We parked in the lot and some drunk guy tried to pick me up and sell me liquor. Then the sales manager kicked out a single mother and her two week old baby for no reason. When the mother asked for her belongings, the manager called the police on her. It was awful. The side door that says you need a key to enter was broken so anyone can walk in. For what I paid for this hotel I was very happy. The staff was very helpful the room was clean and well kept. The one drawback is the bathroom was small but we will absolutly stay here again. For the money this is a great value.

The front desk attendant was very friendly and accomidating. The room was cozy. Having the sink right next to the door was a little annoying, but we were satisfied overall with our stay. Would recommend and stay there again

Good location to O'Hare, Woodfield Mall, highways, Krispy Kreme. I got my money's worth.

The price was good, staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bathroom was quite small and the sink was too close to the room enterance door. The free breakfast was YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR but overall I was satisfied and comfortable.

great value for the money, and a very clean, neat room

ok hotel, out of the way, nothing around it, breakfast was as basic as it gets. if u have to stay there make sure u ask for a room away from the highway. nothing within walking distance glad i had a car.

We were quite satisfied with the hotel overall. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever in the area again for any reason, I would not hesitate staying there again.

I had prepaid for this room for three nights - IT WAS SO FILTHY AND HORRIBLE THAT WE LEFT AND FOUND ANOTHER HOTEL! The carpet was "tacky" with dirt. You could write a book in the dust on the TV screen. The entire hotel smelled like dirty socks as soon as we walked in. The room was somewhat cozy you pretty much get what you pay for. The continental breakfast was horrible!!! We got a non-smoking room but it smelled like dry smoke:(

In search of inexpensive places to stay while traveling cross country (to a destination, not sightseeing) our first stop was in Chicago. I have a certain level of expectation from a Days Inn and it was met during this visit. Room was pleasant, front desk was very nice. Location was not so easy from highway. But decent for the money.

My first impression was YUCK. Actually, my final impression was yuck. But it was quiet. I'd like to say it was also cheap, but the guy in line in front of me with no reservation paid about half of what I did!

I checked in and had to run to catch the shuttle bus to wrigley, by the time i got back to the room it was around 1:30 am. I had to use the restroom, i went to flush the toilet and it didn t work, i was so tired i just went into the back of the tank and manually flushed it. Checking In was a problem in itself, did not get the room reserved, the 2 desk clerks did not seem to care as they were arguing betweeen themselves, when the one asked for help with the computer for check in, the other didn't want to help. The room was suppose to be a non-smoking room, but was on a smoking floor, which the hallway stunk like cigar smoke, […] of course you could smell it in the room, which I watched the house keepers spry a lot of frebreeze, which did not help. The tub in the room backed up while taking a shower, informed the front desk, the answer I got was they did not have maintenance on the weekends, but would ask housekeeping to check it, which did no good. This hotel had a promising look when I checked in, and the reception was good, but the non-smoking room had a distinct smoking smell, and there was no sign on the door indicating that it was a non-smoking room, though there were signs on the TV, and no ashtrays inside the room. I was sneezing and my nose running most of the night, and got very little […] sleep. When I confirmed in the morning if the hotel is also pet friendly, I asked if only certain rooms or were all rooms game for pets to stay. I was told all rooms were open to pets stays. So, perhaps between the smoking and the danders from dogs and / or cats was the cause of my sneezing and nasal problems. I checked out the next morning, and found La Quinta Inn has a pet policy, but does not allow pets on the upper floors. Mary at the front desk was very understanding and helpful. 詳情

The desk clerks were terrific! Had a pleasant welcome to their hotel at check-in and was given details on all amenities offered at the their hotel. Also, said they would be pleased to help in any way to make the stay pleasant...and meant it!

Service was friendly, but the hotel was not clean. Dirty carpets and questionable bathrooms and linens.

The only thing I did not like was that the carpet throughout the hotel and my room needed to be shampooed. It was very dirty. Besides that it is a good hotel.

The people at the front desk were very friendly on both nights that we stayed at his hotel. One downside, however, was that we requested a fridge and they did not provide one. When you are staying for more than one day, you like to be able to save your food and keep it fresh. The room had plenty of space to move around, so you didn't feel trapped or cramped for space. The shower was also nice, high powered, but the bathroom was a little small. I ordered a 2 bed NON smoking room for my stay there last weekend with my mom, girlfriend, and little bro. I show up with the confirmation that clearly states this order and the hotel front desk lady has ONLY a SMOKING room. The room felt like I was at the poker floor of a Las Vegas casino with Steve Wynn himself exhaling carcinogens on me. The women […] at the desk made NO effort to help me find a new room OR comp/ discount my stay. I have asthma so this was quite an issue for me. I'll be staying somewhere next time. -Z 詳情

Days in at Elk Groove is a nice, clean and good neighborhood hotel. I stayed here with my family and my family likes it. The room is clean and a good continental breakfast makes the stay enjoyful.

This hotel is not as cozy as I expected , it's likely too simple, the decoration and the color in the room is so plain that you will not like it at your first sight when entering the room. I had a non-smoking room, but the entire hotel reeked of smoke. It was gros! You can't beat the price though.

Room was quite and clean and Bed was comfortable. Couldn't ask for more at the price we paid! And it was close to the hospital where my mother was at.

I spent two nights here rather than drive through the Great Blizzard of 2011. I usually avoid Days Inns after some bad experiences and was greatly surprised at the good condition in which I found the inn and my room. The room was clean and smelled okay. Everything was just as we expected. The sheets were clean, but we found a hair on a towel. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked pretty well. Not perfect, but great for a two-star hotel.

The room was super except that I am a smoker and when I opened up the door to enter the room, the cigarette stink about knocked me over. I always stay in a smoking room and have never smelt smoke from the previous customer.

Not very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms were small and the hallways smelled. The bed was extremely hard and I could hear everything going on in the hotel rooms next to mine or the hallway. The outside door to my room needed to be forced shut along with my co-workers. I would not stay at this hotel again!
