We chose this hotel for its proximity to Bradley University. The hotel is close to both the airport and universityand their excellent staff drivers were able to provide all the transportation we needed between the two. Also the Mark Twain is very charming!

I have stayed here several times while in Peoria on business. It's a nice hotel but the rooms are small. Good restaurant and lounge in hotel. Convenient parking. Not much around downtown peoria at night, if you want to eat at other than the hotel or a bar you will have to drive to another area

We arrived late afternoon on a Friday and we were greeted by a very friendly and efficient staff that was helpful not only to us but the surrounding customers. The lobby was very inviting with the charm of the bookshelves and fireplace surrounded by a lot of comfortable seating. Our room was small but mighty neat & clean. Enjoyed our girls' night at the theater at this hotel. Staff was helpful; room was spacious, updated with comforts of home.

Very close to event and very nice front desk workers; also very nice affordable room.

Since I stayed alone the small bathroom (no vanity countertop, only a sink with a small shelf above) was not a problem but would be if I was sharing with anyone. And the TV remote did not work and the front desk checked on it and never came back to bring me a working one. But the staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed at Mark Twain because it was close to an event we were attending. The room was clean, the staff were helpful, and the "extras" were very nice: drink tickets for the bar, shuttle ride to the event and back, and a wonderful breakfast (made to order omlets). Overall, it did exceed our expectations.

The receptionist at check in was not very interested or accommodating. My feet stuck to the rug and there was a large dirty spot on the spread. The rooms were also very small. We cancelled our next night’s reservation.

The Mark Twain was within walking distance of the Civic center. The hotel had a great atmosphere, clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast.

Staff was very accommodating, opened the breakfast bar early and stayed open through the run for participants in the Steamboat Classic to receive service. We were within walking distance from the riverfront and events, decent food available in surrounding area, and very friendly staff.

Nice location, right off the interstate, overlooking the lake. Had a room on the 7th floor, had a great view. Nice to have 2 complementary drinks in the lounge, then walk to a bar 2 blocks away for the rest of the evening fun.

Hotel was wonderful except for the bed. Mattress just too firm so sleeping was uncomfortable. However, if you love a firm mattress you'll love the sleeping arrangement.

I stayed here 1 night for a concert at the civic center. It was convenient - could walk to restaurants and the center. Parking on site is free and so is the wireless connection. Small but comfortable room, could do a better job with the cleaning. Had a good sized mini-refrig in the room. The price charged at check-in was not the price quoted by Hotels.com […] but when I showed them my confirmation, they adjusted the price. Front desk staff was OK - not especially welcoming. The breakfast staff was very friendly and accommodating. They earned their tip! 詳情

My recent stay at the Mark Twain was very pleasant. The hotel is located in an interesting part of town (close to a lot of financial buildings) but also very close to the river front and it's easy to walk to more "vibrant" parts of town. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, the breakfast was delicious, and there is even a free shuttle service […] to locations within a 5-mile radius of the hotel! This was a great way to see the sites and our driver was very friendly (as was everyone else we encountered). Other amenities included a LARGE selection of DVDs to choose from, and complimentary drink tickets. The room I booked had no closet and no drawers. The shower was very small and cramped...like a space capsule. The towel I used after showering in the morning, turned out to be dirty. I complained and they did move me to a better room at no additional cost. However, it also had a small space capsule shower. Also, there was no business center. We stayed at this hotel in Peoria IL because my niece's wedding reception was held there. We enjoyed two cocktails and breakfast included in the one night stay. Reception dinner was great and breakfast was awesome. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff in resturant and lounge were very friendly and accommedating. I would definately stay here again.

Warm and pleasant staff. Beautiful and homey rooms. Great location. There simply is no reason to stay anywhere else! Bigger is not necessarily better! I just loved the place and I'm a very finicky traveler! I already booked my return stay, from the car driving home.

Great ambiance & VERY comfortable rooms with a nice choice of room style/amenities. Once you negotiate the surrounding street configuration it's easy access (and with in walking distance) to many of the new riverfront venues & nightlife.
