excellent service at a great price, attentive staff, comfortable room. I travelled to Lao for a visa run from Thailand, my stay at Hotel Mercure was great, I will be going back for longer than just overnight next time.

I have no idea what they sprayed in this room but it reaked of it everywhere. The kleenexes, bed, etc. It was some kind of bug spray that I know for sure. Besides that, the hotel was enjoyable. Average breakfast but only 3 minutes from friendship bridge.

The hotel rooms are getting very tired and the aircon doesn't work properly in either of the 2 rooms I was in. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

When I booked the hotel, I was given to understand they offer breakfast, after I went there they told me breakfast is not part of the pacakge. They charged me money even for the free coffee powder and milk. They dont replace the soaps etc daily , they dont change towels, the bed is lousy, the ac does not work and the guest relations guys dont understand […] anything even when explained seven times over. Hotel itself is good - nice rooms, a pool, gym and tennis court! However, the service is really poor - well too overstaffed. There are always service staff running around you, but if you want sth (ie a diet coke, which should be easy) most of them dont speak enough English to help you.

Meeting room facilities quite good, also a well-equipped gym and fairly large pool. They have renovated the coffee shop and it is greatly improved, food quality as well as lay-out. The location is not far from the downtown, however, there is no public transportation, like taxi. Food is not excellent and the room is too dark. Towel should be changed with new one soon. Anyway, even Mercure, all the facilities is not satisfied. However, internet connection is excellent.

Very friendly staff.. ok english ... pool and breakfast area have just been upgraded... nice. A bit out of town but only a 10 minute walk or $3 ride in a tuk tuk which is part of the fun. No tour desk .. you need to walk into town. Great restaraunt on river 5 minutes away. Dinner for 2 with a bottle of beer and2 glasses of wine for $ 22.00 !

Good hotel at good price. A little worn down but nice staff, pool and good service. BIggest problem is maybe that no one speaks good english. A little off but if you rent MC you can get anywhere in notime.

町中より離れていて徒歩では通いづらいです。3泊しましたが毎回tuk tukを利用しました。部屋は普通です。アメニティが貧弱で歯ブラシ、シェーヴはありません。スタッフは親切です。歩いて数分のところにMarkTwoという大きな屋外レストラン（テントありで雨でもOK）と併設しているクラブがあります。クラブは若い人で賑わっていて活気あり。私は朝食なしの予約をしましたのでビュッフェ形式の朝食を一度取りましたがUSD10もチャージされました。時間が有る方は是非、朝食は朝市(タラート・サオ)のローカルフードで！美味しい上に安いです。空港までの送迎はUSD5.00でした。部屋のTVはNHK Globalも入ります。部屋の空調は快適でした。韓国からの団体客の一行と同じフロアで、夜中まで騒がしかったのが残念です。道路反対側近くにMekong […] Hotelがあり、そこのナイトクラブは女性を付けなくてもビール代（1本で400円くらい。2人でいきました）だけで済むので覗いてみたらいかがでしょう。興味深いですよ。 詳情

空港に近いことを考慮して仕事のため宿泊しました。 結果的には、ビエンチャンはそもそも空港が町に近く、渋滞も少ないので他のホテルでもあまり変わりません。 逆にちょっと食事に行くにもタクシーを使わなければ行けないので煩わしさを感じます。 ホテルのレストランはおいしかった。

A ce jour (Juin 2011), une partie de l'hôtel a l'air d'être encore sous travaux. Les décors sont défraichis. Ca fait un peu vieillot. Les chambres sont correctes. La piscine agréable. Le service est très bon. Les tarifs raisonnables (promo). Malheureusement l'hôtel est un peu désaxé par rapport aux commerces, restaurants... de Vientiane. La zone […] est calme, c'est une question de gout et de couleurs après. Il est vrai que les taxi/tuk tuk sont très peu chers pour se déplacer donc on peut toujours se débrouiller. 詳情
