Quiet (double-glazed windows!), clean and very friendly, competent staff. It was a bit far from an underground station, but not too much. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Breakfast was very good, although not included in the price of the room -- I only had time to have breakfast one day of my stay.

A perfectly pleasant but very generic hotel that is well positioned for anyone using public transport - just a short stroll from the L5 tube (Hospital Clinic) that joins to Barcelona Sants station (RENFE direct from the airport every 30 mins) and equally as close to the L1 tube station (Urgell) that speeds you away to most places. Staff were helpful […] and courteous. Beds were good, towels plentiful and room standard was fine. There are more bars, cafes and patisseries within a stones throw than you'd ever need so don't bother with breakfast. Nice clean n comfortable room.. Good heating and hot water... Provided toiletries.. Useful if u have forgotten or ran out.. Metro is about 5 min walk away.. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while on holiday in Barcelona.It is well situated between two metro stations. I used Hospital Clinic station and it was about a 10 minute walk. There are several cafes on your doorstep as well as a greengrocer and a few other shops. And they are open late. Although centrally located, there is little noise from outside, […] even with the window open (I was on the 6th floor). The hotel has a calm atmosphere and most of the residents seemed to be business travellers. I did notice that there soundproofing between rooms was not so good - I knew when the person in the next room was showering and one morning I was woken by their alarm clock. The hotel breakfast costs 16 euros unless you book i advance when it is 11 euros. The selection of food was not bad (usual cold meats, cheese, breads, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, juices) but not outstanding. I only had breakfast the first day as you can get a coffee and croissant in a local bar for 2 euros. There was a stocked fridge in my room with a little spare space for food and drink I bought in supermarkets. There were no coffee/tea making facilities. My room was surprisingly large for the price. Good blackout curtains against a strong February sun. I would definitle recommend but suggest using a local bar for breakfast. 詳情

Location was good - in a mostly residential neighborhood, with quite a few restaurants nearby. A small supermarket is located right opposite the hotel, as well as a post office. Felt very safe. It's a 15-20 minute walk straight down Carrer de Valencia (where the hotel is located) to the main touristy area. The hotel offered free wi-fi, although username/password […] expired every 24 hours, so you have to go down to the lobby to request new ones, which was slightly annoying. I tried the breakfast one time - it was very much a continental breakfast, so I found it very expensive for the selection which was offered (a wide variety of bread/pastries, but little else). The restaurant was closed, the room service menu consisted of pizza delivered to the hotel (I didn't try this). The room itself had no view, but for the price that I paid, I won't complain. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and functional. Shampoo, shower gel, soap bar, shower cap, toothbrush were all available. One gripe I had was that an electric kettle was not available - I would have liked to been able to have a hot beverage in the room. I think this was one of the cheaper NH hotels in Barcelona - if I do go again, I would try the other hotels closer to the main area. 詳情

We're a family with 1 yr old baby who stayed for 5 nights in a standard double bed room. Placement of hotel is great with lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets in vicinity. We walked without problems to Sagrada Familia, to the beach, to the Montjuic and distances from hotel seem reasonable. About the hotel itself we found the room much smaller than […] advertised on the website when we booked it. Certainly not 35m2, from what we could approximate bedroom not larger than 13m2, whereas bathroom reasonably big. Anyways, even with surface of bathroom included would not make 35m2. That was a bit inconvenient as we had placed a baby bed and had barely any space to move around the room. Cleaning was not amazing and our baby would have very dirty hands after playing on the floor. We recently stayed at NH master Barcelona for 5 days. When we first walked in room my initial thoughts were, it's smaller than the pictures but clean and big enough and the bathroom was great! Huge and very clean. The only downside was when we first walked in there was a musty smell in the room, but when we came back in the evening it had mostly gone. […] The location was ideal, not to far from the main shops, bars and plenty to see on the walk there (we preferred to be out of the center as its much quieter). Hotel is actually OK. Yet it is about 1/3 smaller than what is shown/described in hotel.com which should be 377 sq (or 35 m). In addition, There is NO hot coffee pot for hot water in the room. We have to get hot watert from reception bar everyday for 5 days. . If I would know this condition in advance, I won't be so disappointed.

NH Master was conviently located in the middle of Barcelona. Took airport bus in from the airport, got off at the 2nd stop and walked north 5 blocks. we each had one luggage so it was easy. All the clerks spoke english very well, The Ramblas was a 15 minute walk, everything was close. Had the best meal in the Boquariea just off the Ramblas. . the only […] thing we didn't care for was that the beds were 2 singles put together rather than 1 queen bed. They even supplied a sponge as one of the toilitries. Walked to Sagrad Familia, that was a 20 minute walk. I would stay there again. We did get cheated by the taxi. Every surcharge he could hit us with when we went to the airport to leave he hit us with. there was no time to complain since we had to catch a plane to leave. Cost 40 euros, The meter was 25 euros and he started tellings us that all these other charges applied. The only one that was legit was the 1 euro for each bag. If I had more time (we had an early morning flight out) I would have taken the bus back to the airport. Taxi's are corrupt in Barcelona. 詳情

The staff here were very helpful and welcoming. Before arriving at NH Master, I emailed them to request a bottle of wine in our room as it was a special occasion and a lady called Maria had this arranged for us. We arrived at 9:45am (before checkin time) and was able to go to our room early, which was great. Our room was on the top floor (605), looked […] out onto a court yard/tennis court, wasn't the best view, but I didn't choose this hotel for the view! The bed was huge and comfy, extra pillows & blanket, air con worked v.well, shower always had hot water and there was a free safe in the wardrobe, so no complaints really! We Chose not to have the breakfast, which would have been 7euros each per day,which was a discounted price, but we found lots of cafes/bakery's close by. We had a great time in this hotel. The neighbourhood is good and it is located not too far from Plaza Catalunya. It is a nice walking to get in there or take the Metro that is just 3 blocks away from the hotel.

Hotel nicely located at around 20 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya and 10 minutes by bus or metro. The rooms are very quiet and clean (we had a room overlooking a courtyard) but the bedding is not that confortable. Receptionists are helpful and smiling. Couldn't really fault the location or standard of the hotel, and it was a real bargain. Rooms not huge but more than adequate. We really liked the neighbourhood, felt very safe, handy for the metro and only about 10-15 minutes to walk to Las Ramblas etc. Big disappointment for me was arriving with a suitcase full of crushed clothes, asking to borrow […] an iron only to be told that they didn't have one and only offered a laundry service (expensive). First hotel I've ever been to that didn't have an iron already in the room or which could loan one. However, full marks to the receptionist as when i said I would go out to buy one, she gave me directions to a local shop and even called then to check opening hours and that they had a suitable item. Pack your own travel iron if you're going, but I will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again myself when I return to lovely Barcelona. 詳情

Friendly, helpful staff. Central location. Got two twin beds although booked a double bed. Insufficient ventilation in the room. There should have been some sort of ventilation even if it didn't make sense to keep the heating or air-conditioning on. If it weren't for these two points it would've been an excellent stay.

Myself and my wife just got back from our trip to Barcelona and we stayed for 3nights at the NH Master. We enjoyed our stay at the NH Master it's a very nice clean hotel with very helpful staff. The room is spacious with lovely bathroom and all the basic facilities that one would need during their stay. The only slight drawback is the location, it […] isn't close to any metro stations. The hotel is situated bang in the middle of the Urgell and Hospital Clinic stations and they both are a 8-10 minutes walk. However there are some nice retaurants nearby and few historical places are walkable 15-20minutes such as Casa Batillo and La Padrera. We stayed for 2 nights at the NH Master Hotel, 107 Carrer De Valencia in Barcelona. The hotel was spotless, the room had no view as such, just a view of teh roof, but that wasnt a problem as we was out most of the time. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Had such a great stay in Barcelona. The hotel isn't right in the centre but is in a 'real' neighbourhood, not touristy. Most people didn't speak much English (they did in the hotel) but not an issue at all, we made ourselves understood! Lots of lovely local bars and restaurants in the area. Didn't realise this is just on the edge of the gay district, […] not that this was an issue but might be useful for gay travellers to know. We went to a few friedly low key gay bars a few roads away, Berro was a firm favourite for cheap beer and great tapas as well as good service with a smile.
