"Thin walls"
The hotel itself is very nice and the staff was fabulous but during the early morning hours when the night owls came in from partying, I could hear every move our neighbors made from walking to their TV and when they used the restroom. "Great staff, property under renovation"
The best part of this hotel was definitely the staff - polite, attentive, helpful, and obviously working hard to do their jobs well. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, the room was very clean, and everything was handled professionally. The hotel is currently under renovation - the newly renovated (looked VERY nice) first floor rooms were about to […] open up, we stayed on the second floor (which was starting renovation as we checked out). The only real downside was the breakfast - it just wasn't good. "rESIDENCE iNN on I35- pool was a major let-down!"
chose this hotel for proximity to a destination and for the breakfast buffet and the pool. HUGE let down since the pool was GREEN! (the entire 3 days we were there) I would not allow my son or grandson to get in it! The room smelled musty, stale and sour with a cover up of Lysol. Didn't see anything particularly dirty in the room, however, BIG roaches […] in the hallways. Staff was fine, especially gentleman serving us in the breakfast buffet. Very warm and inviting service.
