"Nice"
Very handy location so close to the United Center, plus they have a free shuttle to and from the UC....Bonus
We had very fine service from the valet to registration to food service.
"Great front desk staff, good stay"
Our stay was pleasant. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. Waited a long time in the dark in not the best neigh borhood for the shuttle after the Bulls game, eventually had to take a taxi with other guests, but was reimbursed by hotel. Restaurant breakfast buffet was plentiful, but tasteless, bacon - soggy, eggs - rubbery even when freshly […] made by cook. Wait staff was attentive. Room was clean, sometimes sirens loud, but it is the medical district. Mattress was VERY firm, but some like that. Had to open wndows AC put out very little cold air even on the lowest setting of 60 high fan. Internet is expensive at almost $14 per day. Good stay, would stay again for another Bulls game, but not a general visit to Chicago. 詳情
"Nice hotel overall, but..."
I chose the hotel because it was close to the United Center and parking was cheaper than closer to downtown. When we first arrived the valet guy was very friendly. The room was nice except the closet door was completely off the track or too big for the door and would not close (which was kinda scary since it was in the lath towards the bathroom and […] you could very easily bust your head in the closet door in the middle of the night or if not paying attention). I called that night about it (we had to get ready and were too excited to deal with it when we first arrived). The lady at the front desk was somwwhat snappy and rude about it. She never said that she apologized for the inconvience but only that it is nothing that they can do except move us and its kinda late so it would need to wait until morning. We just dealt with it. The lighter skinned valet/shuttle driver/bellhop guy was not personable much at all. Darn near mean spirited. Not sure what his deal is, but probably not who you want greeting excited tourist/guests. The staff at The restaraunt were great and the food was delicious. The front desk evening staff were not as helpful as the daytime i.e. places to eat, distance of various places, etc. also the pool at UIC having a fee for use is crazy. Ya'll really get ppl with those fees big time! Enough of my ranting, the place was fine. Nothing I can not deal with. I don't know if I will stay again, but there is a chance I will if coming to see an NBA game. 詳情
"++BEST STAFF++SERVICE!!!"
My son and I had a great experience for 2 days here. We were made to feel welcome and important from start to finish by a first class staff! They helped us with anything we needed and did it with great smiles. They had shuttle service to anywhere to and from a mile radius, including the United Center. Our 2 game stay was so easy to and from home within […] 15 minutes of game ending. I am going to write a thorough review on trip advisor later to recognize this great staff. Hotel Marriot Chgo. @ Medical District/UIC is within 3-5 minutes from the Chicago Stadium, Greek Town, the West Loop and the south Loop of downtown Chicago. The amenities and quality are excellent, however, a late breakfast buffet is not recommended, opt for the ala carte instead.

nice hotel-valet and reception staff could not be any nicer. service at the bar was slower than could be to get dinner and drinks....the room was great and very comfortable although my room was across from the elevator and it was noisy...nice big bathrooms

Everyone working during our stay was extremely nice and helpful. We have never been to Chicago before and didnt know where anything was and the staff there were so helping in telling us places to visit during our stay. If we needed anything they got it for us right away. Each day when we arrived back at the hotel in a cab, the staff made sure to ask […] us how the cab driver was and how we were. "Great stay at the Marriott Medical/UIC"
The Marriott Chicago at Medical District/UIC was one of the nicest and most user friendly hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment we pulled up and were welcomed with valet parking to the rides to Rosebud Restaurant in Little Italy, we were just astonished at the professionalism and comittment to customer satisfaction that the Marriott offered. […] One of the most useful experiences was their shuttle transportation. Not only did they drop us off at Rosebud, but they also picked us up AFTER dinner and took us to the United Center AND picked us up AFTER the Bulls came. It was so convinent and hassle-free, not having to hail a cab or stand wait in line for public transit. The room was perfect, not too big, not too small, it had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful for those of us from out of town. I don't plan on staying anywhere else in Chicago when I attend Bulls games, and I would recommend the Marriot to anyone traveling to The Windy City!! 詳情

"Next to exit door=lots of noise through the night"
Crazy loud neighbors woke us up at 4:30 am. had to call security. not sure the hotel was worth the money. front desk staff was helpful and courteous though.
"Good hotel - internet needs improvement"
Hotel was nice. Internet access was slow. Food at restaurant good and room service timely. Good little workout center. Stay her for 4 or more days at a time. Comfortable. Look forward to the internet access improving!
