempt was made to get one. Again, we were told someone would come up to reprogram the TV with the remote. That never happened. I would think that if a lock was to be fixed, someone would ask if it had been taken care of. Seven to eight hours had lapsed since we first reported the problem. In the business of providing service, "I have no idea" is completely unacceptable. An effort should be made to get an idea to resolve the problem. As I said the staff was polite, no one was rude; but very little effort was made to resolve the problem. As I said we were in Greensboro to attend a funeral. Our stay was two night. The location was very convenient, but in the future, we would choose another hotel. We would not recommend this hotel because of the lack of response to our issues. 詳情
